Pull through... Waste dump up way to high even with a standard expandable brace it took two people to dump. Metal pole next to site entrance is a hazard. Narrow sites mean to avoid pole and allow storage doors to open we had to park way over to open doors. Long wait to check in.

Nice campground. Clean park and clean restrooms. friendly staff A few broken irrigation pipes. The help drives to fast in there carts. Too many full time residents.

Very pleasant stay, good location and all facilities and staff very nice. Not the most scenic location but next to golf and fantastic restaurant at beautiful historic Benbow inn within 5 min walk.

We love Benbow KOA! We’ve been here many times and it’s always our choice place for the fall with the beautiful colors. Also love the convenience of the walkway under the freeway to the Benbow Inn for a break from camping food and a chance to enjoy a wonderful dinner.

Love the trees all over and they keep the grounds nice. Seems like some people live onsite year round and are a little sketchy looking. The flies at our site were so bad we couldn't sit outside during the day. It was disgusting and disappointing. At night the flies were gone. Loved the golf course right there. Great pool and activities. Manager not friendly. Seems like all KOA managers are rude.

The people who lived in the cabins were playing their music so loud and the smell of marijuana was evident outside of the cabin. We paid extra for our dogs, not sure why. The dog park was pitiful and the clean up bags weren’t even put in the dispenser just sitting on top.

The grounds and sites are nice, made for a good weekend getaway. The area is beautiful! No reflection on KOA, but unfortunately the river wasn’t quite as expected. I should have done my homework.

Always love our stay at Benbow KOA, however this time there seemed to be many loud kids and adults during quiet hours, shame on the adults who should know better, but was not a peaceful camping experience for us, was happy to leave and go to the Humboldt State Park , Burlington where is nice and peaceful.

There was very poor internet and even when we purchased a third party internet, it did not work. Need a booster if important to patron. Office said they would send someone to take a look and they never showed. Only there two days, so it didn’t matter too much. Place was clean. Some traffic noise from 101.

the park was not as well kept as the last time we stayed. the hose connection leaked the entire time. someone was speeding through the park after dark on a ATV which woke me up several times, also there were barking dogs late at night. it appears that many of the cabins are now occupied by long term residents, plants on the decks growing, several cars that looked non operable. very dissatisfied

Nice grounds but very noisy. Highway traffic can be too loud unless you run the ac or fan all night. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Cabin was clean and AC was working great, basketball courts were nice, and grounds seemed well maintained. Unfortunately the pool was freezing even though it was 95 degrees that day, the hottub wasn't working, and they ran out of water for the little kids water park...

We came here for my 2 year old sons birthday and we had one of the best weekends. The park was so clean and nice. My son loved the pool and the splash pad. There is something to do for all ages here! Everyone was so kind that worked there and very accommodating to our needs. We can’t thank you All enough for such a great weekend. We will be coming here every year now.

Couch smelled and had stains..for 230 a night i wasnt impressed. Cabins need updating...golf course was a complete joke. Not mowed. Or maintained. I recommend going straight to willits koa.bypass this failure.

There is nothing special about the Benbow KOA. For the location the daily rate is too high. Also to say that you have WiFi is an exaggeration. About half the time the WiFi doesn't work at all and when it does work it only at about 50kbs which is like in the old dialup days. The least you could do is to install an satellite based system for your customers. The bathrooms and showers were okay.

I am very sorry if our staff did not inform you of the satellite service. Our local wifi service is free but when there are a lot of devices connected it is very slow and limited. But, we do have a satellite provider who will allow a direct connection for our guests at the rate of $5 per GB.

The golf course needs help, and if I had to rate it, it would be a 1, but the campground and the restrooms and showers were clean. We would stay there again.

This is KOA is clean. There is more space between RV's the other KOA's we have been at. There are more trees and vegetation that makes this a pleasant place to stay. This KOA has a less hectic busy feeling.

WiFi bad very tight getting into site. Site not level. Sewer and power pedestal not conveniently located

I'm sorry the site wasn't what you expected. We do have an older park and the roads are narrow for big RV's to navigate.

This KOA has a very nice vibe to it. Beautiful setting, lots of trees around and in the campground. Very clean and COVID safe bathroom. Nicely laid out so it doesn’t feel crowded, even when full. Will definitely be back.

This place is very nice. If you are a tourist traveling threw take my word as a local for 44 years. This is one of the best RV parks around this area. And it's central for all the cool stuff around. It is always clean and the grounds are always very well kept. On the east side of the park is a nice golf course (as long as we are not in a drought and they can water properly) on the west side of park is a beautiful river. Plus they have walking paths all over as well. I would highly recommend this park for just you or the hole family.

This was our second trip to this location and it won't be our last. The staff is so friendly and the property is so clean. Make sure to check out the hand made bennies and jewelry. I highly recommend this KOA!!!
