Clean, nice location. My only suggestion is to fix the women’s showers. The only one that has a light has drainage problems.

Very nice KOA, clean, and friendly people. We have stayed there before, but this time I didn’t like my site, number 71. I ask for 92 and for some reason I was put in a different spot.

Clean bathrooms & showers. Nice setting with shade trees. Some campsites were not level enough for a pick up camper.

We booked to stay here for 25 nights, we left after just one night. This is not a “KOA Holiday”, it may meet the criteria but in no way does it meet the standard. The majority of the park is residential (Hotel staff, construction/electrical workers) Sites are very narrow and tough to maneuver even though they claim to be BIG RIG friendly. Hard to complain because these are tough times we’re living in. Staff was excellent, helpful/friendly, place clean. But like reviewers have said before me, the WiFi was terrible, and the park is full of contract workers, so it wasn’t very inviting for regular campers. They are likely what kept the park open during COVID though, and good broadband is rare in most rural areas of CA. Ce la vie…

We stayed in site 102 pull thru. We have a pleasureway camper van and only used our shocks for leveling. Have stayed here a few times over the last couple of years and have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Hot tub was really nice after a long drive and was clean just like the bathrooms. Internet a little spotty but manageable for what we needed. Would recommend this KOA.

Nice sites easy access. Walked under bridge to see beautiful hotel. Too bad there was poison oak in the treed areas around the camp. It was posted but walking the dog meant a real short leash.

Great location and very friendly, accommodating staff. The grounds and area are well kept and we enjoyed walking our dog along the river.

I have mixed feeling about the Benbow KOA. I have been staying there for probably 15 years. Pluses, nice location, nice golf, nice staff, fairly quiet. Negatives, for years the pad have needed improving so RVers don't have to drive across wet grass (and mud) as we enter and leave. The wifi was terrible.

Thank you for being a returning guest. We appreciate the feedback. We offer Free WiFi, and also have a Premium WiFi for those needing a stronger connection. During the winter months the ground is often soft and wet due to the rains. We hope you can visit again!

The park has greened up very nicely after the recent rains. Some major work with the park's electrical system is underway, showing a commitment to some overdue infrastructure maintenance. We love this KOA and its friendly staff. Hope to be back soon.

My Family and me have stayed at this KOA in the past it was fun and clean and this time it was a disappointment. its run down and it appears to have folks living in the cabins full time and not just a couple cabins.Cloths hanging off the rails of the cabins and blanket coverings over windows. I didn't feel safe walking my dog with the other dogs off leases and guest not picking up after them.

Thank you for visiting. We have a few Utility Company Workers currently staying in some of our Cabins as they do Power Line work in the area. We do our best to enforce all Rules, like our Pet Rules, including All Animals leashed and supervised at all times, and cleaning up after your pets.

Great place. Clean bathrooms. Flat basketballs...please fill them up or remove flat ones so area looks cared for and we can play basketball

Woman’s bath was not clean, exhaust fans in showers didn’t work. Key cards for bathroom is a joke: lock was broken. Most sites & cabins appear occupied by long term residents. We stayed here a few years ago & it was very clean & well run. Will not stay here again.

Well maintained. Friendly staff, well stocked little store. Little golf course looked well maintained, considering it’s winter and severe drought. Very close to Avenue of the Giants. I would stay again!

Overall we love Benbow KOA. Wish the bio on the KOA app was current with days/hours propane is available to sell. We needed to purchase and the bio says available 9 am to 4 pm. No days of the week listed and on Sunday we were told no one worked on that day to fill propane.

The staff was very hospitable, starting with Justin and including his staff at the desk; especially Sheila who booked our return July. The only concern I had was the condition of the Men’s Restroom; not cleaned between 11:00 & 12:00, much-needed shower & toilet repairs. We were only here for one evening in winter so didn’t experience all amenities. Would be great during summer. Nice grounds - grass and gravel with quality hookups. Easy in and out. Very comfortable. Staff was wonderful.

This is an old run Run Down K.O .A .,very expensive for the quality. We were very disappointed Photo's are deceiving. We would never � stay there again.

We had a wonderful peaceful weekend. We had a late arrival, very late in fact. The office graciously changed our spot to a pull thru which accommodated us and the folks sleeping at midnight when we arrived. Thanks so much, we will definitely be back!

Justin and his crew was OVER THE TOP efficient kind helpful and FUN ! The area campsite office and amenities were always clean well stocked and the staff always willing to help and ask if anyone needed anything. A ROCKSTAR DESTINATION !

This KOA has so much potential, it just needs better maintenance. The pool area was very neglected, leaves everywhere and the stone work and deck need to be acid washed, golf course area should be better maintained. Also the hookups for RV's are in a poor location for anyone who is towing a vehicle. The staff were not able to look me up (I'm a rewards member) so I did not receive my discount.

Location is a bit noisy with trucks going over the nearby bridge. Also, they charge for wi-fi.

This KOA needs work, loving attention & cleanup. Trees overhanging each site haven't been pruned and come close to the roof of taller rigs. The sites were developed for smaller RVs of 30 years ago and are too narrow as are the lanes leading to the sites. The greatest problem is that sites have turned into muddy swamps, making it necessary to walk in mud to enter or leave the tow vehicle.

Thank you for the feedback. Our park is connected to the Benbow Historic Inn built in 1926, and our campground was developed by the Benbow Family in the 1960's! We are always working on site improvements, and have big plans for the next few years to expand a few sites for the very large RV's.

Great park with all the amenities except good wifi. Extra wifi strength could be purchased. Washrooms super clean and staff helpful. Sites were well kept. A very nice stop

This place is very nice. If you are a tourist traveling threw take my word as a local for 44 years. This is one of the best RV parks around this area. And it's central for all the cool stuff around. It is always clean and the grounds are always very well kept. On the east side of the park is a nice golf course (as long as we are not in a drought and they can water properly) on the west side of park is a beautiful river. Plus they have walking paths all over as well. I would highly recommend this park for just you or the hole family.

This was our second trip to this location and it won't be our last. The staff is so friendly and the property is so clean. Make sure to check out the hand made bennies and jewelry. I highly recommend this KOA!!!
