We had a wonderful peaceful weekend. We had a late arrival, very late in fact. The office graciously changed our spot to a pull thru which accommodated us and the folks sleeping at midnight when we arrived. Thanks so much, we will definitely be back!

Justin and his crew was OVER THE TOP efficient kind helpful and FUN ! The area campsite office and amenities were always clean well stocked and the staff always willing to help and ask if anyone needed anything. A ROCKSTAR DESTINATION !

This KOA has so much potential, it just needs better maintenance. The pool area was very neglected, leaves everywhere and the stone work and deck need to be acid washed, golf course area should be better maintained. Also the hookups for RV's are in a poor location for anyone who is towing a vehicle. The staff were not able to look me up (I'm a rewards member) so I did not receive my discount.

Location is a bit noisy with trucks going over the nearby bridge. Also, they charge for wi-fi.

This KOA needs work, loving attention & cleanup. Trees overhanging each site haven't been pruned and come close to the roof of taller rigs. The sites were developed for smaller RVs of 30 years ago and are too narrow as are the lanes leading to the sites. The greatest problem is that sites have turned into muddy swamps, making it necessary to walk in mud to enter or leave the tow vehicle.

Thank you for the feedback. Our park is connected to the Benbow Historic Inn built in 1926, and our campground was developed by the Benbow Family in the 1960's! We are always working on site improvements, and have big plans for the next few years to expand a few sites for the very large RV's.

Great park with all the amenities except good wifi. Extra wifi strength could be purchased. Washrooms super clean and staff helpful. Sites were well kept. A very nice stop

It would have been nice if had not been put in a spot that had deep mud puddles, the park was empty. Also why don't You ever get asked if you would like to up grade to a patio site? What makes this a Holiday KOA, they didn't even have the hot tub working. It should be listed as a journey, we saw nicer KOA's with less ratings.

Our Redwood Rainforest can be very wet in the winter. We are always happy to adjust sites at request if the one you have is not great. Our Hot Tub is open and ready during store hours 8AM-8PM, and we have towels available in the office. Though the pool is closed for the winter. I hope you can return

The campsite was nothing but thick mud and mud puddles. It was absolutely NOT worth $75/night. We called the office to explain and were told we couldn't get a discount but we could check out early or move sites. Unfortunately, the other "premium" sites were muddy as well. The dog area is small and it doesn't look like anyone takes care of it as there was dog feces everywhere. We won't be back.

Our Redwood Rainforest can be very wet in the winter. We are always happy to adjust sites at request if the one you have is not great. We do our best to clean the dog park daily, but unfortunately sometimes a dog gets in and the owner might not clean up, before our staff arrives. Hope you can return

It was just a place to spend the night. It had rained a lot & the ground was very muddy. The sites were designed a long time ago before the longer rigs. Our trailer has two doors. We could only get 1 door to fit on the cement slab. We could not have our slide out extended fully out as it was too close to the electrical post. Steve would like to come back & be the greens keeper! :)

We were just passing through. But the staff was very friendly and kind. Park is a little old. Spots were tight. Beautiful setting. We enjoyed our stay.

One night stay only 1/1/22 to 1/2/22. Pleasant stay, jacuzzi was wonderful, and the staff was nice upon registration. Thank you!

fantastic. it was the perfect place to spend new years eve. the fireworks were amazing. the koa itself well maintained with friendly staff there was great places to walk our dogs too!

From the time I came in to check in the gal finished up with a gentleman and I was standing there waiting she never even looked at me or asked if she could help me. After getting our site # we arrived at the site and someone was in it, we were then sent to another site which was surrounded in mud and was not a 50/30amp site which we always request and pay for. It was a mess after driving all day

Really disappointed as this was my first KOA stay. The bathtub had pink mold, the refrigerator smelled horrible, the heat didn’t work (and it was <30degrees, and the bbq grill was covered in green mold. Aside from that, one evening we had a red laser pointer shone into our cabin which scared my partner and I to death. Overall very disappointed for $220 p night

Great location with natural beauty all around. Friendly and helpful staff. Infrastructure maintenance issues are an obvious challenge. Hope that Justin, the new manager, can achieve his goal of getting some things fixed. Our 10th visits in the last two years. We'll be back for sure.

Our third time here in 10 years. Seems as though they may not be keeping up on things. Our power pedestal site #98 was totally missing the cover for the power plugins, not a safe thing when it is pouring rain. Seems as though the sites are smaller than before at only 55'. The young girl at the desk on Christmas night was great and very courteous!!!

Pleasant KOA experience about one-hour south of Eureka, CA. Clean bathrooms, friendly hosts. We were told the Internet connection was weak. They were correct.

Was very rainy so they assigned a site that was a swamp while other nearby spots were higher ground. Other than that the place was average.

This place is very nice. If you are a tourist traveling threw take my word as a local for 44 years. This is one of the best RV parks around this area. And it's central for all the cool stuff around. It is always clean and the grounds are always very well kept. On the east side of the park is a nice golf course (as long as we are not in a drought and they can water properly) on the west side of park is a beautiful river. Plus they have walking paths all over as well. I would highly recommend this park for just you or the hole family.

This was our second trip to this location and it won't be our last. The staff is so friendly and the property is so clean. Make sure to check out the hand made bennies and jewelry. I highly recommend this KOA!!!
