One of the nicest KOA's I've ever stayed at .

The staff is amazing here they go out of their way to help you. But the park is negleted. Leaves arent blown and the laundry room. Cobwebs on skylights leaking washers and non operational dryers. It was dirty. The grounds I bet were once stunning. But the price...omg if they arent going to pay attention to the facility the 60 a night charge? No. 35 or 40 would have been enough.

Very nice stay along a branch of the Eel River, close to the amazing Avenue of the Giants. Extremely helpful KOA staff.

We came in late with no reservation and they made us feel very welcome. We stayed in a cabin as were traveling for business and had no camping gear. Is was a nice little park model with a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. I would definitely stay there again! Oh, you might want to bring your own soap. They have the cutest teeny tiny bars I’ve ever seen. Lol

i am very tired of being told as soon upon entering building to put on a mask, and not very nicely at that , the facilities are in great cond. and it is a nice place to stay .

Our stay was wonderful as usual. The only snag was Justin.. I had made reservations many months in advance for our favorite site. I even called twice before our stay to make sure we had that spot. Justin decided to give it to someone else.. When I arrived for our 5 night stay , I was given a regular spot. We felt his actions were wrong and he had no right or reason to do so.

Stayed over Thanksgiving. Management worked hard to put our rigs (3 families) together. 2 of the 3 spots were soaked the whole time. They were kind and moved us. Looks like a leak that will need to be fixed (why there is 4 not 5 stars) Kids loved to golf and the activities. Note: there is a ‘bus’ that will take you into town if you don’t have a car. Walked to Benbow Inn and River. Will come

Room was not clean, kitchen sink was leaking, TV in bedroom did not have any clear channels to watch, bedroom dresser had broken drawer. At night we could hear something in walls, I want to say it was rats, but we didn't Physically see, noise stopped when we would get up to check. It was just too many issues. Outside was Beautiful as always. But cabins need some love and care.

It's a great mid point stop on the way to eregon staff is pleasant. Slots are a bit snug but for an extra overnighter not a problem. Only critique is that the restrooms were shut down for about 45 minutes at 9:30 in the morning. Couldn't use the shower or toilets in the morning and there are no amenities within an hour of the place.

This KOA is fantastic! Tucked next to a river and views of the nearby hills. It has a lot of amenities. We didn’t get a chance to take advantage of all them because we were busy doing other things. A full-sized golf course, general store, pool, etc. We are already planning to return with friends.

Nice site and location. Inadequate number of trash containers and subpar internet, even the paid version.

Thank you for visiting and your feedback. We are working on upgrading our WiFi System, as it can be slow here in the Redwoods. Our Four Dumpsters and Two Recycling Stations are spread throughout our Camp Ground to be convenient for our guests.

Very nice camp spots. Lots of space and grassy area. Bathrooms clean and nice. The store was well stocked and set up very nice. Benbow Inn was just a short walk. Delicious food-must do! Best Crème brûlée ever!!! Fabulous hiking just a short drive away. Richardson Grove was stunning. Would go again.

Get rid of the UNAPPROACHABLE, RUDE, DISMISSIVE, JUDGY, DISCRIMINATORY, NOT GENUINELY FRIENDLY, "MANAGER," JUSTIN,& The park would be a much more pleasant ENERGY. I had Cats, READ you were PET FRIENDLY, STAYED OVER 3 WEEKS total & LOVED the spot, NOBODY SAID ANYTHING & I EVEN PAID the extra $30 TO JUSTIN, to be a MEMBER, the last 2 WEEKS I PAID for, HE kicked me out AFTER I PAID.Ill Be CALLING.

As discussed, we cannot have animals freely roam our campground. You stated you could not keep your animals leashed or inside, after being told it was necessary. You were given much flexibility, including extremely late check out. You purchased a KOA Membership, that gives a 10% discount at KOA's.

All the staff that I encountered, from groundskeeper to check-in is very helpful and courteous. The bathroom and showers were upgraded, very eye-appealing, clean and the water was hot with good pressure. The store had last-minute necessities. Make sure the check out the Benbow Inn. Thanks. Would stay again. Highly recommend.

Our stay was November first so it rained when we checked in and rained when we checked out but the weather in between was warm and dry. This was our first time at Benbow KOA. We appreciated the paved roads and concrete pads, especially during the heavy rains. There were a couple of complaints. The basketball court had four basketballs and all were flat. The gutters were backing up in the rain

We stayed here last year and felt much more welcoming. Nice welcome when we arrived but next day I went in to ask question and got a very unhelpful response; lady behind me received same type response Made you feel like you were bothering her. Checking ouI went in office and guy was very welcoming and friendly. Told about a rotting pumpkin on our table was there before we arrived he was thankful

We have stayed here a few times when traveling to Petaluma area. Staff always helpful and friendly. Have camped in 22’ camper van using back in sites as well as pull through. Some back in sites have an uneven patio area otherwise no problem. Used the pool and hot tub area which have always been clean and very enjoyable. Good selection of food and souvenirs in store.

We enjoyed ourselfs..the new staff is working hard to get it back up to standerd. The managers and all the employees were so helpful and nice.we will stay again in the future and hope others will go and enjoy this place..

Uncovered pedestal with exposed sprinkler wiring and no cover over rv connections in the rain. Huge rotting pumpkin on the picnic table on Halloween. Empty water bottle not picked up and mud, mud, mud.

55' Pull Thru Patio site. Easy enough to get in. Not so much getting out. Fortunately the park was not full - most CORNER sites occupied w/ tow vehicles parked cross ways etc., we had to traverse through two rows (drive through the two sites in front of us) in order to be able to make the turn to get back on main road to exit the park.

Very nice, clean facility with level spaces. Convenient to freeway. Very expensive, though, especially when WiFi costs extra. Out of five men's showers, two were Out of Order, two had no seats, only one was fully functional.

Had a great time. Even in the rain. Lots of space between sites.Stayed in a RV site and also rented a cabin which we could see they are trying to up date them. Staff is very friendly and are improving the campground to make it look good again. Thanks again

Alas the weather didn’t cooperate but the location is amazing and the camp was well maintained. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and definitely a major plus for this KOA. - The facilities that were (seasonally) open were good and always clean. In fact the only issue that stops a 5 star was very poor/ non WiFI except in office/laundry.

It can be rainy rainy here in our Humboldt Redwood Forest, but if you pack a nice raincoat can be a magical time in the Redwoods! Our WiFi Network is currently undergoing a significant upgrade to enable our guests a stronger connection here at the Benbow KOA, this should be completed soon!

We like KOA’s for convenience, they always seem to be able to accommodate a stay, even on short notice, and I am partial to full hookups. The Benbow KOA is located on the Eel River and is surrounded by magical Redwoods. The park was maybe a quarter full, mostly long stays (more so in the cabins). This said, we were given a spot right next to another RV. Sites are short.

Very nice desk staff. Facility is dominated by cabins, which is welcome and unusual for most KOA's. It appears that most of the cabins are occupied by long term stays, which is also unusual for KOA branded facilities. Fixits: loud heater, missing & poorly stocked dishware, outdated lighting, loud rain drip on AC unit (needs roof awning or overhang).

This place is very nice. If you are a tourist traveling threw take my word as a local for 44 years. This is one of the best RV parks around this area. And it's central for all the cool stuff around. It is always clean and the grounds are always very well kept. On the east side of the park is a nice golf course (as long as we are not in a drought and they can water properly) on the west side of park is a beautiful river. Plus they have walking paths all over as well. I would highly recommend this park for just you or the hole family.

This was our second trip to this location and it won't be our last. The staff is so friendly and the property is so clean. Make sure to check out the hand made bennies and jewelry. I highly recommend this KOA!!!
