The staff was really helpful and very present! (easy to find if needed). It was clean and easy to get around! It would be nice if we didn't have to have a card to get into the bathrooms. We only got one card and were worried we would missplace it. A code would work better.

We arrived on September 6 which was the evening of Labor Day. First was quoted $110. I was shocked. She then dropped it to $75 which I still thought was high. Expecting in the range of $60 to $65 per night. The next morning we went to use the shower/restrooms. Found out we needed a pass card to get in & we hadn’t been given any. Called office & they came down & opened them for us. No toilet pap

Arriving at this KOA after staying at one in Bandon Oregon we were expecting A very clean friendly spot like Bandon. It was opposite. The cabins Had old mattresses outside the doors on the porch. It felt more like a very run down neighborhood instead of what was suppose to be a very clean fun camping experience. While the staff was friendly I will more than likely never stay at this koa again.

First and foremost, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Good customer service. . Really lacked maintenance, broken light poles and power box covers needed to be fixed and the bathrooms and showers were not as clean as I would hope. Otherwise, we had a good 2-night stay.

Stayed in a back in Rv site. Site was level however the picnic table area was all uneven with cracked concrete making it difficult to place a chair level. Nice site otherwise. Very pleasant staff, the pool and hot tub were clean and good temperature. We did not use bathroom facilities.

NEEDS WATER. For the price you pay you should get green grass at your site. Golf Course is less than desirable.

Lack of wi-fi is a concern. Very pricey offer the holidays. But we have stayed there four times over the years.

I’d give this park a 5 rating but the AC didn’t work properly. 30 amp circuit seemed to have an issue and microwave or AC didn’t work. 29 amp circuit read 49v. Only there for one night so just used battery power. Nice park, reasonably spaced site, no wireless to speak of.

This is a very nice RV park. We have stayed there many times and we like the premium sites because they are on the end of the row, and have outdoor furniture and a fire ring. Room for improvement Why only 4 of 5 stars? The furniture is showing significant wear. Most sites are missing one or more items. Time for new furniture. Also the cable TV needs a tune up. Reception used to be better

Just an overnight on our way through Redwoods country. While staff were friendly, we had a question regarding our cable hookup. Staff indicated that maintenance would respond, but no one appeared. Restrooms were clean, but inadequate number of showers and stalls for the size the park. WiFi was not free. I assume that the “golf” course was in the terrible condition because dry conditions.

Great location, nice facilities! Unfortunately, our assigned spot was taken when we arrived late, and the after hours number was not answering. Other than that, great place!

This KOA is ok for an overnight stay as long as your not determined your stop here by the pictures. The golf course is brown. And when it says there is wifi, most people would expect that to mean in the campground, not having to go into the store/office to use it.

Friendly staff, power, water, cable all working perfectly. We did find some debris in our site. Just didn't seem as tidy as the other KOA's we have stayed. It was pretty quiet, small amount of road noise but nothing major. I really do notice the difference from the different tiers of KOA's, I think I much prefer the resort option.

First class customer service from camp hosts Don and Ann. We had a reservation for a 4 day stay when just 40 miles away from the resort our tow vehicle broke down, and had our travel trailer towed to our site. We needed to add extra days to our reservation. During this stressful situation, Ann and Don went above and beyond to find a site for us to stay until our vehicle was repaired. Thank you

We just had a family reunion there with 5 rigs. 3 of us had to move cuz of no water and electricity, after we just got set up. Golfing was terrible. Dry as toast. Wifi wasn't working good. The employees were very kind. It isn't their fault. It's the management's fault. We would not recommend to people to stay there. Sad to say that. We have been going there for lots of years.

Great check-in experience and friendly, helpful staff. Good full-hookup site, allowed personal fire ring, which was wonderful! Convenient location and good access to the Benbow Inn (campers are allowed to make reservations at the Inn's restaurant, which is otherwise only open to hotel guests at this time).

A convenient location near the Avenue of the Giants and lovely California State Parks for hiking and picnicing, but the campground is situated below 101 so it is very noisy. Facilities were very old and poorly maintained. We were told that the campground will be undergoing a major renovation - we just hope that includes the restrooms and pool and the existing trees are retained and more planted.

Benbow Campground used to be one of the most beautiful campgrounds on the California Coast—not anymore! The campground wasn’t that clean. One positive was the path to the Benbow Inn where we had a delicious dinner!

I found the Ben Bow experience relaxing. The campground staff was wonderfully nice and courteous. My wife and I enjoy the stay when we travel the 101 corridor. What is one of the best things is the closeness to great natural resources, redwoods, rivers, the lost coast, what a pleasant venture.

We did not enjoy, mostly bad luck, not a nice site. The park is nicer than the part we were at. If we could have arrived earlier, we would have driven around and picked a better one. Be selective and enjoy.

This place is old and does not have hookups for bigger campers. Short on staff broken water line running through park. Had to sweep broken glass from my site before I could drive in. The write up in KOA guide is nothing like the park. The price for was to expensive for what they have highest price I paid for my entire trip from indiana to California and back. Alot of KOAs are living off the KOA

This place is very nice. If you are a tourist traveling threw take my word as a local for 44 years. This is one of the best RV parks around this area. And it's central for all the cool stuff around. It is always clean and the grounds are always very well kept. On the east side of the park is a nice golf course (as long as we are not in a drought and they can water properly) on the west side of park is a beautiful river. Plus they have walking paths all over as well. I would highly recommend this park for just you or the hole family.

This was our second trip to this location and it won't be our last. The staff is so friendly and the property is so clean. Make sure to check out the hand made bennies and jewelry. I highly recommend this KOA!!!
