Staff is very friendly and park is clean. Pool was clean and a typical KOA type pool. Lots were reasonably close together and no fire rings or outdoor grills. However, gave a 4/above average score due to the friendly staff and the close proximity to downtown, grocery shopping, tourist sites, etc.

Facilities were fine, on par with a typical KOA Journey. Staff could be more customer friendly. They did not engage in any conversation strictly business exchange.

Already being in close proximity, the crushed/graded stone driveways are relatively noisy as vehicles enter and depart. Someone drove by at 5:00 am which woke us for the day.

Sites are very small basically on top of your neighbor and very close to the main road we could hear traffic from our site. The play ground consists of a merry go round and monkey bars. No fire pits. Bathrooms were ok laundry was only open until 8. The pool was nice but small. Luckily we were only booked for one night. We wouldn’t come back.

My family and I got in around 11:00 pm (late) and it was a heavy downpour with lightning. I Started to set up our travel trailer and we heard a knock on the door. A man , who’s name I found out later was Felix, was asking me if I needed help setting up! (Did I mention it was lightning and raining really hard). Thanks to the female manager who stays onsite as well. Very helpful!

We stayed in a Camping Cabin and it was perfect! Very clean! It was well worth the drive up from Florida.

Perfect space and we would have loved to stay longer. Just wish the pool was warmer. Other than that we had absolutely no complaints. We would love to stay here again.

Friendly staff, good facility. I would suggest a flag on the gate, the gates are tan and easy to miss.

Had one 1 quick overnight. Easy reservation. Good directions to campground. Clean!! Owner was on phone when we checked out, making special arrangements for a repeat camper. Very accommodating. All personnel were pleasant. Quiet, easy in and out. We enjoyed our quick sojourn. Thanks!

We needed an overnight stopover on our way to Minnesota. The website showed no availability, but I called and Kyle helped us get a reservation in the overflow areal What a relief! Then the next day he called us on the road and said there was a availability for a better site out of the wind and under some trees. After a long travel day Kyle greeted us at the office and guided us to our site.

Great campground. Lots of trees/shade. Roomy campsites. Clean & quiet yet right next to all the stores & services needed. Great place.

Had a wonderful stay. How the sites are set up make it seem private because of shrubs on both sides of the site. Staff very nice and helpful.

Internet did not work for the two days we were there. So bring your own Jetpack. Bathrooms and showers were very clean and well stocked. Not allot of grass for my furry friend.

The KOA in Bismarck, ND, has always been a fantastic campground. The owners are present on site and run a very busy operation, while giving each person the experience that they are the only camper there. The grounds a very well maintained, no trash hanging around etc.. The sites are plenty large, with mature trees giving a nice outdoor feeling. The onsite pool is crystal clear.

Only stayed one night but it seemed neat and clean. Not sure why there were no fire rings at any of the sites but we wouldn’t have used it anyway. Overall a good experiences.

Stayed one night on the way home from Montana. As we were setting up a hose blew on our stabilizer jack. Mark (The campground owner) helped figure out how to fix it and loaned me the tools to get it done. Extremely helpful in a tough situation!

We were disappointed no fire rings, no grassy areas (very dried out grass around site and play area, etc.). Play area equipment seriously outdated as far as “safety “. Bathrooms and pool were very clean. Nice hot showers.

Great KOA, and apparently the only one in North Dakota. Most spots are nicely shaded, with shrubs providing privacy between sites. Bismarck appears to be expanding on this side of town, so there is a lot of new development, and it seems this place is on the market as well. At any rate, a very nice stopover. We will be back if we are ever in the area and this place is still there! Thanks again.

We only stayed one night stay at this nice KOA. We had a reservation for a pull trough spot. The reservation was for a site where the services are located towards the back of the site. The site manager looked at our RV and immediately went back to the office to change our site to a better suited, easy pull-in and service locations site, for our one night stay. Great customer service.

Okay, so the campground is very nice. The cabin is clean and well maintained, staff is friendly and helpful, BUT... the instant I arrived, a lady (some crazy guest I presume) blocked my way to the bathroom and asked if I was staying all weekend (I had never seen or met her before in my life). She went on some rant about not wanting to see my face around and some other rude things. I reported her to management and was assured that they would speak to her and that she wouldn't bother me again. Apparently her name is Crystal. It sounds like she might be a regular, and it seems that she's caused issues before. I didn't want to rate the KOA poorly because of one unhinged guest, but I did want to give people a heads up since she was aggressive and incredibly rude. Bismarck is pretty cute otherwise and seems nice to stay in as long as you don't run into Crystal. Safe travels, folks. ✌🏼
