I previously didn't realize KOA had different levels of campgrounds. I won't stay at Journey KOAs again unless it's just a one night stay on the way to elsewhere. This place had too tight sites and minimal grass. Staff was friendly and helpful which raised my rating a bit.

Camp itself was fine. Office personnel were professional & courteous. Unfortunately the night we stayed had wind gusts of up to 70 mph. We honestly thought we would be blown over. No sleep for us. Don’t know how often this happens in this part of the country but not anything we want to experience again.

Are back in site seem to kind of narrow. If we had had pullouts we would have been pretty close to our neighbors. But the people seemed very nice and overall the campground seemed very well maintained.

Best KOA (of the 3) we stayed at on our vacation. Friendly host who was knowledgeable of the area. Campground was very clean. Also, had the best mattresses of the 3 we stayed at. Definitely would stay again.

Staying during Covid came with chases, the changes were fine. We were not able to have access to the shower house since we were traveling in our camper. We do normally use the shower house just because they are roomier but it was fine. We had to reserve the pool each day for our family to use so that took a little planning as to what time we wanted to use it. The pool was amazing

We had a great stay. Great spot. Friendly check in. Enjoyed the pool to our selves. This was our second stay here and we really enjoyed it.

On your large RV pull thru sites, if you add a further sewer hook up at least half way down the site that would be great... Cant reach the sewer at the end of the site when you are still hooked up to your toad. Otherwise, great place!!

This is a good place to stop over and probably the best in Bismarck but nothing to write home about. Our site was plenty long enough but we were squeezed in between 2 rows of buses that literally hit the slides when they were put out. Barely any room to sit outside your rig. I get the idea of the rows of bushes for privacy but I'd think you could keep them trimmed.

My boys and I go to the Bismarck KOA every year a couple times because the owner is such a cool guy and it is a great spot. It was my son's birthday this time we were up there, so he let us the pool for an extra half hour to celebrate!! We even got to try their cool banana bikes!! We always have a great time and he always goes out of his way to help people camping there! Checkout their cabins!

This was by far the best KOA I've stayed at. It was quiet with lots of trees and shade. The bathrooms were very nice and the staff was very helpful and nice. We didn't use the pool, but it looked very nice as well. Will definitely stay here next time I'm in the area.

I made a reservation for North Carolina instead of North Dakota when I got to the campground they fixed it found me a site had my money refunded from North Carolina they were great thank you

Site #11 was very spacious and comfortable. The water was shut off for short periods during the day for some unknown reason. Mgmt failed to mention it at check-in and there was no follow-up communication with park campers. Follow-ups

Okay, so the campground is very nice. The cabin is clean and well maintained, staff is friendly and helpful, BUT... the instant I arrived, a lady (some crazy guest I presume) blocked my way to the bathroom and asked if I was staying all weekend (I had never seen or met her before in my life). She went on some rant about not wanting to see my face around and some other rude things. I reported her to management and was assured that they would speak to her and that she wouldn't bother me again. Apparently her name is Crystal. It sounds like she might be a regular, and it seems that she's caused issues before. I didn't want to rate the KOA poorly because of one unhinged guest, but I did want to give people a heads up since she was aggressive and incredibly rude. Bismarck is pretty cute otherwise and seems nice to stay in as long as you don't run into Crystal. Safe travels, folks. ✌🏼
