Mark and Kay are great hosts. It’s a very well run campground —clean, organized, and accessible. Most sites are level.

Very friendly check in. Nice sites. Didn’t stay long enough to use facilities. Many many many barking dogs. High school football game going on so bears the band/cheering which was nostalgic at first �

Enjoyed having the screening bushes between the sites. Excellent staff to assist parking & answer questions. Very well kept. We will definitely stay again.

Cleanliness of bathrooms and showers at all hours was incredible! Great location. Nice pool and very dog friendly. Highly recommended.

Family owned - Dad Mark is great about working us in so we can stay while we visit our family. Usually we don’t know when we can arrive and we work together- we’re willing to move if necessary- and Mark takes the time to put it all together. And, the pool has a heater!

Staying at the Bismarck KOA was a highlight of our two week road trip! The folks that run the campground are incredibly helpful! Mark went out of his way to help us when we had some car problems, as well as going above and beyond to set us up with firewood and ice for the night. I cannot say enough good things about our wonderful stay at Bismarck KOA. We will definitely be back!

I inadvertently put in the date prior to our actual stay while booking online. The young man at the desk was gracious enough to find a spot for us anyway. I am grateful and feel pretty dumb for doing this. First time this has happened to me BTW. Just a side note. The confirmation email that I received the next day after booking had NO date on it. An included date could have stopped this.

KOA Journey is a great campground! The staff is friendly and helpful, you have access to all the facilities you need, and the location is centrally located and clean. I highly recommend!

Everything worked- it was located in a good location from Bismarck and the interstate. The appearance was clean and well kept. The owners were very nice and helpful. If back in this area I would book it again.

Wide, level spots with gravel, nice grass, and trees appropriately trimmed to nit damage an RV with low-hanging branches. Quiet and pleasant. We would stay here again!

The owner and employees are very accommodating and helpful. Easy location off the interstate. Good wifi and Verizon signal. We were in site 78, a back in that we think is one of the best back in sites they have. Nice little trail to walk your dog. Didn’t use any facilities.

This is my second time staying at this KOA. I love the large mature trees that the Bismark KOA offers. The sites are nicely spaced and mostly level. There is very little road noise plus it is close to the interstate if that is the way you are traveling. The only recommendation I have is the dog park could use some TLC.

Beautiful campground. Very accommodating staff. I made a mistake in my reservations. I reserved on the wrong date. Arrived at the campground and realized my error. A very busy weekend but they found a spot for us to camp for the night. A very nice campsite I might add. Can’t say enough good things about this campground. Thanks guys.

Nice clean campgrounds with very nice sites for you to park. However, the road noise is more than we liked and made it difficult for us to sleep.

Okay, so the campground is very nice. The cabin is clean and well maintained, staff is friendly and helpful, BUT... the instant I arrived, a lady (some crazy guest I presume) blocked my way to the bathroom and asked if I was staying all weekend (I had never seen or met her before in my life). She went on some rant about not wanting to see my face around and some other rude things. I reported her to management and was assured that they would speak to her and that she wouldn't bother me again. Apparently her name is Crystal. It sounds like she might be a regular, and it seems that she's caused issues before. I didn't want to rate the KOA poorly because of one unhinged guest, but I did want to give people a heads up since she was aggressive and incredibly rude. Bismarck is pretty cute otherwise and seems nice to stay in as long as you don't run into Crystal. Safe travels, folks. ✌🏼
