Love this campground. And I am sure we will Return. The time we were there was hot and we were really looking forward to using the pool. When we arrived we noticed that the pool was out of commission. We would have appreciated a call before our stay to let us know one of there main amenities was not available.

Very nice clean park but with 95 degree weather and NO POOL we would have looked for another place to stay. After riding our motorcycle all day we like to jump in to a pool. If they get their pool fixed we would defiantly stay there again. They should have let campers know about their broken pool

We stayed here 5 nights and this KOA is immaculate! New owners and they are already making lots of improvements. The staff are very friendly, helpful and keeping the grounds perfect even on Sunday! The only recommendation we have is to the Bath Houses and the dial to turn on the shower. It was HOT! I wish I could have turned a knob for a cooler shower. It was 95 outside! Over all very nice!

Beautiful park with nice level spots - easy in and easy out. It was a great location to visit the Corvette Museum, Mammoth Cave, Lost River Cave, and Chaney's Dairy. It's also only about 80 miles to Maker's Mark - which was well worth the beautiful drive. Lot's of improvements are being made to the park. We would stay again.

Very enjoyable, wish the pool was open. The only thing I would recommend is a cleaning of the mini golf course.

Ladies bathhouse: can't adjust temp of shower water, AC unit stopped working so became very humid, water condenses on ceiling and drops on you during shower. Sites are way too close together, too crowded Admin/store - closes too early in day (6 pm) Did like the giant checker board, mini golf, jump pad, nice grounds to get my walk in. hopefully pool will be open soon

This campsite is AMAZING! Very clean, staff is friendly. The only thing that was disappointing, the pool was closed due to mechanical issues, but they tried with having a slip and slide for the kids. The cabin door lock wasn't easy to open, but the cabin was very comfortable! Will stay again! :)

For a Holiday KOA, we expected a bit more usable amenities, such as the pool, cable, and a better Wifi signal at the back of the campground. The staff was very pleasant.

Very nice facility with friendly staff. Our pull through sight was easy entry and exit, tree covered, patio, spacious. Great location for us. Would have stayed longer if they had an opening for more than 2 nights. Book early if you want to stay here in June. Would definitely stay here again, possibly this fall or next spring.

They were able to get us a spot on short notice and even though we were in the back closer to expressway, the noise from the road was minimal. Will definitely be back! Great people, great service and very clean.

We stayed in a two room cabin with no bathroom. It was actually very roomy. The shower facilities and bathroom were close by and clean. The mattresses are very basic and make noise when you move around. The air conditioner didn't really do it's job until after we settled in to sleep. I would have no complaints for half the price. It was nearly as much as a hotel room. KOA is getting too expensive.

The campground is improving, however the fact that there is no wifi and no pool should reflect in the cost to stay. Until these improvements are made I will probably look to camp elsewhere.

I like the campground but your rates are very high I paid 67.50 for a site that doesn't have cable even when it was shown in the koa book. People were nice I just think you are overpriced

The current owners are working to upgrade this KOA. I saw discussions with general contractors to provide services. Many nice new fire pits. The cabins seem to be updated. Many cabins seem to have new grills (I did not stay in a cabin). The grounds are kept clean and tidy. I tend to prefer staying at state or national parks; my brother chose this KOA for our visit. That said, this was an OK place.

Stayed here for 4 days in one of the tent sites. The site was large & well kept. The showers/restrooms were clean with hot showers. Plenty of activities for guests to enjoy as well as being pet & kid friendly. The new owners/staff are very outgoing & friendly. They were always available to answer questions & provide any assistance for their guests. Very happy with my stay & will stay again.

Positive: Quiet, family-friendly, great games/activities offered, close to stores/attractions, pet-friendly, variety of sites offered, nice staff, convenience store on site has a little bit of everything. Negative: Fishing in catch & release lake is a waste of time. Fish won't bite even witha variety of bait. Pool closed for summer due to construction/plumbing issues, mini golf needs updating.

Campground was nice. Our site was very shady and had a very nice patio. The playground is very nice. The the biggest disappointment was that the website says the pool opened Memorial Day weekend, which it did not. The pool is under renovation and does not look to be ready any time soon. Our kiddos were very disappointed. They should put a notification on their website.

I was very disappointed. When me and my seven year d son got there the first thing he wanted to do was go to the pool. Unfortunately, it was closed. I picked this camp ground because of the pool and mini golf on site. The mini golf was open but it had goose poop, sticks and debris all over it and it was in desperate need of some cleaning and maintenance. My son did enjoy playing but it was bad.

All the ladies at the office are super helpful and kind. The head groundskeeper, John, was extremely helpful and instrumental in getting me to stay and camp. I had never been to a KOA before so I didn’t know where to set up. I was about to leave, but he helped me find a spot for a night and I ended up staying for a week plus. His people skills set him apart. The employees really make the place!

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. The sites were very clean and level and the patios were a nice addition. The facilities were clean and well supplied. We will definitely stay again.

Beautiful grounds, lovely cabins, the shower and bathroom building we’re running out of paper products and had water standing around the showers. It was Memorial Day weekend, and the park was full. I understand that! It would have been fantastic to see extra bathroom checks and the pool open on Memorial Day weekend! Our kids loved the mini golf course!

Our patio site was nice and clean, but it backs up to a street leading to a maintenance building. There was constant noise from golf carts loaded with tools going up and down that road. The speed bump behind our site made it worse. Not relaxing! The first night someone came home to their site at 3 AM. But the dog groomer on the premises was a nice surprise. The lady did a good job with our dog!

Campsite was nice, but not level. Chairs and table were at site, but covered in bird droppings. Water faucet needs repair. View of I-65 was nice, but very noisy. Was an OK spot at $25, but for the $56 charged, with discount, was way overpriced. Second KOA this year that was disappointing. If I haven’t driven over 500 miles that day, I would have passed on by. Check in lady was pleasant.

This KOA is under new ownership/management and they are putting forth a grand effort revitalizing and improving this park. We stayed a week over Memorial Day time frame. The crew installed a new volleyball court along with cornhole games and water slides just in time for the weekend guests. Freeway is close but roadway noise quieted down enough to sleep. We will come back when in the area.

Stopped here to dewinterize our rig before heading out west in January 2022. We would definitely come back. If you have a family this park is your place. A ton of stuff for kids to do. Huge trampoline at ground level so they can't fall off. The dog park was a hit for our GSDs. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Store is well stocked and clean. Sites were really nice with the elite sites having their own patio furniture. They're redoing the pool so that will be a plus. I can see why they win KOA presidents awards. We will be back!!
