We stayed in site 25, i would not recommend site 25 until the pavement is fixed it made parking the trailer a challenge with the roots buckling the pavement. We had to park too far back to use the sewer hook up because of the buckled pavement. The site might be ok for a smaller 16 foot trailer anything larger you should avoid site 25.

Professional stay/ working in the area: I was assaulted by an unknown person on several occasions before complaining to the front desk. This person had screamed in my face about some sweaters and a laundry basket that were outside of my rv (during the day). I had been in a rollover vehicle accident the previous week and am already physically handicapped. I was evicted without warning. #Disgusted

Boyer is the most well maintained campground we have been too, well done to that whole crew and thank you.

We had a wonderful time! Great weather, beautiful scenery, kind and helpful staff. We made reservations to come back in the fall, and would recommend it our friends.

Would have been 5 stars, but I was more than mildly annoyed over a situation that happened. Staying in a tent site, the keepers are running a sprinkler in the near by area. We leave for the day and come back to said sprinkler having been moved right next to our tent. It was getting hot put so all windows had been left open at the top. The wind started blowing and the sprinkler got the inside wet.

The campground and facilities were great and enjoyable. We noticed that the campground manager let her dog run loose outside, so there was virtually no enforcement of dogs on a leash in the campground, with a few dogs running loose at any one time, and a few piles of dog feces here and there. It's a great campground, but dogs belong on a leash or they will need to hire people to pick up dog poo

Great park with the nicest people! Already booked for the next time!!

It was great. Mike really tried hard to fix the A/C in our camping cabin and when he couldn't he moved us to BASS right away. Already recommended to half a dozen coworkers. Cheers, Arthur

It was great but you can't rent bicycles until May for some reason. We will return.

It was awesome!

Advertised as having Wi-Fi, however as more people started to arrive Friday, it diminished to nothing for the weekend

Another great weekend on the Snake. Mike and Monica are the best. Go way above to make your stay with them great. Recommend highly!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms were clean. The wifi and cell coverage is very spotty so don't expect hi-tech to work too well. The scenery is breathtaking though and we really enjoyed the night sky without city lights.

Really enjoyed the cabin. If you can somewhere please add information about the interior: heat, microwave and fridge. I could not find that information anywhere.

Made the error of using Google Maps and got lost. Apparently this is a common mistake. If so common, signage should be added on Hwy 26 for KOA and not to use Penawana Rd. Especially with no cell service, as could be very dangerous for large RVs and those unfamiliar with area. We only made it with the help of nice locals. Limited Office Hours also made communication difficult. Park itself was nice.

Clean park, friendly staff, well maintained. Camping spots are well spaced out. We were in the area to tour Pullman and WSU over spring break. Campus is an easy 35 minute drive from the park. Beautiful views right on the river in the canyon. Lower granite dam is about 1/2 mile away. Look forward to coming back in the summer and trying out more of the amenities - rental equipment, etc.

Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful for our April stay. Pirate ship for the kids, fishing, paved paths to bike, friendly staff. Loved everything about our stay.

The view across the Snake River and up the opposing undeveloped bluff is soothing and restful. This is a lovely location with a hard working staff. It is extra wonderful having four hotel rooms on-site where our adult children and grandchildren may join us camping in comfort. I already have additional reservations.

Great place to rest and relax as a family! Be aware that there are thorns on the trail that can pop a bike tire or hurt your dogs paw. The playground is one of my kids favorite and the beach/swimming area is wonderful. It was a 65° Spring day and in true Washingtonian fashion we played in the water!

The park is beautiful and well maintained. The park owner assisted us with an RV repair. We are very thankful for his kindness. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the river and the park. My husband and I are essential workers and we were looking for a place for rest and relaxation. Your tranquil park provided that for us. Thank you again.

Check in was a breeze even though I needed an extended stay during the off season. As always the grounds and restrooms were in great condition. I wish I could stay here more often!

Boyer Park KOA was our first camping trip ever with our new trailer. Mike, the caretaker (Squirrel), was super friendly and helpful. That made us feel better knowing that we had help close by since we were new at the whole camping thing! We will be back for sure. My husband works from home and needs cell service or we would come more often!

Beautiful setting. Awesome sites. My wife’s new favorite KOA!

Hooray. All breeding geese left campsites because of the intermittent tree grinding noises. It was wonderful having the geese further up and down river and not depositing throughout camp. Great visit!!

Our stay was just great. It is such a beautiful location. The park is well maintained and since it is still early in the year not a lot of activity going on. We hope to return soon.

Sad to see all the beautiful trees cut down. I have been going to this campground my whole life. They’ve ruined the shade and beauty.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

There are still a lot of trees and will provide shade when they are in the summer season. For the safety of our campers the old trees have to go. Coming all your life, you know how windy it can get. There will be new trees planted in the fall.

The bathrooms definitely need to be updated, but the campground was clean and the river was beautiful. We visited the first weekend of March (off season), so it was peaceful and quiet! There's a 4-mile walking trail that runs along the river, and we really enjoyed that.

Beautiful location. Sites are well maintained. However Verizon cell service is almost nil and Wi-Fi was spotty at best even with the campground mostly empty. Website and welcome email indicated store and restaurant hours so the assumption was they would be open, but they were both closed for the winter. Unless you have a boat there is not much to do nearby but the walking trail is nice.

Camping in the winter at Boyer Park KOA! Thank you for staying open. Why spend a weekend at home when you can enjoy your RV year round.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We sure love having you and your family come stay with us!

Camp in the winter! Boyer KOA is open and is terrific. Electric, water and sewer all up and running. Awesome winter camping.

Mike and Monica, the owners, have transformed this place to a First Class park. Clean, maintained, and always a joy to stay. Open all year! We enjoyed a late November stay!

We're a retired professional couple who travel extensively in our trailer, and Boyer Park is one of the most peaceful and best kept campgrounds we've ever visited. Situated on a bench along the Snake River, this site has been a refuge for travelers for several generations. The northern section is our favorite, with widely-spaced sites shaded by huge cottonwood and black locust trees. The surrounding Palouse is nationally known as a photographic destination, with its spring canola fields, rolling hills, and quaint barns. There is a small and very safe beach, as well as a paved river trail. The river has a slow current of about 2mph in summer and is safe for kayaks; suggest hugging the bank where the current is slower going upstream. It's possible to hook a 500 lb sturgeon here, fish quietly for catfish from the dock, or just read a book. There are miles of farm roads to explore, with new vistas over every hill. Be careful on the smaller, ungravelled roads in wet weather, as the lovely, rich windblown soil can quickly turn slick and unpassable. Mike and Monica work tirelessly to keep things spotless, and are polite but firm on noise, bad behavior, unruly pets, mess, and drunkenness - which I suspect accounts for the few bad reviews. ALSO - wonderful pizza and burgers at the restaurant!

First off new owners, the park was closed for a while. What a great place to camp and play on the river. The park is lush and green with lots of old growth trees. Spotless bathrooms. Water pressure is awesome. The people who work there are so helpful and nice. We didn't get to eat at the restaurant, so no reviews on that. Over all it was a great week and would recommend it to everyone.

It's tough having a place this nice close to home! 35 mile drive it is easy to plan low use times to organize for a travel season. It's about a scenic 2000' elevation drop from the Palouse to the Snake. Boyer weather is always 10*F warmer and drier than surrounding Palouse. The sites have large trees and large grass areas, fire pits, picnic tables, exceptional restrooms with showers and laundry, RV, camping, cabins and a small but very complete store. Service is efficient and good. Prices normal. River frontage, marina make it perfect for travelers, campers or anglers. Something for everyone. Paved 1.5 mile walk (one-way) takes you along river to observation point to Lower Granite dam, spillway and locks. Unique experience to watch grain barges or the American Empress navigate the locks.
