It was a beautiful park, and my family and I will definitely be back again

Park is very nice But I guess when you book a specific site your not guaranteed that site if someone else wants it...…….When booking there triple check that they don't give your site away to someone who is complaining they are in the sun!!!!!!!!

We have been going to Boyer Park for years and this was the first time we had issues. We booked a site next to our friends and their spot was given to someone else because it was assumed that we didn't care if we were next to each other. When you book a site and put a deposit down, you should get that site.

Was a very good site but now it is a great site; a hidden gem.

Hard to find a flaw. play ground could be bigger. And the soap dispensers in the bath house near the playground didn't work very well.I'd also remove the latch on the bath house door. In times of covid, I don't want to grab that handle and turn it. Plus it was worn out so a small child can't turn it at all.

Mike and Monica are very nice and great at keeping things clean and relaxing. This is our go to place gor camping.

Driving across the Palouse in June is so beautiful. The park was lovely and well cared for and the hosts were very nice. The little gift shop is very cute and they have a well stocked camp grocery. Went out in the boat fishing and saw 2 mink and lots of geese and pelicans. There were 2 moose near the dam when we crossed it going home! Thanks for the pleasant stay.

All the workers are super nice and helpful! The tent sits are great size and the beach is a nice place to hang out at.

I wasn't able to stay due to a family emergency but I have been to the park many times for day use and it is beautiful and well appointed. The tent sites are cute but the cabins and RV sites are your best bet for an enjoyable stay.

Nice location for biking and boating. Surroundings are peaceful but the park attracts families so be prepared to enjoy a noisy evening. Park is almost 30 road miles south of the town of Colfax. Address is misleading. https://twitter.com/jerrydunleavy/status/1272199005653667850?s=2

Overall, a great camping experience in spite of the weather one day (it was rainy and windy nearly a whole day). We had never been here before and we weren't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. Campground was clean and well-maintained. It was complete with a grassy RV area, marina, playground, facilities, store, swimming area and a walking/biking trail. Will return!

Beautiful setting. Good hookups. Biggest negatives: little cellphone coverage and poor Wi-Fi. Long drive to other hiking or town.

We had a wonderful stay! Your location is a little remote, but very nice. Only improvement I thought was possible was to locate a trash can next to the dump station.

The campground was very clean with good shade trees next to a nice walking path by the river. Our campground host and staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Clean, well spaced sites, excellent hook ups. Great crowd, families, retirees, just normal people wanting a good experience. Will return many times.

I really liked being there Monday-Friday. It was a lot less crowded and much quieter. There were some standing water issues at my RV site #25 that did not go away after five days. Maybe a ground leak? It was more than rain or sprinkler water. The park is very well maintained - almost too well with lawn mowing going all day every day. The RV sites are well spaced with lots of grass.

Great staff. Very nice park.

Clean, quiet. Safe and relaxing. Kids were about to fish off the docks, and even though it was too cold to swim there were bike trails and it was very kid friendly.

A really great park, marina, campground. So clean and fresh, in a beautiful location.

The camp, services available, and customer service is fantastic. We did leave earlier than planned due to the wind gusts. In the future I would recommend planning for inside activities and bringing breakfast just encase the weather is bad. On the other hand, we're looking forward to more weekends at the KOA and hoping to rent a paddle boat and bikes. I'm also going to try the veggie burger!

We had a very delightful stay. Everybody was very friendly and nice. Took two of our grandkids and they had a great time at the swimming hole although the water was cold. The people were very nice and very accommodating. Everybody respected our distancing and and we had no issues with other campers. Would recommend it again was a great place to relax although the weather wasn’t the greatest.

We arrived on Wednesday and stayed til Saturday. The grounds were clean and the staff was always cleaning up or making sure guests were taken care of. Mike and Monica are “great” and very helpful. If you want a night away from cooking try out their food! We will be back!!

We had a wonderful stay in a cabin at the park! The kids loved the water and playground while Mom and Dad enjoyed the campfire and the views. Highly recommend!

Very clean and well maintained campground.

Their cauliflower crust pizza was a real treat. Large grassy spaces between rigs allowed for easy social distancing.

Beautiful as always & very well maintained. Best ever since we’ve been going there for over 30 years!

Beautiful campground right on the river! Very clean! Big lots with lots of space. Owners are very nice and helpful. Camp host and grounds maintenance employee were not friendly at all. Make sure to bring plenty of supplies as it takes about 30 min to nearest stores besides camp store. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Clean, well run, beautiful site.

They were not accommodating at all. In our reservation we asked to be placed next to friends, instead we were located in an entire other section. There was a vacant spot right next to our friends the entire weekend and we keep asking to move, but were not allowed as they indicated someone would be coming. They never came. When we pulled out on Sunday, the spot was still vacant.

We're a retired professional couple who travel extensively in our trailer, and Boyer Park is one of the most peaceful and best kept campgrounds we've ever visited. Situated on a bench along the Snake River, this site has been a refuge for travelers for several generations. The northern section is our favorite, with widely-spaced sites shaded by huge cottonwood and black locust trees. The surrounding Palouse is nationally known as a photographic destination, with its spring canola fields, rolling hills, and quaint barns. There is a small and very safe beach, as well as a paved river trail. The river has a slow current of about 2mph in summer and is safe for kayaks; suggest hugging the bank where the current is slower going upstream. It's possible to hook a 500 lb sturgeon here, fish quietly for catfish from the dock, or just read a book. There are miles of farm roads to explore, with new vistas over every hill. Be careful on the smaller, ungravelled roads in wet weather, as the lovely, rich windblown soil can quickly turn slick and unpassable. Mike and Monica work tirelessly to keep things spotless, and are polite but firm on noise, bad behavior, unruly pets, mess, and drunkenness - which I suspect accounts for the few bad reviews. ALSO - wonderful pizza and burgers at the restaurant!

First off new owners, the park was closed for a while. What a great place to camp and play on the river. The park is lush and green with lots of old growth trees. Spotless bathrooms. Water pressure is awesome. The people who work there are so helpful and nice. We didn't get to eat at the restaurant, so no reviews on that. Over all it was a great week and would recommend it to everyone.

It's tough having a place this nice close to home! 35 mile drive it is easy to plan low use times to organize for a travel season. It's about a scenic 2000' elevation drop from the Palouse to the Snake. Boyer weather is always 10*F warmer and drier than surrounding Palouse. The sites have large trees and large grass areas, fire pits, picnic tables, exceptional restrooms with showers and laundry, RV, camping, cabins and a small but very complete store. Service is efficient and good. Prices normal. River frontage, marina make it perfect for travelers, campers or anglers. Something for everyone. Paved 1.5 mile walk (one-way) takes you along river to observation point to Lower Granite dam, spillway and locks. Unique experience to watch grain barges or the American Empress navigate the locks.
