Hands down, our favorite campground. Huge, beautiful sites, surrounded by the breaks of the sparkling Snake. Walking trails and benches along the river—front-row seats to watch diving ospreys, kingfishers, swallows. Well-run by friendly hosts. What could be better? We'll be back.

Every thing was great.... except the fish weren’t biting.. not your fault!!

Didn’t start well because the people in our spot didn’t leave. Michael & Monica were awesome in trying to resolve the problem. We ended up in a nice site with a great view but now in the part of the park that we really like. Not their fault in any way.

The Best KOA we've ever stayed at in our 20 years of RVing. The View, the grounds, the office were so unexpected. Would love to return often. Mo & Danny

great location, great band, if I had to make one complaint.....there was a tripping hole that my wife almost took a header.

Clean ,quiet, and great owners

Probably the best park we have been too, the hosts are incredible, the facilities are great, and the location spectacular, including a live concert on KOA appreciation night. The only minor issues we had were sprinklers got our outdoor stuff wet, even items on the parking pad, and sadly the fish were not biting. Although opposite corner of state, nearly 400 miles from home it will be a go to spot.

Very nice campground. Even had a free band in the evening. Very nice.

The park is well maintained and was incredibly clean. Really enjoyed that the hosts brought in a live band for a little park entertainment. Definitely one we’ll be back to many more time.

We love camping here and using the bike paths. It is nice to have a small store to pick up items you forget to pack or need more of, including ice. There is nice shade and the grass is green, But you should work on the weeds and The wifi was too slow. We like to have TV channels available for morning coffee and times when the weather is not good.

This is my fourth stay this season. Big sites so easy social distancing. I love looking across the river and up the rolling hills. Really relaxing.

Excellent park with great amenities and management!

This is a really nice campground. It’s very close to the Little Goose Dam. It’s a big KOA. The little store at the KOA has some neat things. The food that the cafe sells is delicious. They make the best Artesian crust pizza. The campground is very clean, and the bathroom and showers were nice and clean.

My son, grandsons and I had a great stay! The park is clean, has lots of things to do - and plenty of areas for "play". All those working at the camp are very friendly. It felt as if we were all one big family! GREAT Stay!

Very nice park and facilities.

Enjoyed very much, having said that here’s the but. If you’re expecting the WiFi to work you will be sorely disappointed. WiFi is advertised but no one we talked to could receive any data. So if WiFi is important you probably should reconsider. That is the only reason for 4 star rating. Fix that and 5 stars all the way.

The host owners try to meet every need and keep the place very nice.

Very nice, well maintained park. The amenities make it a place that all ages can enjoy. Definitely will be back.

WAY TOO MANY FLIES!!! NO SERIOUSLY WAY TO MANY. FLIES CARRY MANY DISEASES!!! Nothing done about it!!! IT WAS TERRIBLE!!! Like camping there, but unsure for returning. THIS NEEDS TO BE POSTED PLEASE. Or contact them to correct this! With all that we are going through in 2020, we don't need diseases from flies too.

It was amazing. Gorgeous views, lots of stuff to do. The beach was clean and so was the park. One of my favorite koa for sure.

Awesome as usual The operators and the employees are top notch

The ladies in the office are so great. Thank you so much.

Wonderful place to stay: green grass and large sites and store/grill are so nice to have.

Hard to get to. 9% hill grade for 5miles getting in/out. Also, KOA is located in one side of a dam so be aware of closure time for the dam or you will have to drive around the river 2hrs extra. No internet, didn’t see the usual koa showers/laundry. Sprinklers AND lawn maintenance/mowing everyday! Not the normal KOA experience or atmosphere.

Beautiful park, friendly staff. The fish ladders at the nearby dam were a special treat. Kid friendly with a super safe protected swim area.
Sep 03, 2020
Great, friendly staff, clean park. Only reason I didn't give 5-stars was that at no time did I see the office staff wore a masks.
Sep 03, 2020
It was great. We stayed in the older section of the campground. The RV spots were nicely spaced apart, ours had a gravel/dirt area for tents. We had plenty of shade. The bathrooms were cleaned daily as were the public trash cans. The entire place seemed well maintained. The swimming area has a nice beach. I would suggest setting up somewhere to dump gray-water for people who are not in RVs.

Need way better wifi, need better pc systems seemed like every other min they are down. Male sure to have enough groceries stocked for the kitchen for orders. Wear face masks staff!!!!!
Sep 02, 2020
The park is in a beautiful location and well maintained. I as disappointed to see that not only was the person in the office not wearing a mask, but was not requiring patrons to either. We are in a pandemic, and this made me feel unsafe. I left as fast as I could and did not return even though we could hav3 shopped for a few supplies we needed.

Great place. Definitely will do Sun~Friday, Friday and Saturday people are NUTS. Sites 22~28 have EXTREMELY high black tank drains, a good 12”~18” high making it almost impossible to drain without a LOT of work. Sites before the restrooms are normal.

The park is maintained very well! Everything is clean, and the staff is so nice!

We're a retired professional couple who travel extensively in our trailer, and Boyer Park is one of the most peaceful and best kept campgrounds we've ever visited. Situated on a bench along the Snake River, this site has been a refuge for travelers for several generations. The northern section is our favorite, with widely-spaced sites shaded by huge cottonwood and black locust trees. The surrounding Palouse is nationally known as a photographic destination, with its spring canola fields, rolling hills, and quaint barns. There is a small and very safe beach, as well as a paved river trail. The river has a slow current of about 2mph in summer and is safe for kayaks; suggest hugging the bank where the current is slower going upstream. It's possible to hook a 500 lb sturgeon here, fish quietly for catfish from the dock, or just read a book. There are miles of farm roads to explore, with new vistas over every hill. Be careful on the smaller, ungravelled roads in wet weather, as the lovely, rich windblown soil can quickly turn slick and unpassable. Mike and Monica work tirelessly to keep things spotless, and are polite but firm on noise, bad behavior, unruly pets, mess, and drunkenness - which I suspect accounts for the few bad reviews. ALSO - wonderful pizza and burgers at the restaurant!

First off new owners, the park was closed for a while. What a great place to camp and play on the river. The park is lush and green with lots of old growth trees. Spotless bathrooms. Water pressure is awesome. The people who work there are so helpful and nice. We didn't get to eat at the restaurant, so no reviews on that. Over all it was a great week and would recommend it to everyone.

It's tough having a place this nice close to home! 35 mile drive it is easy to plan low use times to organize for a travel season. It's about a scenic 2000' elevation drop from the Palouse to the Snake. Boyer weather is always 10*F warmer and drier than surrounding Palouse. The sites have large trees and large grass areas, fire pits, picnic tables, exceptional restrooms with showers and laundry, RV, camping, cabins and a small but very complete store. Service is efficient and good. Prices normal. River frontage, marina make it perfect for travelers, campers or anglers. Something for everyone. Paved 1.5 mile walk (one-way) takes you along river to observation point to Lower Granite dam, spillway and locks. Unique experience to watch grain barges or the American Empress navigate the locks.
