Very nice, HOWEVER, you need to maintain better weed control. The "Goat head vines" or "Stickers" are going rampant and will soon impinge on your guest's bare feet and bile tires. . . I have fought these vines for years and know how FAST they spread.Other wise your maintaining your KOA with the care and interest we have become used to ! Keep up the good work, And say HI to "prickly" the porcupine

We were in the Bass-South campground and there was no wifi what so ever.

We had a fun three day stay with our grandkids. We rode bikes on the bike trail. The kids loved playing on the beach. The owners were friendly and had a great store. We ended up buying several of their LED Skyglider airplanes for the kids. Lower Granite Dam is down the river from the campsite. Drove across the dam in our motorhome. Kids loved seeing the fish ladder in the visitor center.

Nostalgic for sure. We used to hunt in the area and the last time I had stayed Boyer Park and Marina was 31 years ago. Definitely want to come back. Will remember my fishing pole. Makes me wish I had a boat too. Camp ground was clean and well maintained along with the swimming/park area. My neighbors left their air conditioner on all day. Distraction from nature but not in KOA’s control.

We loved our stay at Boyer Park KOA. The campsites were large and very well maintained. Staff was very friendly and obviously work hard at keeping the campground running smoothly. Loved the walking trails and swim area. Only negative was the wifi barely worked, and there is no cell service (Verizon). It was difficult best to communicate with college student in Pullman.

Immaculate, friendly staff and great activities!

Spacious sites with mature trees providing lots of shade! Bathrooms were just ok. Not super clean Beach and water were amazing! Staff super friendly and helpful

This was much further off the road than we expected. We were dropping our son off at Pullman and thought it would be an easy place to stay. I should have researched it a little better. The address says Colfax which isn't too far from Pullman. But the hills hauling the camper were killer. The campground itself is fine but I wouldn't recommend using it for trips to Pullman.

Beautiful KOA with large spots for our trailer. Plenty of room between spaces. Owners are very kind and helpful. This place has a great little store. Great walking path close to fishing or just relaxing. Lots of deer in the area which was cool. It seemed as though the couples or single campers were in a separate part of the park from families and large groups which we appreciated, was quiet.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Facilities are well maintained. Only issue we have is some campers not keeping their dogs on leashes or leashes secured causing some dog fights when we walk our dogs.

Nice family park

Great facilities, location and rates. Just a suggestion, but when the groundskeepers mow the grass around the camp sites they should be more careful and less aggressive. I got doused with flying grass while sitting in my lawn chair near where the man was mowing and then my RV and truck got covered in wet grass clippings as he drove quickly and close to them. Otherwise, a good stay.

A very high favorite KOA. WIDE spacing, greenery, store, food available. Marina, River scenery, hard surface hiking trail (3-4 miles), swim beach, great service. Pets.

Great campground! Very clean and peaceful. Well stocked store. Very friendly and accommodating camp hosts/ management.

It is a well cared for facility. Very spacious camp areas, lots of room between campers, beautiful green grass, lots of trees for shade. The swimming area is nice and well cared for. The site has a lot of supplies one may need, and their food was really good. Highly recommend!!

When we arrived, someone had left the KOA but left their trailer in our spot. Management was super helpful and even called down to the dam to figure out when they’d be back. They offered to make us a pizza while we waited on the house and once the people showed up, went right down and helped the people get moved out quickly. We appreciate them very much!!

We love the bands. Since it is in Washington, the smell of pot permeates the campground at times. I don't think there should be so much pot use with all of the kids around. Can they legally make the campground a pot free zone? The people that run the campground are fantastic.

It was a fun weekend with family. The entertainment in the evening was a real bonus. The bands were great.
Aug 06, 2021
Terribly obnoxious sprinklers that go off at 10:30 or 11pm. They soaked our tent even though we were on the designated area on the pad. The sprinklers hit the side of our RV so hard none of us could go to sleep. Also the lawn mowing started on Monday and continued thru Tuesday. We were expecting a serene time camping. The best time was floating in the river. The showers are outdated and dirty.

I was very happy with the clean appearance of the park and the friendly attitude of the personnel. Yes I will return. The park offers a lot!

Nice large campsites, most with good shade. Great boat access to the Snake River. But in late July it gets very hot, over 100F.

Friendly office staff as always and loved visiting the well stocked and supplied store for my nieces for toys and gift items they love it. The best was having pizza ordered and delivered to our campsite it was yummy and super fast and would highly recommend. Perfect camping weekend to celebrate my nephew's first birthday, the grass is so green and campsites pristine versus all other parks around.

The park was very clean and well staffed!

I was bummed we couldn't get into the sites we wanted, even though we booked months in advance. The sites we had weren't great as we couldn't see much of the river. Owners were very nice, food was good. Get some licorice added to your candy stash. I had a craving I couldn't take care of!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

You did get into the sites you wanted, I even copied the email where you requested the sites you stayed in! I'm sorry they didn't meet your expectations.

Great family park! Large sites, good camp store, and excellent food at the restaurant! They have a cool pirate ship playground for the kids and the swimming area is nice and clean with sand and a gradual shoreline.

Beautiful park, great swimming and very helpful registration woman/owner. Sweet evening in their rental kayaks in the marina. Not sure what kind of fish we saw right next to the boat but it was over 2 feet long.

The park is awesome. Clean and comfortable even in these super hot temps. We were there with people who stayed there years ago and they noted that it is much much cleaner and better maintained. Good job!!

We're a retired professional couple who travel extensively in our trailer, and Boyer Park is one of the most peaceful and best kept campgrounds we've ever visited. Situated on a bench along the Snake River, this site has been a refuge for travelers for several generations. The northern section is our favorite, with widely-spaced sites shaded by huge cottonwood and black locust trees. The surrounding Palouse is nationally known as a photographic destination, with its spring canola fields, rolling hills, and quaint barns. There is a small and very safe beach, as well as a paved river trail. The river has a slow current of about 2mph in summer and is safe for kayaks; suggest hugging the bank where the current is slower going upstream. It's possible to hook a 500 lb sturgeon here, fish quietly for catfish from the dock, or just read a book. There are miles of farm roads to explore, with new vistas over every hill. Be careful on the smaller, ungravelled roads in wet weather, as the lovely, rich windblown soil can quickly turn slick and unpassable. Mike and Monica work tirelessly to keep things spotless, and are polite but firm on noise, bad behavior, unruly pets, mess, and drunkenness - which I suspect accounts for the few bad reviews. ALSO - wonderful pizza and burgers at the restaurant!

First off new owners, the park was closed for a while. What a great place to camp and play on the river. The park is lush and green with lots of old growth trees. Spotless bathrooms. Water pressure is awesome. The people who work there are so helpful and nice. We didn't get to eat at the restaurant, so no reviews on that. Over all it was a great week and would recommend it to everyone.

It's tough having a place this nice close to home! 35 mile drive it is easy to plan low use times to organize for a travel season. It's about a scenic 2000' elevation drop from the Palouse to the Snake. Boyer weather is always 10*F warmer and drier than surrounding Palouse. The sites have large trees and large grass areas, fire pits, picnic tables, exceptional restrooms with showers and laundry, RV, camping, cabins and a small but very complete store. Service is efficient and good. Prices normal. River frontage, marina make it perfect for travelers, campers or anglers. Something for everyone. Paved 1.5 mile walk (one-way) takes you along river to observation point to Lower Granite dam, spillway and locks. Unique experience to watch grain barges or the American Empress navigate the locks.
