RV Reviews

Every year the park gets better and better. Last year they added motor scooters to rent. That was peiceless to me since I have mobility limitations. This gave me the freedom to experience family outing around the park. The saff treats us like family and always strive to make our visit safe and fun. The park itself is beautiful and the view of the river, sun rises and sunsets are breathtaking

Always a great experience at Boyer. The staff is fantastic, the store is great and the park is beautiful and well cared for.

Extremely noisy at the time it’s supposed to be quiet hours. Lots of dog barking and dogs off leash. This is a very nice park and did enjoy the music in the park the night we got there.

Great RV park. Looking forward to going back in the future. Just need to work on the WIFI.

We enjoyed everything about our stay but for one very annoying occurance… the extremely inept worker on the riding mower. We had to listen ( and watch) this man go around and around and around over the same ground without a plan or a clue. We watched him mowing a space while a mother home was trying to set up. He was over by us by 8:00 in the AM and started mowing our space as I was tearing do

Very friendly atmosphere. Well-stocked store, nice laundry room. Suggestion: The floors in the two women's shower stalls should have raised wooden planks or raised (cross-hatched) rubber mats to let the water drain away from the feet. Beautiful place to walk, swim, or socialize. Enjoyed our stay there.

Quiet, peaceful setting on the Snake River. Staff was super friendly.

Spacious and clean campsites. All staff was kind and very helpful. We look forward to our next stay!

a relaxing place and not noisy, the male host could have taken more time to talk to his customers, always in a hurry to move on to something or someone else.

OK, it’s remote...like really remote. That said, it is a stunning location along the Snake River with a great layout (not the typical KOA where you’re closer to the ones next to you than in a minimum security prison). The mature trees and the spectacular views of the river and canyon are worth the drive. Be careful driving down the road to the river, which is very good, but steeper than a ski

Love staying at Boyer. The food is great too.

Another most enjoyable visit despite the very hot temperatures. AC worked well and nights cooled off. We'll see you next May!

Very nice park and settings, laid out very nice. Mike and Monica should be very pleased with their hard work, because I believe it shows. Mower man must be Superman’s brother, he is unstoppable, always has a smile and doesn’t miss a blade. If ya need ice or fries just call and it will show up. Thanks very much for a great stay at your fabulous place. Jerrye

Fabulous!
Jul 18, 2021
It was wonderful as always, but watering is an issue, soaking & puddling everything in/on the pad & gravel area including the table. Michael & Monica are awesome & VERY accommodating….the best!

This place would be a 10 but horrible non existent WiFi. Has been this way for years. No excuse to have such crappy WiFi service.

It’s a great KOA, the only thing preventing 5 stars is the bathrooms. They are functional, but need some work. NOT a reason to stay away, by any means, just could be better. Everyone was super friendly and it’s beautiful and quiet.

The sites were clean and functional. The staff were friendly and helpful. Located on a beautiful section of the Snake River, our granddaughter enjoyed the swimming area immensely!

Beautiful scenery and nice campground. Ground keeper was kind of smug otherwise it was nice overall. Great playground and beach for kids to swim. Water was freezing but kids usually don’t mind.

Very nice Kampground. Large sites with roads wide enough to maneuver your RV into position. Very clean and well maintained. Staff very responsive and courteous. At first thought the lack of cell service would be an issue, but then really enjoyed the weekend "offline".

Sites had plenty of space between neighbors. Clean and well kept grounds.

Very clean grounds and friendly staff. We will be back!

Great!! I just wish we had more shade at our spot, great beach area, quiet, bathrooms need cleaned a little more often, but will come again! Thank you

Once again, our stay was great! We LOVED all the activities there were for everyone to enjoy!

Very well maintained park. Restrooms were clean and the swimming area is awesome. Thanks, we will definitely be back.

Nice open campsites, wish we could have stayed longer than what we did.
Jul 11, 2021
Just stayed 3 nights....so quiet with lots of grass and trees. Enjoyed floating in the river.

What an amazing little gem of a place!! Who would have known this place existed in the middle of the hills and nothing else in sight! We loved our site, it was large and beautiful. The little public beach was so cute and fun for floating and swimming! We were able to fit a large tent on our slab for the kids and still had plenty of room to spread out. I highly recommend this well run KOA!!

A beautiful park and well shaded in the older sections. However our stay was less than perfect. Information on our site was not posted until 1 pm. We never got the reminder of a two pm check in. Also the info re closure on Monday of the office is buried on the site. Since check in on Mondays is do it yourself, that would help to know. Also get info re store hours correct. It is listed as 9 not 10

I was not pleased with the cleanliness of the women's restrooms and showers.

Very nice place right on the river. The people that work there are very nice. Only negative is the sprinklers that come on and soak all your stuff. Once I learned the watering schedule, the next day they came on at a different time and got my stuff again. Other than that it is a great place to stay.

This park is so well maintained and clean! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! Loved it!

Very nice, clean park. Very much enjoyed our stay. Will be there again the end of the month.

We extended our stay so we’re in two spots which was enjoyable and we got to experience different sections off the park.. Sure was windy!

We're a retired professional couple who travel extensively in our trailer, and Boyer Park is one of the most peaceful and best kept campgrounds we've ever visited. Situated on a bench along the Snake River, this site has been a refuge for travelers for several generations. The northern section is our favorite, with widely-spaced sites shaded by huge cottonwood and black locust trees. The surrounding Palouse is nationally known as a photographic destination, with its spring canola fields, rolling hills, and quaint barns. There is a small and very safe beach, as well as a paved river trail. The river has a slow current of about 2mph in summer and is safe for kayaks; suggest hugging the bank where the current is slower going upstream. It's possible to hook a 500 lb sturgeon here, fish quietly for catfish from the dock, or just read a book. There are miles of farm roads to explore, with new vistas over every hill. Be careful on the smaller, ungravelled roads in wet weather, as the lovely, rich windblown soil can quickly turn slick and unpassable. Mike and Monica work tirelessly to keep things spotless, and are polite but firm on noise, bad behavior, unruly pets, mess, and drunkenness - which I suspect accounts for the few bad reviews. ALSO - wonderful pizza and burgers at the restaurant!

First off new owners, the park was closed for a while. What a great place to camp and play on the river. The park is lush and green with lots of old growth trees. Spotless bathrooms. Water pressure is awesome. The people who work there are so helpful and nice. We didn't get to eat at the restaurant, so no reviews on that. Over all it was a great week and would recommend it to everyone.

It's tough having a place this nice close to home! 35 mile drive it is easy to plan low use times to organize for a travel season. It's about a scenic 2000' elevation drop from the Palouse to the Snake. Boyer weather is always 10*F warmer and drier than surrounding Palouse. The sites have large trees and large grass areas, fire pits, picnic tables, exceptional restrooms with showers and laundry, RV, camping, cabins and a small but very complete store. Service is efficient and good. Prices normal. River frontage, marina make it perfect for travelers, campers or anglers. Something for everyone. Paved 1.5 mile walk (one-way) takes you along river to observation point to Lower Granite dam, spillway and locks. Unique experience to watch grain barges or the American Empress navigate the locks.
