We rented a camber cabin, it was so muddy you couldn't get to our step to go up to the cabin without it being a muddy mess. Then we were cooking outside and had a little deep fryer plugged in....we blew a fuse on the main breaker. Got a hold of management, they came down and reset the fuse, it blew again. Then, rudely we were told we can't cook at all in a cabin. Would not stay again, itwasbad!

They had a broken water line so we did not have water when we needed it! We feel a camp fee should have been waived for our stay. The water did not come back in until just before we left that next morning.

A guest ran over our water riser. Every attempt was made to restore water. Because of the hour it happened we were unable to get the part we needed. As soon as the supply store opened in the morning it was restored quickly.

Staff was friendly and super helpful. Cabin was clean and homey. Since we went on opening weekend hickups were expected. The staff was quick to solve any issues. Wish there was more activities for the kids as many amenities had time restrictions. Would suggest calling ahead to see the times of available for jump pad, mini golf, and planned weekend activities.

Overall a good campground for an overnight stay as it is very convenient from I-70. Clean, well maintained campsite with a nice patio. No privacy or scenery, and there is a lot of road noise towards the front of the camp. Staff was friendly and very responsive.

Just a short weekend stay to get the camper out of storage and dewinterize Getting ready for camping season. Nice site. Level. Easy in and easy out. Will certainly come Back again.

Put is in a site no cable and they new it. Did not inforce quiet hours and a concert was going on. Noisy young people almost naked in costumes everywhere. It was not good management.

The area where I stayed this time was covered into much wood/trees. The first time I stayed at this campground although a little more expensive the open area was great but upon my arrival this site was in a wooden area was not impressed with this part of the park. I do include open area preferred in my reservation but it was a few days dealt with it but if open area not available next time I will

We love the area and the layout of this campground, but are very disappointed with the lack of care for the cabins. For the very high cost, there should be cleanliness, working heat and hot water. Also do not understand the Halloween site decorating contest. The manager chooses the same winner every year, and will not let the people camping make the choice. That's part of the fun!

We had a great stay. A fun filled weekend with lots of activities planned by the staff. Rhonda and her crew did such a great job at keeping us happy campers. Trick or treating was nothing less than a great success. My 8 year old ended up with a lot of candy and a lot of laughs.Everyone seemed to enjoy all the littles in their costumes. Always clean and the best camp store EVER! Thanks

I have never stayed at a KOA before, so I was not sure what to expect; however, I had heard great things about it. We had a few more things to complete prior to leaving the Columbus area. We asked the office for a late checkout (being gone before dark), and they allowed us to stay past checkout time without an additional fee. We will always use KOA for our future camping experiences.!!

We really enjoyed our stay as always. It would be nice if they could put some gravel down on the roads around the campsites,and in the campsites themselves. Looking forward to camping at koa next year.

We stayed in one of the newer sites and they are not very level at all and with the rain our camper settled uneven after set up. There needs to be a better gravel base. I was also very bummed to not get text reminders of the activities like we did last year. I had no idea when they did stuff and the kids missed out.

So much mud. Lay some gravel down on sites without pads Y’all are priced pretty high for the quality of campgrounds. Have sewage on all sites.

Although the weather was rainy we still had an opportunity to build a fire and relax on the deluxe patio. Folks there are very accommodating and friendly. Clean camp ground and well maintained.

The campground is nice. Everyone was polite and helpful. Their sites are a little close together. You are literally sitting by your neighbors sewer. Cable didn’t work.

We paid $97.00 per night for our sight. Usually at KOA between $45.00-$65.00 per night so we expected above average camping. The campsite was muddy, it did not have enough gravel to park the trailer. The sight wasn’t close to being level even trying to use levelers didn’t work because of the mud. Oh by the way the water stopped working & the toilets backed up. Our sight did not have sewer h

Great time. I loved the Carmel coffee. Everyone helpful and pleasant. Looking forward to next visit. A little sad about breakfast not being available, but I do understand why.

We had a vehicle break down on our eastern US tour and were stranded just before a holiday weekend. The ENTIRE staff at Buckeye Lake were AMAZING and did everything they possibly could to make us feel welcome, safe and valued. Upon arrival we were given a site without septic at our request because we had planned to stay only one night and be on our way. Our truck broke down before the next morning so we ended up needing space for nearly 3 weeks! It was unplanned and could have been a disaster but the whole team went to work for us and helped us through our time of need. They even referred us to someone to pump out our waste tanks when needed. WAY above and beyond service! I wish every other Camp ground we have visited could take lessons from the team at Buckeye Lake! Thank you to the entire crew! We hope to visit again next year when we do our west coast and northern US tour!
