We needed an overnight stop and since we enjoyed this location in June we stayed here again. Everyone was very helpful.

We came in late minutes before a storm and was still greeted and upgraded to a larger site so wouldn’t have to unhitch. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, lamp ground was clean well maintained. Wet pleased and will be staying here again!!

This was a return visit becaus we loved your pool last time. We arrived around 8:30 after an exhausting day. The folks next door were having a loud party. I want to thank the worker who kindly reminded them that quiet hours would begin at 11:00. We were able to sleep as a result. I wish we'd been warned of the MOPAR event when we made our reservations. We could have made more appropriate plans.

We had a overnight stay, but wish we could have stayed longer. Very nice and clean facility. Very spacious pull thru lots. Plenty for our kids to do, they enjoyed a swim after a long travel day. We will gladly recommend the Buckeye Lake KOA to anyone. Thank You for a great KOA

The entire staff (Julie, Rhonda and Avada) are absolutely amazing. So accommodating. I've stayed at many KOAs across the states and Buckeye Lake is my favorite! Extremely clean and air conditioned shower houses and bathrooms. Well maintained properly. The pool is always sparkling and clean and the kids love the game room and bouncing pad. Definitely recommend. 5 STARS

Friendly staff. The restrooms near our cabin were closed, which was a disappointment. There was a nice walking path. It had rained before our arrival and lots of mud puddles to navigate. We inquired about a deluxe cabin and were told none were available, although one near us looked vacant. We guessed that they do not have the staff to service some at this point. Overall a good KOA to visit.

We enjoyed our stay. The grand kids came for a night. They had so much fun. Lots of activities for them to do. The staff was polite. The bathrooms were clean. Next time I will request a middle spot, we were right next to the main road. Too much traffic for the grand kids when outside. But other than the campsite area we will be sure to visit again.

I was impressed with the front desk staff, but when I asked to upgrade they told me there were not Deluxe Cabins. As I walked the campgrounds that night the were 2 open and they were still open the next day. I was also way offended by some remarks that the night person said. he was very rude and unaccommodating I call the office twice and got no response.

This was a one night stopover for us. Played a little shuffleboard, and thought that the life sized chess & checker games/pads were pretty neat!

awesome place, clean and friendly, Jimmy , one of the security gentleman was just a grin and Super nice to everyone he met.. we went on chocolate lovers weekend and the kids had a blast along with the adults watching them do the chocolate slip and slide. wood highly recommend to anyone. Manager and staff are very professional, very friendly and helpful. The park is very clean shows that the manager and staff cares about the park. We will be back to spend more time.

As usual, we loved our weekend stay! Cabin is perfect for me and my 2 kids. We enjoyed all the activities and things to do at the park! Already looking forward to our next weekend there!

Since it was my grandson's birthday present from his aunt and myself, the weekend of camping and fishing went over big time. We all really enjoyed our stay. Lots of activities for an 11 year old. Our visitors enjoyed it also with their grandchildren

Generally KOA’s are top notch! Excellent facility & very clean. Buckeye lake, however is in need of a lot of clean up! Overall appearance is very unkempt! Sites are very small! Neighboring site’s septic line was 2 feet from out picnic table we literally had to step over it to get around. Playground equipment is out dated and dangerous for small children 4 and under.

We had a small issue with the cabin and we were moved to another one and we really appreciated the quick response to do so. I liked the campgrounds and that it was close to the lake. I've been to a few KOA's, all out of state, the only thing I think needs to be done is to move the old truck and trailers, work on the putt putt golf area and clean up where the firetruck sits or put a fence there.

We had a vehicle break down on our eastern US tour and were stranded just before a holiday weekend. The ENTIRE staff at Buckeye Lake were AMAZING and did everything they possibly could to make us feel welcome, safe and valued. Upon arrival we were given a site without septic at our request because we had planned to stay only one night and be on our way. Our truck broke down before the next morning so we ended up needing space for nearly 3 weeks! It was unplanned and could have been a disaster but the whole team went to work for us and helped us through our time of need. They even referred us to someone to pump out our waste tanks when needed. WAY above and beyond service! I wish every other Camp ground we have visited could take lessons from the team at Buckeye Lake! Thank you to the entire crew! We hope to visit again next year when we do our west coast and northern US tour!
