Very clean sites, amazing staff, would recommend a little larger pool with as many people. Lots for kids to do overall pretty amazing campground

Our cabin was tucked back into the woods, which was lovely. Some others were in the middle of rows of tightly-packed RVs, which wouldn’t have been as nice. The bathroom building closest to us was under construction, so we had to walk a little farther, but the bathroom was clean.

This is the nicest KOA. Lots of tree and things for the kids to do. Very Clean.

Nice clean campground. Had a pull through site with a nice patio, glider, table and chairs, charcoal grill and fire pit.

We just needed a place to park our RV and visit our family there in the Columbus area and there were opening slots for the week but not the weekend..

Loved our stay here. Everyone who worked here was very nice and very helpful. Campground was small and clean and everyone was very respectful of each other. Seemed like there were a lot of regulars who stay here. Unfortunately a mosquito fogger vehicle drove through on our last night around 10 pm. We’d much prefer not to have our belongings and children directly sprayed with poisonous chemicals.

We only spent an overnight here using it as a stopover while crossing OH on I-70. Lots of seasonals at this park. But we were there midweek so it was very quiet and not full at all. Easy FHU pull through. Convenient to highway.

We have stayed here several years ago, it was ok. Biggest complaint....staff racing(very fast) in golf carts back and forth in site next to us, stirring up dust, while we were cooking. Pink golf cart doing same with blaring music. Big trucks also using empty site and driving way too fast. Sites should not be used as roadways and abide by speed limit. Not returning.

We were in and out for a softball tournament but while on site the staff was remarkable. Any questions we had were answered professionally and timely. I would definitely stay at Buckeye Lake again.

Staff was nice and helpful, but the guests that were staying there at the same time were extremely nasty to me, throwing open beer cans at my car, and when I stopped to ask why, they gave me no reason.

We had a good time camping two nights. Had family visiting from Columbus one evening for dinner. All was great we will be back, soon!!

Loved this campground! Full of big beautiful trees, very nice sites and friendly staff. Very nice restroom facilities and a well stocked campstore. We will be back!

There’s no access to Buckeye Lake within campground. The shower house/ restrooms by our site was closed for remodeling. The pumpout station blocked the exit if two vehicles waiting. Recessed fire pit was small and tripping hazard. They were nicely shaded sites but small. We appreciated the daily site trash pickup.

I had a wonderful time! Employees were very helpful. I would suggest that you tell people who are checking out and not using the dump station how to get out. I waited a half hour before some nice man helped me back up and go the wrong way out the entrance. Since this was my first stay at your wonderful campground, I didn’t know. I was traveling alone with an rv and toad.

Bathroom nearest the tent sites was out of order. Would have been nice to know when making the reservation...long walk for those who do not have a bathroom on wheels.

The employees were great. Very nice and always helpful. Jimmy helped me out w an issue after the office had closed and I really appreciated it. My only negative comments would be the toilets stacked on the porch where there use to be a bathroom/shower facility. It looked bad. Also the putt putt course was in need of repair/cleaning. The fountain water was green and not running.

We had a vehicle break down on our eastern US tour and were stranded just before a holiday weekend. The ENTIRE staff at Buckeye Lake were AMAZING and did everything they possibly could to make us feel welcome, safe and valued. Upon arrival we were given a site without septic at our request because we had planned to stay only one night and be on our way. Our truck broke down before the next morning so we ended up needing space for nearly 3 weeks! It was unplanned and could have been a disaster but the whole team went to work for us and helped us through our time of need. They even referred us to someone to pump out our waste tanks when needed. WAY above and beyond service! I wish every other Camp ground we have visited could take lessons from the team at Buckeye Lake! Thank you to the entire crew! We hope to visit again next year when we do our west coast and northern US tour!
