The campground was great! Very well maintained, and quiet. Only issue we had was that the chemicals in the pool were extremely strong. My children and I needed to go to the store for eye drops to stop them from burning.

We were asked to get out of the pool during regular swim hours so the mowers could mow. My father in-law nearly fell through a rotten board on the deck. We were told the shuffle board equipment was broken. We were asked to get off the pedal bikes 1 min after we got on so they could lock them up, there were no hours posted. The amenities are in poor condition, the staff was not very friendly

Staff was friendly and site was very nice, but the campground stunk of open sewage, bathrooms were closed, dumpsters were overflowing, and the mosquitoes were persistent.

The staff and management were very nice and helpful. I enjoyed all the shade under the big trees throughout the campground. The restrooms were clean and air-conditioned. I hope our Reunion happens there again in the future.

Got to the campground 8pm. My reservation and lot number and map were waiting in area marked late arrival. Shower house was exceptional. Individual shower room was bright and clean. Just put trash by road for pickup. Pool, play area just as described on website. Ask staff for help finding the nearest phone store and Ford dealership. They knew the area and gave me good directions. I highly recommen

Our site(73) was in a section of the park that looked “trashy”. I could not get any cable tv channels & when I called for assistance, the office was already closed! Departure from this pull thru site is “tight” even without a towed vehicle. I hope our upcoming stay in October will prove better.

It was a nice campground. But the tent sites were super far away from the bathrooms, which never makes any sense to me, since they are the ones who need the most access to them. Also, there was a TV in the bathroom and it was tuned to a true crime station. I arrived after hours, and I was forced to listen to a description of a crime while I did my business. Not great before bed.

Check in went smoothly. Cable TV did not work. Camp sight personnel were rude to gests several times that were observed. WIFI connection to internet was not working most of the time.

The IBEW Reunion was happening during our stay. There was activity and talking until the wee hours of the morning. There were only two showers for a very large campground. Not a great environment for our stay with our 5 year old grandson.

This campground was preparing for an electrical workers reunion. And they took over the whole campgrounds making everything unavailable. Hardly any activities were offered, laundry was not available. We were rushed to check out, campers parked on both sides of the driveways with no room to maneuver around them. The front entrance was very chaotic to enter. AND Our power went out several times.

It seemed like preferential treatment was given to a large group renting the campground. We've stayed at this campground several times over the last few years, and this time was awful. Large groups in golf carts zooming through the grounds, and loud music and partying well into the early morning hours. This is not the family friendly camp we are accustomed to.

Staff & mgt were awesome! Activities for the kids, clean restrooms. We were a LARGE group, that took very good care of us. Rhonda and her staff were wonderful!!!

While there were activities, there is no nature to enjoy. No hiking trails, etc. The golf cart traffic and noise was very annoying. If I want to have a party type weekend this would have been fine but we were looking to relax. The cable hookup did not work properly.

Unfortunately the bath houses were closed so we had no shower access, and only ports potties.The neighbors were loud and there was a lot of partying going on all night. People were going by in golf carts all hours of the night. Not a restful night if staying in a tent trailer. Would not recommend.

Our spot wasn’t available when we arrived and so were put at a different site. We were there two nights and the second day three other tents pitched in the site we were in and were basically touching. They did not enforce quiet hour and so it was very loud past midnight. Not a great family experience.

Arrived at 12:30pm got to site no water. Told would be on in 20 minutes. Not on till 6:30pm. Staff checking in knew there was no water should have told us so we could fill tank somewhere. Cable didn’t work man said it was out TVs. They worked before arriving and worked at next KOA campground and are still working. Won’t recommend your campground to anyone. Worst KOA I have stayed in. Good park for families a lot of activities. Not very peaceful or quiet.. Gravel roads with so many koa golf carts and campers able to have golf carts you hear continuous noise over gravel all day long.we pulled in road weary after long drive wanted to get a shower ASAP, paid extra for full hook up ,shortly after we arrived water was shut off for repairs! Park stated it would be 15 min 4 hrs later

We rented a cabin you couldn’t even take a shower there was no water pressure whatsoever something was leaking inside possibly the air conditioner air conditioner in the living room was so noisy we had a shut it off the kitchen sink there’s a lot to be said for it’s pretty bad A lot of work was being done in that campground That week we didn’t expect. We left a day early

the amenities were very nice. everything was clean and the staff were so friendly. my kids loved being there. the only suggestion would be providing extra staff during check in times. there was a pretty long line (around 6-8 RVs) waiting to get checked in at the same time. this would not detract me from returning to this great campground.

They are so helpful and provide many services. They will deliver wood, ice and fill up your propane tank. Excellent customer service.

We had a vehicle break down on our eastern US tour and were stranded just before a holiday weekend. The ENTIRE staff at Buckeye Lake were AMAZING and did everything they possibly could to make us feel welcome, safe and valued. Upon arrival we were given a site without septic at our request because we had planned to stay only one night and be on our way. Our truck broke down before the next morning so we ended up needing space for nearly 3 weeks! It was unplanned and could have been a disaster but the whole team went to work for us and helped us through our time of need. They even referred us to someone to pump out our waste tanks when needed. WAY above and beyond service! I wish every other Camp ground we have visited could take lessons from the team at Buckeye Lake! Thank you to the entire crew! We hope to visit again next year when we do our west coast and northern US tour!
