We were so happy to be offered a pull thru upgrade on our arrival, since we were just staying one night. The staff in the office were very friendly and they have a nice store with cute stuff! I could not have been more disappointed. Site was so small a fire ring could not be offered on site. Was given a free bundle of fire wood and told we could use the tent sites fire ring across the road. This did not make up for the disappointment of driving 4 hours and expecting KOA quality when the site could not even provide the fundamentals to camping. Will never return.

It was a hot day when I checked in. I had chosen a spot out in the open. I requested a shaded spot, and although they were quite full, they found me a perfect spot, under a tree. We enjoyed an evening sitting in front of our RV, sipping a cool drink and watching the night come on. Thank you to all of you at Buckeye Lake.

4 out of 5. Cable hook up only had 1 blurry channel. Sites were a bit small for the price, but clean and well maintained.

We've stayed here many times and each time it gets better. The campground continues to make improvements with the camper in mind. The facilities are very well kept and the staff is super friendly. Looking forward to our next visit. Keep up the good work!

Facilities are clean and the staff was fairly responsive and polite. Would have given 4 starts but all the amenities you pay extra for (kids cost you extra per child per day) are only open on Weekends (not advertised). They said they are not staffed to support that, even though we were paying extra for it. Would not recommend unless you like paying extra for nothing.

Our stay was very good we've always enjoyed it at the KOA Buckeye Lake. Are only concerned this time was that there was too much chlorine in the pool and the grandchildren's eyes were burning but we understand the reasoning it was a very good day

Stay was good. Had a small issue at check in but staff did a great job getting it figured out quickly. The supervisor, sorry but can’t recall her name, at front desk was great. As was another front desk employee named gabby, she was great as well. Everyone was friendly and nice, minus one maintenance person. Pool was clean. Camp store was nice. Bath house at front was clean.

Very busy camp. We were on top of our neighbor. Grass needed cutting and weeding. Our fire pit was over grown and site was tight to maneuver. Many RV’s look like they stay summer after summer, some with sheds, large propane tanks, outdoor equipment just a turn off for us as a KOA. Picnic tables all rotted out. Beautiful area, camp needs attention.

Manager was very disrespectful towards me in front of other guests over wrist bands for my kids that were not provide during check in. Check in was midday during the week, I.e. very slow. With only myself and shortly thereafter one additional camper checking in. The amenities for my kids were only open on Saturday of our stay (Thursday - Sunday AM). Very expensive with little for kids to do.

We had a wonderful stay at Buckeye Lake! Rhonda and her staff are so friendly and helpful. Being able to text the office is very convenient! We had a lot of rain during our stay. We lost power one day for about an hour and had a small washout in our campsite. I was able to text Rhonda, and she informed me of the power situation and send gravel to cover up the mud! Quick to fix & so helpful!

Rhe Deluxe cabin was very nice. The only issue we had was water pressure in the shower. It was very weak to say the least.

The weather was not the best. We had rain off and on but the campground is nicely maintained and they have been doing a lot of upgrades. Many new electric pedestals. There were plenty of staff if you need anything. Staff were friendly. The lake is very close by. I will probably stay here again

The only reason I'm giving four out of five stars is because bath and shower house was out of order, and was not advised. Otherwise, everything about stay was great! Sites were all very well maintained, staff was very courteous and present, wanting to do both at ground and nearby areas. Would definitely and will definitely stay again!

it had rained just before we checked into the campground. the site we booked was too muddy for our 2 dogs and camper. Julie had moved us into another site at the same price. the staff was very helpful and friendly. firewood was delivered to our site very quickly. we truly enjoyed our stay and intend to return in the near future.

Things were very nice to the extent we were able to use. We were mainly looking for a one night stop on a much longer trip. Some of the amenities were not available due to pandemic recovery. As always, I would like the price to be lower for a cabin with no bathroom, but it was nice to have A/C on this particular day.

the cabin was a little run down. The porch was in need of paint and leaves from the fall were still there. Itwould take only a few seconds to blow off. I walk inside and leaves on the floor, mold in the bathroom. The coffee pot had mold. The sofa mattress was very dirty. Light bulb out and had to stand on chair to regulate fan. Floor was very dirty in corners. The grill was a mess. I cleaned best

If you get the prime camping space you will have room to camp. We did not have a prime spot. It was very tight, table was ok. The camping spot was just average or below spot for a single night stay.

Have stayed there numerus times going and coming back from Alaska, and other states in the West and have found them friendly, and helpful. Will be staying there again on our way back in July for a couple of nights.

Our stay at Buckeye Lake/Columbus East KOA was pleasant and uneventful. We were ushered to our site and helped with setup.

We had a vehicle break down on our eastern US tour and were stranded just before a holiday weekend. The ENTIRE staff at Buckeye Lake were AMAZING and did everything they possibly could to make us feel welcome, safe and valued. Upon arrival we were given a site without septic at our request because we had planned to stay only one night and be on our way. Our truck broke down before the next morning so we ended up needing space for nearly 3 weeks! It was unplanned and could have been a disaster but the whole team went to work for us and helped us through our time of need. They even referred us to someone to pump out our waste tanks when needed. WAY above and beyond service! I wish every other Camp ground we have visited could take lessons from the team at Buckeye Lake! Thank you to the entire crew! We hope to visit again next year when we do our west coast and northern US tour!
