Beautiful old trees. Everything seems to be a work in progress not finished for customers to use. Landscaping is very important to me. I was ivery disappointed to see that some expensive plants were not well maintained.

Beautiful large sites! We truly enjoyed the peaceful scenery and location! Customer service is amazing! We will definitely return. The only negatives from our stay was the noisy construction, which I assume the improvements are going to be amazing. The laundry machines were in need of repair but staff was aware and making attempts to get a repairman in. All in all, we loved our stay!

One of the worst KOA campgrounds I've stayed at. Basically a mud hole with water running through a number of camp sites which I understand is a recurring issue during rain events. Sites need to have new gravel laid and enough to get the camper off the ground and on top of the gravel. Several days of tromping around in the mud is not fun. More worried about profit than camper care!

Lovely site #85 during the week days. We had pull through, water & 50 amp, no FHU available. Nice staff, clean sites. Laundry was sub par: 12 machines and only six worked. No repairs made during our 7-day stay.

Due to heavy rain, there was standing water around out deluxe cabin. The heater in the bedroom did not work. Tiny ants were all over the kitchen. Never did see the lake.

Stayed 2 nights. Cannot rate much, it rained. Located in a nice spot of town. Walking distance to pizza and store. Do not go when there has been rain as the campground is in a flood plain. Our site was in 4-5 inches of water. We had to move sites. Someone from campground did come to help us. Literally looked like a lake. I hope they can address the drainage issue. It's slow. We rented the deluxe cabin 1 and it was very nice and clean. Our fire alarm went off/out during our first night (after midnight) and it was replaced the next day within hours after notifying the office. Thank you. We brought our own putt putt clubs so we enjoyed the putt putting and the Chinese Auction. We will be back!

The staff were very accommodating and the pull thru sites were very nice. For my first time towing a 42 ft fifth wheel, this place was easy to navigate. The kids enjoyed the jump pillow and other play area amenities. We will be back.

We had a great time this weekend visiting with friends that had not camped for two years. Rhonda does such a great job welcoming everyone. We plan to come back again this summer.

The sites were a lot smaller than expected. I do love that there were so many activities that were included. Kids were disappointed when activities closed at 6pm on Saturday night. But with a Noon check-out, the kids were still able to enjoy some of the activities before leaving Sunday. We will definitely be back.

Everyone was nice and the cabin we stayed in was nice, but the campground itself was very small compared to other KOA's and didn't have very much to do.

Staff is friendly and helpful, but sites are pretty tightly packed. Also, though our assigned site had a fire ring, the area around the fire ring was very wet and muddy.

Very nice,cabin needs brighter light inside.Not a fan of the cabins that look like sheds,to cold,and musty.I bought spray so that helped.Didnt know the breakfast barn was going to be closed.But we managed.All in all had a nice time.

One of the best KOAs we’ve stayed at in over a decade. Lovely, well-kept grounds and fantastic shower rooms (a couple of which need stools BTW) with plenty of hot water. Friendly staff. Easy walk to the lake. We enjoyed our visit.

WE ARRIVED AFTER THE OFFICE WAS CLOSED.....NIGHT SECURITY HAD THE KEY TO LET US IN BUT WE WERE INSTRUCTED THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO LEAVE A DEPOSIT OF $20 IF WE WANTED A KEY.....WE DID NOT DO SINCE WE WERE LEAVING EARLIER THAN THE OFFICE WAS OPEN THE NEXT MORNING. KIND OF A WEIRD REQUIREMENT FOR WEARY TRAVELERS.

we got there after a big rain and it was a lake. My campsite was flooded so they put me right across from it in a site that was very nice. They kept me with my group that I was there with (Sisters on the Fly) So i did not miss out on anything. People were very nice and accommodating.

Even tho they had flooded areas from huge storm it was still a nice park. We don't use facilities so can't rate. But great gravel spits and plenty of places to walk our dog. Had 3 unconnected dog parks.

The site was clean and quiet. The cable didn't work. I don't know if that was due to the flooding from the torrential rain storm. Half of the dryers were not working on the laundry room. I may or may not stay again. Okay for a night or two.

We had a vehicle break down on our eastern US tour and were stranded just before a holiday weekend. The ENTIRE staff at Buckeye Lake were AMAZING and did everything they possibly could to make us feel welcome, safe and valued. Upon arrival we were given a site without septic at our request because we had planned to stay only one night and be on our way. Our truck broke down before the next morning so we ended up needing space for nearly 3 weeks! It was unplanned and could have been a disaster but the whole team went to work for us and helped us through our time of need. They even referred us to someone to pump out our waste tanks when needed. WAY above and beyond service! I wish every other Camp ground we have visited could take lessons from the team at Buckeye Lake! Thank you to the entire crew! We hope to visit again next year when we do our west coast and northern US tour!
