We enjoyed our stay at Buckeye Lake KOA. Staff was very accommodating. Bathhouse next to office was clean & tidy. Unfortunately, they had a water pump issue that forced them to close the bathhouse near our site but we didn’t mind the short walk to the main bathhouse. We’d definitely stay again should we return to the area.

The only unfortunate part of our stay was that we couldn't stay longer. Buckeye is a beautiful and well maintained RV Park.

The water at our camp site was on and off all day Friday, and then it was off completely all day Saturday. We were given no update on the issue until we went to the store and asked. The staff were not friendly and didn't offer any solution to the issue. When asked later that night for an update they said they helped some guests by filling holding tanks, but they didn't offer that for us. Terrible.

Acorns dropping on the roof of the RV all night long is a terrible thing, I never wanna experience that again.After a nice rain all the roads in the campground turn to mud, unacceptable.

Got all the needs of a good camper. Too much alcohol allowed. Tiki bar on one site. Way too many speeding golf carts. Guess the 2 go hand in hand. Need to clean up the long term camper row.

Everything was great except for water being off and thank god you have nice women's bathhouse we were they staying because our grandson that lives in Blacklick we were celebrating his birthday and I needed to shower so thank you and our granddaughter spent the night with us and loved doing the tree craft and she also decorated/ gave 3 pumpkins faces.Thank you all.�

Overall our weekend was great! However, our firepit didn't have bricks around it or a grate to go over top like the others so that was a little inconvenient. It was super nice to have the text communications though, and the campground was very well kept.

I didn't like that the tent sites were first come, first serve. I prefer a system where you are assigned a spot, and that's where you go. (As a late arrival, it was weird to drive slowly peering into the dark/other peoples sites, looking for an open space). Otherwise everything was clean. Good internet service.

Such a fun campground! All the facilities were clean and guest services very helpful and friendly. Our site was a little narrow to our liking but there are other sites we will reserve in the future. Went to Columbus to Otherworld for m daughters 13 th bday and then to Brewdog for Lunch! (Amazing) then to Forty Deuces for that fabulous bday milkshake. Want to explore Buckeye Lake next time!

We stayed in a deluxe cabin it was very nice. The only improvement I would suggest is the showers in the far right side of the campground need to be cleaned better. There was mold growing o. The shower curtain.

Quiet, clean, lovely park. Excellent utilities, nice level spaces. Great staff ... we will definitely stay here on our next pass through.

Came back for the second time since the first was good. Then you put us near the Ofc. but after a while someone was pressure washing or something for two hours or more. Not what I call a relaxing time after driving 7 hours. Fortunately it didn't gone on all evening.

The staff was wonderful! We were just passing through when a medical event landed my wife in the hospital for two weeks and I was so lucky to have landed at such a great campground. Everyone was patient and understanding of our predicament and even sent my wife flowers!! Yeah, we be back to more fully enjoy the area.

This was our first camping experience. It was amazing. I have nothing but great things to say. A special thanks for the enthusiasm and creativity with the kids activities. My boys loved it, and so did us adults! Thank you!

Except for the two days of hard rain, we had a wonderful, relaxing stay. It was also quiet and our neighbors were all friendly as we talked.

We love stopping here. You can walk to the lake, or bike. Perfect. Clean bathrooms, always friendly staff. We got 2 + “ rain and campground drains wuickly. All sites are very good.

We travel fulltime. It’s always nice to stay in a campground that’s well kept with staff who are willing to help you have a great experience. While we were only overnight guests, we enjoyed a quiet restful night. Recommended.

We found the place very quiet and relaxing. Everyone was nice and respectful. Cabin was for the most part clean with the exception of the A/C units and minor issues in the bathroom. A periodic maintenance check of loose parts and small adjustments is not a bad idea. All in all, nice place, nice people and nice area. I would stay again.

We had a vehicle break down on our eastern US tour and were stranded just before a holiday weekend. The ENTIRE staff at Buckeye Lake were AMAZING and did everything they possibly could to make us feel welcome, safe and valued. Upon arrival we were given a site without septic at our request because we had planned to stay only one night and be on our way. Our truck broke down before the next morning so we ended up needing space for nearly 3 weeks! It was unplanned and could have been a disaster but the whole team went to work for us and helped us through our time of need. They even referred us to someone to pump out our waste tanks when needed. WAY above and beyond service! I wish every other Camp ground we have visited could take lessons from the team at Buckeye Lake! Thank you to the entire crew! We hope to visit again next year when we do our west coast and northern US tour!
