Stayed at this KOA because we were visiting a friend that lives nearby in Hebron. We when on a pontoon boat ride on Buckeye Lake with Captain Buck, visited the Columbus Zoo and the Franklin Conservatory, visited the village of Granville and Denison University. We ate at Clays in Hebron and The Pub on Broadway in Granville. We used the nice Weber gas grill on site to make hamburgers.

The staff and workers were fine. No complaints. The overall campground was overpriced for what was offered. Our neighbors septic hookup was right out our door next to the picnic table. Ours was located in the same place to our other neighbors. Poor planing. Too many RV crammed in together. Many full timers and very unsightly spaces. $70/ night for members is way over priced. Should of been free!

It was a holiday weekend and they were remolding the bath houses. We have stayed there for serval years and it’s not ran like it was before. Kids ride self petaling low the ground without flags. Very dangerous when you can see them. Also not as clean like before.

Nice clean and scenic Kamp. When I tried to reserve a weekend cabin online, the results kept saying "only one left," so I hurriedly booked it (I stayed in #4). ---However, NO ONE stayed in the other three cabins either Friday or Saturday....(except possibly one person in one cabin (#1) who MAY have stayed there one night). what was THAT all about?!! Restrooms were VERY clean, thank you!

Friendly staff. Very accommodating. Super clean restrooms/showers. Nice,wide gravel sites. Quiet, family friendly.

Site was under huge oak raining down acorns on top of trailer. Asked to move over one row and was told someone would be using that site the next day. I stayed two more days and site was still vacant when I left. Also I was told that the laundry had one machine working.

I always go camping and this was my first time visiting Buckeye Lake. All i want to say is that this is a very fun and safe place for the kids and i am definitely coming back.

Labor Day weekend. Delivery service and employees top notch. It is a GREAT place for kids and families.

I do not recommend booking a premium site with the patio, table set, and rocking glider. These sites are the most expensive, yet the view is terrible. Our patio faced the game room and pavilion, right next to the camp store. Our fire pit was oddly placed right at the corner of the site and the main entrance/road. LOTS of traffic, including KOA golf carts and very very noisy. Would not stay again.

Very impressed with the Buckeye Lake KOA. The bathrooms were very clean. The gift shop had so many cute items to choose from too. The beauty of Buckeye Lake is just a stroll across the street , love the boardwalk. ..we will definitely return.

We had a great weekend with friends. Rhonda and the staff are great. She even had a memorial service to remember the 9/11 tragedy.

Staff is quite helpful, the campground was well kept, and the restrooms were some of the nicest and cleanest Ive seen at a campground. Ive already recommended this to some friends.

Beautifully maintained property. Staff members are always ready to assist. Lots of things for the kids to do (summer months). Pool is extremely clean and well maintained as well. Showers and restrooms are always stocked and very clean. Would definitely recommend this KOA.

We really enjoyed the camp ground. The staff was very kind and helpful. The grounds were keep clean. I like how all I needed to do with the trash was to put out by the road and someone picked it up. Thank you the the SMILES!

Perfect weather this time of year. Beautiful walkway along the north bank of the lake. Will definitely come back again.

Great pull thru site. The weather happened to be gorgeous, which was nice. Very nice and well kept facility.

Stayed here previously in Oct 2020 and liked it so stayed again. We only stayed 1 night on our way west and chose a pull through site so we did not have to unhook our toad. Sites were very level so jacks only used to stabilize the motorhome. Cable is a bonus. Quiet campground but it was a Thursday.

This was our second visit to Buckeye Lake KOA. Great location, wonderful staff and facility we will definitely be back.

Nice site, level with nice bathrooms, (but small). Small dog park which was ok. Always happy to have some place to let dog run. A bit expensive, but we did upgrade to super-duper spot with patio, grill, glider and full table and chairs, and it was Labor day weekend.

Our stay was great! They had excellent activities for the kids and all our fellow campers were extremely nice.

We have stayed here 3 other times and decided to stay for Labor Day weekend as a end of summer trip. We reserved online and check in was quick & easy. Cabin was clean and easy to locate. They had some activities which was fun for kids & families. Enjoyed the pool, jumping pad, arcade, mini golf & other fun activities. Store was nice it had lots of cute items to buy as well as items you may need.

wifi was very good. Cable was available but picture quality was not the best. It was a busy weekend with campground being full but a dog was left unattended for hours and hours and finally after 11PM owners came back; Sunday night there must a been a football game on because this one man yelled every time something good happen until 11:17Pm. Otherwise a clean friendly park.

We had a vehicle break down on our eastern US tour and were stranded just before a holiday weekend. The ENTIRE staff at Buckeye Lake were AMAZING and did everything they possibly could to make us feel welcome, safe and valued. Upon arrival we were given a site without septic at our request because we had planned to stay only one night and be on our way. Our truck broke down before the next morning so we ended up needing space for nearly 3 weeks! It was unplanned and could have been a disaster but the whole team went to work for us and helped us through our time of need. They even referred us to someone to pump out our waste tanks when needed. WAY above and beyond service! I wish every other Camp ground we have visited could take lessons from the team at Buckeye Lake! Thank you to the entire crew! We hope to visit again next year when we do our west coast and northern US tour!
