We enjoy this campsite. This is our third time there this year and have one more weekend in October. Very accommodating staff with lots of activities for campers if they are looking for something to do. Great location with the lake and would highly recommend to anyone.

We really enjoyed everything the campground had to offer! A nice pool, bouncing pillow, pedal carts, mini golf, and more! The campground was very clean, easy to get in/out of, and very friendly staff. We loved that we saw a KOA employee driving by on the golf carts frequently throughout the day. We will definitely be back.

Staff was friendly, easy in/out, camper sites are extremely tight to the point of not setting up our sewer hose bc our neighbors were sitting outside enjoying their weekend. The fire pits are extremely close to the camper bc there is no room. Quiet hours are late (11:00 pm), Buckeye Lake is Awesome and close to the campground

appreciated that Rhoda helped us get to our cabin after a lot of rain during the day and all night. had to walk thru a lot of rain to get all packed up to leave. did not like all those cabins way in the back of the campground. big step to get in and drive way back to the cabins unclear as to where to park and no bathrooms close.staff changed our cabin to up front. thanks

Everything was wonderful and relaxing. Clean facilities, trash removal. Only complaint was parking at our camp site was really tight. Neighboring sites said it's hard to park and not block someone especially with big trucks at the back in sites. Pull thru sites had more room. We enjoyed our stay.

I would rate the employees I talked to a 20!!! But for one reason only I didn’t score 5 stars is because that’s twice I’ve been there this summer and both times tree limbs drug across the roof of my coach. Please trim the trees through the park where RV’s drive through.

Buckeye Lake needs improvements. Most spots are small. Our spot was in the 230s & had standing water in the trench that settled where they installed water/electric. We haven’t had much rain. Neighbor left 6” deep ruts backing his camper in his spot. Our site was 50% grass/gravel & 50% mud. Only 1 dump site for the whole campground, most sites are W/E only so it gets backed up on Sunday mornin

Staff were friendly and facilities were clean and well maintained. Sites are very small. There are buddy sites available if you’re camping with friends.

The campsite was overcrowded. Our site was so small we could not put our Airstream awning up without encroaching on the neighboring site. Loud music all afternoon from a car on the campsite opposite and barking dogs were not conducive to a restful stay. Our site was not level, very muddy, and the fire pit had trash in it. Very disappointing for a facility that had so many accolades.

Some of the nicest, most helpful management/staff that we have dealt with (and we were full-time RVers for 5 years so lots of experience). Made the stay a pleasure. Park very clean and well-kept.

We were piled on top of each other when there was plenty of sites all around. I don't like being on top of another family. I guess part of it is my fault as I didn't look at the site map. Maybe give the option to move when other sites are available. It was way to cramped for me.

Would have been more enjoyable if I could have gotten a site with sewer or a patio site. Otherwise, we had a great weekend stay.

As a handicap person, it was too far to get to the nearest bathhouse. Thankfully we used our port o potty that we carry for these purposes. Good shade when we set up our truck tent!

Staff is awesome and friendly and accommodating. Some of the newer sites are a little waterlogged with bad drainage but overall a GREAT place to stay. Would recommend over and over again.

What an amazing place to stay! The staff is exceptional! They go above and beyond for their guests. The grounds are very well maintained. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. Great location. Peaceful! A definite must stop if you’re in the area!

We were somewhat disappointed in our stay. The cabins seemed clean at first glance, however we quickly noticed the bottoms of our feet were extremely dirty from walking across the floors. We were also disappointed because our son wanted to jump on the bounce pillow and they said that because of staff shortage that it wasn’t open. Of course that is extremely disappointing to a four year old.

We stayed at Buckeye Lake for 5 nights while we were visiting the Columbus, OH area. Everything was clean. The Restrooms/showers were exceptional. The ladies working in the office were great!

Excellent location. A destination in itself with planned activities, plenty of on-site games, entertainment, and staff. Family/pet friendly. Lots of shade trees. Quiet at night. Conveniently located next to Buckeye Lake, local restaurants, state park, walk/bike path, museum, interstate, gas, and much more. Only 20 minutes east of Columbus, OH. Would return if in the area again.

The campground had plenty stuff for the family to do but it was very much unmaintained and much needed of help. For 1 the pool had missing tiles on the walls and steps which is unsafe for people to enter it. 2nd the putt putt course was disgusting by all the weeds and the green water in the fountain. We could tell it was once a nice campground and feel bad that it’s unmaintained now!!

Just a one night stay on the way home, trying to avoid hurricane. Received a text verifying our reservation. I replied to the text, not sure if it was a “monitored” text. The Community Manager replied and answered all our questions. The staff were all very friendly and professional. We’ll plan to come back here as a destination in the future.

Stayed 4 nights , had full hookup with patio 50amp.. spot was nice ! Down side the cable was out the entire stay for my sight and many others .. I reported the cable outage and the office had it chk and conclusion was no can fix its underground.. wasn’t offered any type of refund at all ! Still paid for price ! I was disappointed the Koa never offered a cheaper rate per day for the cable b’n

Enjoyed the camp grounds. Dave the kids activity coach was so nice and fun. Pool was clean, arcade was fun too. The cabin was nice and comfortable. I wish there were pads for the outdoor chairs and swings. There was a lot of dust on floors and curtains. Cabin needed a good vacuuming and AC units had mold in them. Will rent camper next vist. Front desk associates were very nice and informativ

The owner was very polite. We called a head of time asking about renovated restrooms since all my past KOA have had them. We were told they were and they were not. Not only where the restrooms not renovated only certain ones were open which is not okay. Also our cabin only had one AC. This did NOT happen everyone had to sleep in the one room even on the floor. We will not be returning.

We had a vehicle break down on our eastern US tour and were stranded just before a holiday weekend. The ENTIRE staff at Buckeye Lake were AMAZING and did everything they possibly could to make us feel welcome, safe and valued. Upon arrival we were given a site without septic at our request because we had planned to stay only one night and be on our way. Our truck broke down before the next morning so we ended up needing space for nearly 3 weeks! It was unplanned and could have been a disaster but the whole team went to work for us and helped us through our time of need. They even referred us to someone to pump out our waste tanks when needed. WAY above and beyond service! I wish every other Camp ground we have visited could take lessons from the team at Buckeye Lake! Thank you to the entire crew! We hope to visit again next year when we do our west coast and northern US tour!
