Nice stay at this RV park. Didn’t use the pool or basketball (half court), but looked nice. Had a patio spot (#314) which was nice and spacious. If you are not fortunate enough to get one of these prized locations you will be very close to your neighbors. Check-in was fast and easy. The park is about 30-40 minutes to downtown Columbus. We would stay here again.

We booked a full hookup site and did not request a buddy site but we were given one. We were very close to the neighboring camper which made an uncomfortable situation!

This was our first time at buckeye lake KOA, I will start off by saying all the staff was very friendly and very helpful ! We was at site 073 the sites on this side of the camp ground are tite and we walked out our door into the next campers sewer Lines . We plan to stay again but a patio site .

We were in town to watch our daughter race in the BEST of the Best barrel race at the Ohii State Fair Grounds. This KOA was close and gave us flexibility to get out of the heat, eat and do what we needed for her. Great stay! Thanks!

Great staff! Very helpful all around. Was our first trip out in our new camper and everyone was outstanding! Will definitely be back here for sure!

It was great until Saturday evening - new campers in close proximity were enjoying marijuana. The smell to our location was horrendous, we had to leave our campsite to get away from it.

Level sites, mostly shaded. Trees were close enough to prevent full extensions of awnings. Escort to site was pleasant. Seemed quiet though we were not there during a weekend and it was still busy. There are fast food and restaurants plus 1 gas station. If needing diesel you have to drive 1.5 miles away.

The folks down there were really wonderful and we look forward to staying there again. Very courteous and considerate. They also were very helpful when I had a medical problem.

Beautiful campground surrounded with lots of trees simulating you are camping in the forest! Office management was very accommodating when we ask to extend our visit, even providing an upgrade to our stay. Well maintained campground with lots of activities available!!

Everything was great, their swimming pool and Campground is beautiful, and clean. And everyone who works there was very friendly and polite.

We had the most unlevel site I have ever stayed at. The laundry facilities were nice and clean. They charge for every activity, so paying $5/person for a train ride on top of $78 to stay in a mediocre camp site really adds up.

Beautifully landscaped and well maintained. New owners have made significant improvements. Weight limit of 10 tons on road leading to campground with no way around. We just barely fit at 10 tons. Campground sent numerous texts and emails giving an alternate route for big rigs so that was very appreciated.

Just overnight mid-joirney, but it was clean, quiet, level, and easy hookups. We'll use it again.

We are traveling from Phoenix to Dunkirt, NY. The Buckeye Lake KOA has been the finest park we visited on this trip. I would highly recommend the staff and park to anyone looking for a wonderful experience.

The whole camp smelled like sewage and the bathroom near my cabin was closed and filled with junk. I had to walk far to get to an open bathroom. The cabin itself was fine, but the AC unit was older and could use updating, not as good as other KOA cabins I've stayed in. Store supplies are limited.

I highly recommend everyone to stay and enjoy this campground!! Very family oriented with numerous activities! Very clean and friendly office personnel ready to accommodate!! 5 star establishment!!

The people were great, the store had fun items to buy and ice cream. The pool Was open until 9 so adults could swim without kids. It’s important to allow some time in places without children so adults can relax.

Me and 2 of my best friends brought our 5 grand daughters 5 and under over they had such a great time with everything pool, gameroom and mining for gemstones we got lucky and it was the petting zoo weekend all the girls loved that the hayride was a big hit with them we will definitely be coming back next year

Very nice campground with shaded spots and I liked the buddy sites because we were camping with family, they might be awkward otherwise. We will return.

Great experience - Loved the patio with the swing, table and Weber Grill. Staff is incredibly friendly! The only issue we had at all is getting stuck behind someone that was emptying their tanks at exit time - should be a bypass to get around anyone using the dumping station.

The camp store had very very limited items no bread no condiments And the staff in the store was not very helpful and at times rude. The staff outside was very helpful and courteous

Overnight stay, but very organized & the bathrooms were very clean! They had so many things for a family to do, swimming, golf, basketball, volleyball… Nice place for a week or overnight!

We had a vehicle break down on our eastern US tour and were stranded just before a holiday weekend. The ENTIRE staff at Buckeye Lake were AMAZING and did everything they possibly could to make us feel welcome, safe and valued. Upon arrival we were given a site without septic at our request because we had planned to stay only one night and be on our way. Our truck broke down before the next morning so we ended up needing space for nearly 3 weeks! It was unplanned and could have been a disaster but the whole team went to work for us and helped us through our time of need. They even referred us to someone to pump out our waste tanks when needed. WAY above and beyond service! I wish every other Camp ground we have visited could take lessons from the team at Buckeye Lake! Thank you to the entire crew! We hope to visit again next year when we do our west coast and northern US tour!
