The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Some of their sites are too narrow for larger travel trailers and many flood or get huge puddles after moderate to heavy rain. There were deep ditches on our site and I didn’t notice any mosquito control being used. I think this is one of my favorite KOA parks. Lots of activities for everyone. I love the outdoor check-in and escort. Very organized and clean.

It was nice. Trees on exit drive need cutting back for large rigs. Laundry not open. Putt putt course needs upkeep. Nice staff. Nice store.

The BEST KOA! I'm always greeted by the friendly staff. I've been tent camping and travel trailer camping for almost the entire summer and Buckeye Lake KOA is always my first choice. Extremely well maintained site. Each camper/tent site is prepped before new campers arrive. Grass is cut, shower houses are immaculate. I definitely recommend this gem. Lots to do for the kids as well.

Buddy lots were all gravel, but had nice shade during most of the day. Pull through lots in the back looked very nice. Staff was very attentive and friendly. They did have activities planned for the youngsters, and a nice play area. Had a group in the cabins behind us that got obnoxious at times with their loudness, but they did tone it down at a tolerable hour. Overall would stay there again.

It is a very busy place with very tight campsites. The spacious lots are few and hard to get. The Wi-Fi service is minimal unless you pay an extra fee. The camp seems to flood easy and therefore is muddy most of the time. They need to consider trying to get more grass planted. The bright spot is the manager Rhonda. She is very responsive and communicative.

Roads were muddy with standing water. Campsite also muddy. I realize that there had been a lot of rain, but some fresh gravel would have helped.

Only stayed one night. Staff was professional, personable and helpful. When I pushed the auto leveling function my front tires ended up about four inches off the ground. I took a closer look at the site and concluded that while the parking pad was not level my auto leveling system needs to be recalibrated. A few of the turns were tight for my 43’ coach. Would definitely stay there again.

Rhonda, and the entire crew are amazing! Friendly service, wonderful sites. The new BBQs are a nice touch. Can't wait to come back next year!

The facility was convenient to the Interstate and Buckeye Lake. Nice shaded sites and lots for kids to do. My only issue was that when I made my reservations there was a 3 night minimum stay requirement due to a local area event. But they apparently did not sell out all the sites so there were numerous last minute campers that came and went with only a 1 or 2 night stay.

Advertised mini golf, jumping pad. Both was closed asked to play mini golf they stated we might get the clubs out tomorrow. Security man was flying around on golf cart for no reason ! Play area for kids was not very clean.

Amazing property. Everything is extremely well maintained, bathhouses, pool, grounds.......everything. The staff is amazingly friendly and very accommodating. We normally stay every August and hope to come back for years to come. Already have next year's reservations set!!

We were not made aware K8 cabin was moved to another location until we arrived. Parking was difficult trying to get around trees and other vehicles, nearest restroom facility closed. What about family activities, movie, bingo, ice cream, popcorn, breakfast/food etc? Rhonda was great as usual! Other staff not as friendly or as helpful as in past years. Not the same KOA we have been use to for years

Rhonda was very helpful in getting our camping club settled in. Although it was Mopar weekend, the noise level was kept at a respectful level for all campers.

Everyone very nice and helpful. The campground has a lot of trees/shade and the surrounding area has plenty to do and see. Our site was so close to the other site, and we faced each other, that it made things a bit awkward. I would recommend those sites that face each other be used for people who are camping together.

When checking in we were assigned to a very tight spot but the wonderful ladies in the front office did some maneuvering and we’re able to move us to a patio site.

Usually love my stay here, this year disappointing. Laundry room out of order huge inconvenience. If I'd known in advance I'd packed accordingly. Bath/shower room closed also big problem. Had new people with us to stay in a cabin & I stressed importance of being close to bathroom. They were not happy going farther for bathroom, which wasn't cleaned enough for extra use it got. They won't return.

Would of like to known about cabins being moved and also the restrooms being closed. It was pleasent spending nearly 400.00 to have to walk a quarter mile for the restrooms.

It was a good stay, they were accommodating when we wanted to move our site,since we were not satisfied with the original site. We had to leave early, since I had a meeting early Tuesday

We’re from out of state but we love Ohio and always make Buckeye Lake KOA our favorite and only campground when visiting. It’s close to the highway, but not to close with no traffic noise. Conveniently located to everything too.

We had a vehicle break down on our eastern US tour and were stranded just before a holiday weekend. The ENTIRE staff at Buckeye Lake were AMAZING and did everything they possibly could to make us feel welcome, safe and valued. Upon arrival we were given a site without septic at our request because we had planned to stay only one night and be on our way. Our truck broke down before the next morning so we ended up needing space for nearly 3 weeks! It was unplanned and could have been a disaster but the whole team went to work for us and helped us through our time of need. They even referred us to someone to pump out our waste tanks when needed. WAY above and beyond service! I wish every other Camp ground we have visited could take lessons from the team at Buckeye Lake! Thank you to the entire crew! We hope to visit again next year when we do our west coast and northern US tour!
