We rented a camber cabin, it was so muddy you couldn't get to our step to go up to the cabin without it being a muddy mess. Then we were cooking outside and had a little deep fryer plugged in....we blew a fuse on the main breaker. Got a hold of management, they came down and reset the fuse, it blew again. Then, rudely we were told we can't cook at all in a cabin. Would not stay again, itwasbad!

Staff was friendly and super helpful. Cabin was clean and homey. Since we went on opening weekend hickups were expected. The staff was quick to solve any issues. Wish there was more activities for the kids as many amenities had time restrictions. Would suggest calling ahead to see the times of available for jump pad, mini golf, and planned weekend activities.

Great time. I loved the Carmel coffee. Everyone helpful and pleasant. Looking forward to next visit. A little sad about breakfast not being available, but I do understand why.

Staff were excellent, responded immediately. Nothing deluxe about cabin!! There were mouse droppings on the refrigerator and kitchen counter. There was hair all over the bathroom floor. The shower floor was extremely dirty. The ceiling fan in the living room hasn’t been cleaned for quite some time and needs balanced it is so wobbly we were afraid to use. Our second visit over the summer and still overwhelms us with excitement of the beauty and very relaxing atmosphere. Activities for all ages throughout the season.

While i understand staffing is down due to COVID-19, the campground needs to consider adding a disclaimer on their website that all of the kid's activities may not be available during a stay, such as the jump pillow and such.

Main bathrooms were out of order all weekedn, and other bathrooms are closed from 2-4 every day so i guess they expect you to pee outside. They advertise breakfest but did not have one. Store had barlet any food. Staff was rude. We will never return.

We had 3 rv sites and 2 cabins. We found the staff friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It was a great week. Lots of fun things to do in and around the park!

the cabin was small 1 room. ive stayed b4 and always get a 2 room cabin. disappointing. plus cars/RVS entering was shooting cars lights straight in my eyes and face, very disappointed over all.

An older KOA inside a beautiful wooded area with gravel roads. The deluxe cabin was clean. I don't think the furnace works anymore, hence there are older space heaters. The bunk was comfortable, but the queen mattress needed replacing. A bonus was a TV in the LR and the bedroom. The refrigerator was turned up too high that it almost froze my husband's insulin. We stayed in a deluxe cabin it was very nice. The only improvement I would suggest is the showers in the far right side of the campground need to be cleaned better. There was mold growing o. The shower curtain.

We found the place very quiet and relaxing. Everyone was nice and respectful. Cabin was for the most part clean with the exception of the A/C units and minor issues in the bathroom. A periodic maintenance check of loose parts and small adjustments is not a bad idea. All in all, nice place, nice people and nice area. I would stay again.

We had a great time. The campground is very nice. The only negatives that I have is it would be better to have a small AC in each room. Also when we got to the cabin and my granddaughter was making the bunk bed, she found a pair of men's or young man's underwear between the mattress and the wall and kids socks under the bed. It made us wonder about about cleaning especially with Covid.

We loved the cabin and the Campground. There was little to do in area unless you wanted to drive 50 miles or go into Columbus. Staff couldn't have been friendlier or more accommodating.

Despite our late check-in on the day of our arrival, we were able to find our Deluxe Kabin & enjoyed a pleasant stay at the Buckeye Lake/Columbus KOA!

The cabin was mostly clean. A little dusty in some places. You could tell they did not have the staff to keep up on all of the grounds maintenance. The office staff and grounds guys were very nice. I don't understand why you need to have a monitor for the pillow pad when other KOA'a don't have them. It would have made the stay more enjoyable for the children if it was open.

Nice clean and scenic Kamp. When I tried to reserve a weekend cabin online, the results kept saying "only one left," so I hurriedly booked it (I stayed in #4). ---However, NO ONE stayed in the other three cabins either Friday or Saturday....(except possibly one person in one cabin (#1) who MAY have stayed there one night). what was THAT all about?!! Restrooms were VERY clean, thank you!

We have stayed here 3 other times and decided to stay for Labor Day weekend as a end of summer trip. We reserved online and check in was quick & easy. Cabin was clean and easy to locate. They had some activities which was fun for kids & families. Enjoyed the pool, jumping pad, arcade, mini golf & other fun activities. Store was nice it had lots of cute items to buy as well as items you may need.

appreciated that Rhoda helped us get to our cabin after a lot of rain during the day and all night. had to walk thru a lot of rain to get all packed up to leave. did not like all those cabins way in the back of the campground. big step to get in and drive way back to the cabins unclear as to where to park and no bathrooms close.staff changed our cabin to up front. thanks

We were somewhat disappointed in our stay. The cabins seemed clean at first glance, however we quickly noticed the bottoms of our feet were extremely dirty from walking across the floors. We were also disappointed because our son wanted to jump on the bounce pillow and they said that because of staff shortage that it wasn’t open. Of course that is extremely disappointing to a four year old.

Enjoyed the camp grounds. Dave the kids activity coach was so nice and fun. Pool was clean, arcade was fun too. The cabin was nice and comfortable. I wish there were pads for the outdoor chairs and swings. There was a lot of dust on floors and curtains. Cabin needed a good vacuuming and AC units had mold in them. Will rent camper next vist. Front desk associates were very nice and informativ

The owner was very polite. We called a head of time asking about renovated restrooms since all my past KOA have had them. We were told they were and they were not. Not only where the restrooms not renovated only certain ones were open which is not okay. Also our cabin only had one AC. This did NOT happen everyone had to sleep in the one room even on the floor. We will not be returning.

Beautiful campground surrounded with lots of trees simulating you are camping in the forest! Office management was very accommodating when we ask to extend our visit, even providing an upgrade to our stay. Well maintained campground with lots of activities available!!

The whole camp smelled like sewage and the bathroom near my cabin was closed and filled with junk. I had to walk far to get to an open bathroom. The cabin itself was fine, but the AC unit was older and could use updating, not as good as other KOA cabins I've stayed in. Store supplies are limited.

We had a vehicle break down on our eastern US tour and were stranded just before a holiday weekend. The ENTIRE staff at Buckeye Lake were AMAZING and did everything they possibly could to make us feel welcome, safe and valued. Upon arrival we were given a site without septic at our request because we had planned to stay only one night and be on our way. Our truck broke down before the next morning so we ended up needing space for nearly 3 weeks! It was unplanned and could have been a disaster but the whole team went to work for us and helped us through our time of need. They even referred us to someone to pump out our waste tanks when needed. WAY above and beyond service! I wish every other Camp ground we have visited could take lessons from the team at Buckeye Lake! Thank you to the entire crew! We hope to visit again next year when we do our west coast and northern US tour!
