Me and 2 of my best friends brought our 5 grand daughters 5 and under over they had such a great time with everything pool, gameroom and mining for gemstones we got lucky and it was the petting zoo weekend all the girls loved that the hayride was a big hit with them we will definitely be coming back next year

We were not made aware K8 cabin was moved to another location until we arrived. Parking was difficult trying to get around trees and other vehicles, nearest restroom facility closed. What about family activities, movie, bingo, ice cream, popcorn, breakfast/food etc? Rhonda was great as usual! Other staff not as friendly or as helpful as in past years. Not the same KOA we have been use to for years

Would of like to known about cabins being moved and also the restrooms being closed. It was pleasent spending nearly 400.00 to have to walk a quarter mile for the restrooms.

Friendly staff. The restrooms near our cabin were closed, which was a disappointment. There was a nice walking path. It had rained before our arrival and lots of mud puddles to navigate. We inquired about a deluxe cabin and were told none were available, although one near us looked vacant. We guessed that they do not have the staff to service some at this point. Overall a good KOA to visit.

awesome place, clean and friendly, Jimmy , one of the security gentleman was just a grin and Super nice to everyone he met.. we went on chocolate lovers weekend and the kids had a blast along with the adults watching them do the chocolate slip and slide. wood highly recommend to anyone. As usual, we loved our weekend stay! Cabin is perfect for me and my 2 kids. We enjoyed all the activities and things to do at the park! Already looking forward to our next weekend there!

Since it was my grandson's birthday present from his aunt and myself, the weekend of camping and fishing went over big time. We all really enjoyed our stay. Lots of activities for an 11 year old. Our visitors enjoyed it also with their grandchildren

We had a small issue with the cabin and we were moved to another one and we really appreciated the quick response to do so. I liked the campgrounds and that it was close to the lake. I've been to a few KOA's, all out of state, the only thing I think needs to be done is to move the old truck and trailers, work on the putt putt golf area and clean up where the firetruck sits or put a fence there.

Our cabin was tucked back into the woods, which was lovely. Some others were in the middle of rows of tightly-packed RVs, which wouldn’t have been as nice. The bathroom building closest to us was under construction, so we had to walk a little farther, but the bathroom was clean.

SAD TO SAY DELUXE CABIN NOT CLEAN UPON MY ARRIVAL,HAD TO GET SOMEONE TO CLEAN IT. THE AIR CONDITIONER TOO LOUD AND SMELLY,HAD TO KEEP TURNING IT OFF.THEN THERE WAS A MAJOR LEAK UNDER POCKETDOORS TO MY ROOM.TOLD THE LADY WITH LONG RED HAIR,AS I CHECKED OUT EARLY.ONLY STAYED FROM 3:30PM UNTIL 10:30AM.THE BEES WERE SWARMING UNDER CABIN AND THE STRONG SMELL OF SEWER.LEFT VERY SADDENED.��

Excellent deluxe cabin. Somewhat disorganized, had to find security to get out key. Front office staff forgot to put out paperwork and key for late arrival! The person who came to give us the key and paperwork our was not very professional and did not focus on helping us.

Stay was ok. The deluxe cabin during our stay needs some much needed updates. Outside needs the most work, deck needs to be replaced, alot of rotting wood. As for the inside, was very dusty....hair hanging from the first fan, couch needs replacement....shower needs a very good cleaning or replacement. Thank You

Great campground with plenty to do for grandkids. Close to area attractions also. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and facilities was clean. Would recommend coming to this campground.

Stayed in a deluxe cabin for 4th of July weekend 2021. Great facility, but our cabin (deluxe 2), badly needs a deep cleaning. Bare floors dirty (socks almost black from walking on it), and lots of accumulated dust in hard-to-reach places (especially on the fan in the bedroom). Shower head disgusting and very little water pressure. Aside from this, we were satisfied with our stay.

July 4th. Weekend. Pros: easy check in and check out. Campground was clean. Kabin was cleanish. Staff was very helpful, accommodating, and cared about the service. Cons: Not all the bath houses were open when the park was at capacity. Those that were open were not cleaned often enough for the amount of people using them. They nickeled and dimed you for things. IE: visitors, pets, & kids.

We enjoyed our time! The pool was very nice: large and clean. We stayed in a deluxe cabin and it was wonderful! The jump pad is only open certain hours and we kept missing the slots. We enjoyed renting the big-wheels bikes. The campground smelled like manure, not sure what that was about. The playground is a little old. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend it.

We were asked to get out of the pool during regular swim hours so the mowers could mow. My father in-law nearly fell through a rotten board on the deck. We were told the shuffle board equipment was broken. We were asked to get off the pedal bikes 1 min after we got on so they could lock them up, there were no hours posted. The amenities are in poor condition, the staff was not very friendly

We rented a cabin you couldn’t even take a shower there was no water pressure whatsoever something was leaking inside possibly the air conditioner air conditioner in the living room was so noisy we had a shut it off the kitchen sink there’s a lot to be said for it’s pretty bad A lot of work was being done in that campground That week we didn’t expect. We left a day early

Things were very nice to the extent we were able to use. We were mainly looking for a one night stop on a much longer trip. Some of the amenities were not available due to pandemic recovery. As always, I would like the price to be lower for a cabin with no bathroom, but it was nice to have A/C on this particular day.

the cabin was a little run down. The porch was in need of paint and leaves from the fall were still there. Itwould take only a few seconds to blow off. I walk inside and leaves on the floor, mold in the bathroom. The coffee pot had mold. The sofa mattress was very dirty. Light bulb out and had to stand on chair to regulate fan. Floor was very dirty in corners. The grill was a mess. I cleaned best

We stayed in the Tiny cabin. We weren't told we had to bring linen or pillows. We stayed in Cabin 6-6. We went out for the evening and came back and could not park by our cabin. We called but the office was closed at that time. We never got a call back. We had to park and walk a long distance even though we have a handicap tag. We couldn't find signage as to where we were to drop key at???

we are usually trailer campers , had to make a quick trip east and decided to utilize koa cottages, this cottage we payed in advance , was very warm inside, hot weather we got in at 1145pm , a/c was not on and my wifes feet were brown within 10 minutes of walking barefoot on the cottage floor, alot of cobwebs around kitchen cabinets as well. we will not recommend cabins,cottages, due to cost.

We had a vehicle break down on our eastern US tour and were stranded just before a holiday weekend. The ENTIRE staff at Buckeye Lake were AMAZING and did everything they possibly could to make us feel welcome, safe and valued. Upon arrival we were given a site without septic at our request because we had planned to stay only one night and be on our way. Our truck broke down before the next morning so we ended up needing space for nearly 3 weeks! It was unplanned and could have been a disaster but the whole team went to work for us and helped us through our time of need. They even referred us to someone to pump out our waste tanks when needed. WAY above and beyond service! I wish every other Camp ground we have visited could take lessons from the team at Buckeye Lake! Thank you to the entire crew! We hope to visit again next year when we do our west coast and northern US tour!
