There is ample opportunity to explore the mountains throughout the seasons. Summer adventures include music and art festivals, Longmire Days, plenty of mountain exploration and great weather. Fall is an excellent time to hunt, hike and view wildlife. In winter, there are ample trails to hike, cross country ski, snowshoe, snowmobile or enjoy downhill skiing at Meadowlark. The seasons give a varied perspective on the mountains we love to call home! Given our close proximity to the mountains, streams, lakes and great public hunting areas, we are a wonderful base camp for hunting and fishing all season. Buffalo has lots of social opportunities to engage with the local community including the theater, musical acts, galas for a variety of organizations, trivia night at both the Occidental and Crazy Woman lounge, pickleball tournaments, parades, Christmas Market and more.
