This KOA is very kid and family friendly! The lower rating is due to very tight RV spots and amount of flies.

The whole place is a gorgeous kampground, however the brand new bathroom had so many cockroaches that they clogged up the drains and we also found a murder hornet!

Overall definitely worth the price, but there were some issues with the condition of the AC, table and chairs, grill and front door. However the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will likely look here first if we need a place to stay in Burk!

Only thing I can see is store hours. I'd open later and stay open later. People are more likely to use store in evening than morning.

This is a gorgeous park with cute little cabins. We checked in late and left early but the park was perfect for the kids and the pool was clean. I wish time constraints allowed us more time there.

Process done online which was super easy but emailed On the safe side as we stayed in a rooftop tent. Lori the manager got back to me very quickly. Arrived after 6pm and grabbed the map. It’s a small site but adequately spaced out. Can hear traffic but wasn’t too bad kinda like white noise to me. Super windy until about 8 but dies down at night. Enjoyed the showers as well. I’d stay again!

We stayed in a small cabin and accommodations were more than sufficient with small fridge and even a TV!

The Friendly staff worked with us on changing our camping site. The camp has large, level sites with trees. There are also cabins to rent. The restrooms were updated and had a nice, clean spa look to them. Beautiful pool & playground for families to enjoy. Future plans include additional camping and dog park. A great KOA!

Such amazing reception. Our first time rving and we were unprepared. Our host was so kind and helpful. Beautiful grounds with pool and playgrounds for the kids. We will be back and thank you!

I arrived at 7:45 pm (as indicated in the reservation). There were instructions/paperwork for other guests, but not for me. Someone was already at my site. Reservation #: 5197773. Per my reservation: "Hi david, Your reservation to stay at Burkburnett / Wichita Falls KOA has been completed and we've got a spot in the great outdoors with your name on it. See you soon!" - but no spot for me.

Cabin #4 (a/k/a tiny house) was the best I have stayed in compared to other "cabins" at other KOAs. My only issue was with the WI-FI. I kept getting disconnected and then could not get reconnected.

We had problems with the electrical hook-up. When we checked in we were told it was a 50amp site so we connected everything like is was 50amps but our a/c system wouldn’t run and our house batteries wouldn’t charge.

The park is easy to access but not gated and the parking slips are very close together. The park was clean enough but we left a day early because the mosquitoes were unbearable. Spoke with other campers who felt the same.

Verymarginal wifi, low electric power (108 to 112 V). Very nice lady at check-in. It appears they are expanding with additional sites. Hope they improve electric service and wifi.

Nice place, nice people. There was expansion going on and construction started before 7:00 am on the first day we were there. That wasn’t great but otherwise a very nice place.

Great place to stay, very nice hosts! Cabin was spotless. This was a splurge for us, we usually tent camp, the kitchen was super, and it even had a full size fridge. Was disappointed to not see any tent sites, they are on the map but we couldn't find them.

During the pandemic, I was expecting the cabin to be epic and span... it was not! The front sliding door was not clean, floors had dust, kitchen and bathroom sink dirty! Needed a good wipe with chlorox! The sheets were clean and we did have clean towels... but the rest needs work! WiFi was not good! And AC UNITS... too small for that place.

This place was amazing, the staff was super friendly, their pool area is perfect. The only problem is that there are no BBQ's or firepits to be able to cook outside with. Otherwise definitely recommend this place.

Person mowing grass at the site we were in while we were trying to connect to leave. Had to wave her off so we could finish. Cery inconsiderate!

This is a really nice KOA. Friendly staff, clean park and quiet. This is our second time here, usually just a stop over but worth it.
