We did not sleep well during our stay. The neighbor started up a fire in a fire pit directly behind our cabin. The smoke wafted into the cabin through the window with the AC unit (AC was off). It’s not necessary for a fire pit to be that close to a cabin and it was frustrating that our stay and sleep was disturbed by a neighbor able to burn a untended fire behind our cabin rather than their own.

Unfortunately we didn't stay long. Arrived at 1am. Left at 9 am. But we would love to come back and enjoy the campground. We had to leave early due to weather getting really bad. Drove thru an ice storm to get home. But staff was friendly and gave a full refund for our second night that we couldn't stay. Will definitely come back!

Front desk lady is super nice! The cabin was really clean and well kept up and stocked up on basic supplies. It's really nice and quiet. We will stay again!!!

Amazing KOA! Employees are amazing, clean bathrooms, laundry facility is amazing! Spots are clean and large easy access! Will definitely be back! This KOA is very close to many great places to visit!!

We enjoyed the same comfortable cabin twice this month. Once on the way north, to visit our National Parks and Monuments. Then, again, on our way back home to East Texas. Particularly convenient as we like the refrigerator and the stove as essential to our accommodation. Don't eat at restaurants every meal. Also, quiet, country setting. We love it! The cabin is nice and clean. We like the coziness. Towels are very clean and fresh. One comment we have is that the shower drain is clogged and causing water standing during shower. The water drainage in the shower is poor. Hope that KOA will fix the shower drain clog.

We enjoyed our stay in the Deluxe Cabin. It was fully furnished with everything we needed including a small container of coffee in the refrigerator! The towels and washcloths were very soft and nice. My only concern is that the shower floor was very, very slippery! I would suggest putting in some shower mats. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I've visited each month throughout this summer and I love it there.. Very clean, customer service is awesome, salt water pool is nice too. I highly recommend Burkburnett KOA�

Overall definitely worth the price, but there were some issues with the condition of the AC, table and chairs, grill and front door. However the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will likely look here first if we need a place to stay in Burk!

Such amazing reception. Our first time rving and we were unprepared. Our host was so kind and helpful. Beautiful grounds with pool and playgrounds for the kids. We will be back and thank you!

Cabin #4 (a/k/a tiny house) was the best I have stayed in compared to other "cabins" at other KOAs. My only issue was with the WI-FI. I kept getting disconnected and then could not get reconnected.

Great place to stay, very nice hosts! Cabin was spotless. This was a splurge for us, we usually tent camp, the kitchen was super, and it even had a full size fridge. Was disappointed to not see any tent sites, they are on the map but we couldn't find them.

During the pandemic, I was expecting the cabin to be epic and span... it was not! The front sliding door was not clean, floors had dust, kitchen and bathroom sink dirty! Needed a good wipe with chlorox! The sheets were clean and we did have clean towels... but the rest needs work! WiFi was not good! And AC UNITS... too small for that place.

Easy after hours check-in. Pool open 24 hours was wonderful! Maybe turn on the A/C when someone is coming after hours and it is 105 outside? Cabin was spotless and fully stocked; the bed was super comfortable. First time staying in a KOA cabin and it was wonderful! thank you!

Had fun. Enjoying chilling by the pool with friends and family. Cabin #3 is a great place to spend the weekend. Perfect place for the kids cause they have their own room, (the loft). It has two twin mattress with bedding, (bedding at the office, just ask).

Stayed in two different cabins both were very nice will try and stay in a cabin every time I travel to Burkburnett TX. Which is quite often .the staff is very curtious and helpful great place to stay

We stayed in the largest cabin and have a couple of suggestions. The kitchen area is very dark for cooking in the evening. It would be helpful to have an overhead light, not just over the sink. The largest cabin had the smallest deck. A picnic table at the bottom of the deck would have been nice since the deck was too small to have any chairs on.

Manager was nice and readily available. The deluxe 2 story was perfect for us and super comfy beds! Wished it had central heat as it was only 8° and the space heaters were too small. Would stay there again, however.

I had been staying at KOA in Burkburnett TX for the last four years. They changed managements so I did not stay there this trip because they raised my price form near $750. for ten days to $1200. I canceled my stay. I had payed $125. deposit and did not get that back. I stayed at Best Western in Burkburnett for $760.00 for Ten Nights. I feel the owe me the $125.00 Deposit .

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The rate did not increase. The previous owner must have ran a different special when you stayed before. I am sorry for your inconvenience. All of your money was refunded to you. The $124.07 that you paid when you made the reservation was refunded to the card ending in 8204. We have to refund the card that was used. I have just resent the receipt showing the refund to your email.

As always polite staff, the only thing not 5 stars is the sticker problem. That said I know it is very difficult to keep them out of the grass. We always stay in their cabins over the local hotels.

We were completely satisfied with the site and cabin. Would suggest that the chairs in cabin be repaired or replaced. They are weak and wobble. Thank you David Hubl
