The grounds are very clean, the pool and hot tub clean and refreshing. The ground attendants very nice and always keeping things tidy. The only thing that bothered me are the lazy people that let their dogs poop and pee on everything and not clean up after them.

Loved it as usual. However we were a bit confused on the campsite and apparently ended up in the wrong one even after asking someone that worked there. Someone that brought another tent camper back said that’s why they are supposed to bring us back to verify the correct site. Other than that great stay!

Our escort Dan couldn’t have been friendlier and more helpful to us…as well as Aron …. they Have made us K O A happy! Front desk was totally awesome ..what a great spot we will be back

This was the first time in coming there for over 20 years that I was not satisfied. The front desk staff could and should do a better job!

We stayed in a deluxe cabin, and it perfect. From the porch there's a great view of the sunset. The staff was very accommodating.

Wow, everything we needed for our stay in a deluxe cabin, was supplied. I'm just so impressed. We stay often in our camper but this is the first time we used a cabin. We didn't know what we'd need so we waited til we got there...and found everything right there. It was a beautiful clean cabin. We'll tell all our friends. Thanks OBX KOA!

Everyone was so kind and helpful. We are definitely returning to this KOA. We enjoyed everyday of our stay and loved all the amenities. The store was well stocked. Everyone was so friendly that we miss them now that we are home.

We had a nice time and the location is great but the laundry rooms and bathrooms were very dirty. There was drywall repair in the bathrooms that never got finished. The grounds were filled with cigarette butts and they were dirty empty beer cans under campers of workers.Hot tub was dirty and full of sand.Many of the outside buildings needed to be painted. Not resort Quality. Curb appeal lacking

Fairly nice place, great beach, great pool, laundry. Wi-fi is USELESS and should be much better in this day of online streaming and computer use.

This is so far my favorite KOA. Its right on the beach and that pool, what more can you ask for from a fall stay. Big spacious sites and helpful staff with a well stocked store - there is no need to even leave the grounds. Hopefully one time I am there when the poolside tiki bar is open but that's my fault for visiting so late in the year. We will be back in October of 2022.

Stayed in an RV in October. 2 days of sun and 2 days of rain and wind. Enjoyed being so close to the beach. Didn’t use most of the facilities, but appreciated them being there.

DO NOT TENT HERE. We are from WAY out of town, weren't familiar with OBX weather - Wish staff would have told us not to tent camp there and instead should've advised renting a cabin. In talking to locals after we arrived, they continuously implied that strong winds and flooding are typical of the area. Mgmt did nothing to help us salvage our tenting trip, yet charged in full. Lots of $$$ in damage

Overall, we had a great stay! It rained most of the time, but our site did not suffer (others in the park did have some flooding though). Facilities were great - bath houses were clean & outside showers/foot wash were conveniently placed. Hot tub/pool were sparkling and the game room was fun! My only complaint is that most of the staff members we encountered were not very friendly or welcoming.

For the most part, all was good. Went during Columbus weekend so it was crowded.. bathrooms could use more cleaning throughout the day. Soap dispenser out for two days we were there. I think that charging $2 for k-cup coffee was a little much. Invest in a big coffee pot for mornings and just give a free cup out to folks. Pool and hot tub great.. access to beach great.

This was our first time at this KOA. The campground was great. A lot of amenities. Staff was friendly. Other campers were friendly. The weather did not cooperate, but we enjoyed our stay anyway!

I would have rated the campground higher but we reported a problem with the door on Monday, was told maintenance would be there at 10. At 11:30 we called and asked if maintenance could come later in the day. No one showed. An employee told us they wouldn't do a work order until after we vacated. The door was barely hanging by the top hinge. Surprised at the lack of concern of this problem

We really enjoyed our stay. The beach was lovely, our dog enjoyed the large K-9 area, and every single person we encountered was super nice and friendly.

The AC unit in cabin 518 is in bad shape. It makes very loud banging noises on a regular interval when on. We had to turn it off to get any sleep. Only one of the soap dispensers in the women's bathroom works. The showers could use a good deep cleaning. But, the pool and walkin access to the beach was nice. Some more healthy food options and 24 hour access to an ice machine would be helpful.

Despite a very rainy weekend, we had a great stay at the campground. Staff is very accommodating and Sheilas restaurant on the campground is very tasty! Cant wait to go back.

Great camp ground. They dont pack trailers on top of each other to make an extra dollar so that is a big plus. They have employees actually drive you to your site and help you get into them instead of giving you a map and saying see ya later. I know experienced drivers probably wont care but to a new guy it make a difference. Everyone who worked there that we dealt with was always helpful.

We had a wonderful time. My only complaint is every time I used the bath house, it was dirty. Otherwise it was on par for most KOA Resorts.

Loves this Koa! Their shower house is the best shower house we have experienced at a campground! The lovely lady in front office is sweet as pie :) and the dog park was always nice and clean for our precious fur babies
