Love the Deluxe cabins and that dogs are permitted to stay here! Enjoy the beach and the sound, sunrises and sunsets! Had one issue where our grill had no gas left in the tank and it was taken care of immediately. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Can not wait to return.

We enjoyed our stay. KOA with beachfront sites and access to sound waters. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Sites are just a little close but not terribly.

Disgruntled employees makes for poor customer service. Also, kids are treated poorly. We lost power in our cabin, and it took hours to get wood/ice delivered. Overall good stay, but could have been much better.

Had a great stay enjoyed the area and grand sons enjoyed the pool , train ride , and jumping pillow. The only complaint I had was the lot I was on #225 needs some leveling it was pretty one sided and my motor home couldn’t level up we finally got some blocks under wheels and a lot was better. Petty I know but I see where it could be leveled more with a little scraping with a tractor.

Excellent place to stay!! Very close to the beach. Only negative would be our campsite (226) was not very level had to use picnic table to help get onto RV step would love to see more concrete pads. Overall would definitely stay here again!!

We had a great stay with all the amenities possible. The only negative I have is that the shower house was dirty at the end of the day. Maybe cleaning them twice a day would help if not already done. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone!

My son and I had a great time and made lots of friends. We hung out with new friends at there camper and had marshmallows along with seeing there Pokémon cards.

Very disappointed this time. Checkin our lady was not kind very short with me. Our cabin heat was on and would not turn off plus the bathroom light was a mess. Guy came fix the heat said would be back for the light and never did. Two cabins and over 1000 dollars very disappointed. The Parkers

There were a lot of areas that were very run down. The kamp k-9 was full of dog poop so much that we couldn’t let our dogs run free there. We were also charged for propane that we did not purchase.

We have stayed here many times. Always had a great experience. Our only complaint is the people/kids walking through our campsite to get to the kids bounce pillow instead of walking around as they should. Not sure how to go about handling this other than what did which was to tell them to stop which can cause friction situations.

personally been coming here for 6 years, the group that we represent has been staying here for 21 years. accommodations are nice and well maintained. staff is friendly and helpful. location is well located so day trips north or south are easy. there are many local shops and restaurants nearby. the weather this year was SPECTACULAR for the last week in Sept. can hardly wait for next year!

We are new to the camping world. We rented a deluxe cabin as well as a rustic. I was surprised to not have fitted twin sheets in the deluxe cabin. I would have liked a small heads up so I could have brought my own, but that is something you learn for the next trip. Overall we had PERFECT weather, and could have only asked for more time spent here. The property has all the entertainment needs.

Loved the location next to the ocean, but the sites were just too narrow for any kind of privacy at all. In fact with the neighbors slide out, we could not use our fire pit without burning their RV. The site sand was really nasty dirty as well and fresh sand should be brought in where there is no grass. The mens bathroom at the entry to the beach was not cleaned well every during our week there.

A cabin stay for 3 days. Other friends/family camped and stayed in other cabins. Our cabin was clean and easily accessible to pool and ocean

Overall a good experience . Was not too happy that the restaurant was closed on Wednesday . There were no notification . My wife and I walked there for breakfast and not even a note on the door . She has severe health issues so it was a big deal for her to make that walk . Late check in and still had to wait . Saw a couple of roaches . We will return and hope those issues are fixed .

When I first arrived the bathrooms were dirty and showers were filthy. I'm really glad that I carry Lysol wipes with me so I could wipe down the shower before I took my first one. But after we said something they were all clean. Thank you for paying attention to us. I always love my time at Cape Hatteras KOA.

My wife and I stayed in a cabin thus trip and it was a good experience. Everyone was very friendly. My only 1 complaint is that I had a cockroach on me in the middle of the night. I know because I woke up and it was still on the ground next to the bed.

Site was right next to the ocean so we listened to the waves all day and night. When we were in need of assistance in setting up they were there with in a minutes after we called. Dave was very helpful in helping us with an item we were unable to do due to physical limitations. He said he would be checking on us everyday during our week long stay to see if we needed any help. He was true his word.

Rented a pet friendly cabin, it was nice, but in bad need of repainting, thorough cleaning to rid musty (not pet) smell. The cabin had roaches crawling around killed several each day/night we were there. Daylight crack under door sure didn't help situation with the roaches I’m sure. Overall campground was nice and quite.

We loved the closeness and access to beach. Being able to see the sound from back of deck was amazing! Also not having to go through a lobby or elevator made us feel safe from the covid. Restaurant had great food w/lots of options and pool area was beautiful! However the roach/palmetto bugs were disappointing. Door on inside needs cleaning/painting and does not seal at bottom. Hence bug entry.

Most sites are oriented so that you have no shade. They are more about cramming them in than providing a good experience. We did move closer to the ocean (at a higher cost), but much nicer and orientation gave us some shade all day.

Gorgeous campground. Large pool and hot tub, delicious food at the Cafe, stocked store, friendly staff, good wifi, lots of cable channels, large clean showers and affordable laundry machines. Just a few steps to the beautiful beach and great sunsets on the bay side. Even the ride to the campground is amazing. So much to see and do around the area too. Definitely needs to be on your bucket list.

Beautiful campground. Access to the beach. Sunrise over the ocean. They remember my dogs name and gave him treats. The bathrooms were clean. The laundromat was great. We would definitely stay again �

Wonderful stay! The staff was courteous and helpful making it always a pleasure to stay here. Stefanie at the check in went out of her way to get us on the site we preferred and Matt was helpful throughout the weekend with wood and ice. These guys are always quick to assist and will never be caught without a smile. Even while my dog was barking like crazy at Matt. Thanks again. Pat and Cat

The campground and amenities were really great. The bathhouse nearest our cabin was fairly clean but didn't seem to be cleaned every day (you could tell by toothpaste stains in the sink). The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our camping cabin was very clean but the door was broken and didn't close all the way. It was fine but I could see that being a problem if it was really cold outside.

Loves this Koa! Their shower house is the best shower house we have experienced at a campground! The lovely lady in front office is sweet as pie :) and the dog park was always nice and clean for our precious fur babies
