We normally don't have issues at the KOA's where we stay this, we had one here. We happened to show up earlier than expected and were turned away, OK rules need to be followed, understood ; however the family in the cabins in front of us came early as well and, were allowed to check in. They had to pay extra ,which would have been fine with us had it been offered. We where told 3 was check in.

Very nice campground and most of the staff seemed nice. Large pool and some things for kids to do Overall good experience. The cabin could have been cleaner.

We love Roadanthe KOA, we've stayed many times. This time we stayed in a deluxe cabin--it was not clean upon arrival. Hair in floor, crumbs all over the counter and toaster, the toilet was disgusting.

the spot was a little cramped for 32 foot plus slide out, hard to park truck in front or beside camper without being in road

Awesome location, many on-site attractions/activities to occupy yourself if you don't feel like venturing far. Attentive and helpful staff.

All employees were extremely nice and helpful: Toby, Kathy, and Jim stand out in particular. I love how clean everything is, especially the bathroom/shower areas. I love being able to be right next to the dunes and hear the waves reaching the beach. I love being so close to the beach and being able to practice casting/fishing with very few people around. I love feeling safe.

We experienced power issues the first day and night. When we reported it, they immediately sent someone out. He clean some things and tested it and said he found no problems. However, we had no other issues the rest of our trip. Additionally they charges us some kind of site lock fee for both sites so we could be side by side. After a half hour conversation they agreed to refund. Otherwise great!!

GREAT THANKSGIVING DINNER! WAS TOLD MY CABIN HAD HEAT BUT DIDNT. WAITED FOR 2 DAYS TO RECIEVE FIREWOOD I HAD ORDERED. BATH HOUSE LEAVES ALOT TO BE DESIRED! ALL IN ALL WE STILL HAD A GOOD TIME SITE SEEING.

There was a dead roach by door of the of my suite. The entry light didn't work, the ceiling fan wasn't secure to the ceiling so it made a knocking noise when I had it on. The cleaning crew left someone else's dirty wash rag on top of the shower curtain in my room and the floor didn't seem like it was mopped because my socks were FILTHY from walking on the floor.

Having never stayed at a KOA before we weren't sure what to expect. We originally booked a Rustic Cabin but soon found out that it was not going to work for our stay. The staff was eager to help make things better and quickly, and seamlessly, upgraded us to a Deluxe Cabin for the remainder of our stay. The location was extremely clean and the staff were fantastic! We will certainly be back!

Beautiful campground and location. We were just a short walk from the beach. Very nice bathrooms - clean and well maintained. The staff was very helpful and very pleasant - makes the stay so much better.

Our recent stay was extremely pleasant. My interaction with the folks in the office as well as those around the site was nice. All questions were answered. I have to say the texts messages were a nice thing. Never before at any camp place have I experienced that, it’s a great addition. We’ll definitely be back. We do like the off season visits. It something we, my wife and I, enjoy. TOPS!

We had an issue with the power in our cabin and had to call the after hours number for help. David the maintenance supervisor sorted it out promptly and was very helpful. He even brought back some toys for my son. Super sweet. Every time I have stayed at this KOA has been great though so I would expect nothing more!

Great event on Thanksgiving night, deluxe cabin very clean and comfortable to stay. It's our second visit during 2021 and we'll be back, friendly team members and fair prices at the store.

For the most part our stay was very enjoyable. However we were there over the Thanksgiving weekend and found that the sites were very tight. If we had to leave, it would have been very difficult to get out. We enjoyed the beautiful beach, sunsets and found your staff to be very friendly and helpful. If we were to come back it would be off season and not over a holiday. All and all we love KOA!

Wonderful from the first call to set up our vacation. We became koa resort members! Coustomer service is fantastic! So helpful and kind. Very pleased with them. The resort is wonderful. Very well kept. They are very helpful. For Thanksgiving dinner they had a wonderful dinner set up for the campers, we all brought a dish to share. It was fabulous. We will be booking a vacation for next year.

Our stay started out on a very disappointing note. We booked our reservation on March 1, 2021. We did not request a specific site. We did ask to be next to our daughter. They said they could put us in 116 & 117. I told them that this would work great for us. But when we got there we were put in different sites and we were not together. I was told that a new system changed our sites. So upset!

it was real nice. only a few things. the sticky things on ground are not fun. plus if customers want to drive to store. there is no parking area. at least i did not find any.

Loved the text updates as we were out and about, they were very helpful! The only pitfall and was probably my own doing is my sight was way to cramped for my trailer. My next visit I will be sure to book a sight much better suited for my camper! The guide who escorted me through was not very helpful, he went way to fast for the conditions to take me into my sight.

I didn't really use the bathrooms or shower houses so I can't speak to those but the proximity to the beach is incredible. We didn't have water when we first arrived but the office communicated via text about it and it didn't take long to have it back (we didn't need it right away so it wasn't a big deal). They did a Thanksgiving dinner which was wonderful. The staff is super friendly!

While the majority of the campground was in great shape, the showers were a huge disappointment. All 8 of them were out of order when I attempted to use them. Either the lights were out, the shower head was hanging and broken, the drain was clogged, or the door didn't lock. I can understand one or two being down, but all 8? I guess only summer campers get working facilities.

For me, it was too big and the other campers were too close to me. In fact, one of the other campers parked their RV right next the my fire ring and left me with no ring to use unless I wanted to use an extra one that was sitting inches from the road. Also, highway traffic too loud fort thing in the morning. Nice shop though.

Loves this Koa! Their shower house is the best shower house we have experienced at a campground! The lovely lady in front office is sweet as pie :) and the dog park was always nice and clean for our precious fur babies
