Staff was very friendly and helpful( from the owner down to the gentleman picking up trash) They went above and beyond to assist us .. Also the Thanksgiving dinner was a wonderful treat -and very much appreciated !! Only thing I would recommend is heat in the bathroom/shower room. Thanks again…

Location is great. A lot of amenities. This is our second year and is quickly becoming our favorite spot. Dune site 105 is very convenient for us and our kiddos for beach access. Highly recommend

It was too short my husband became sick. But it was a very nice place and would love to go back for a longer period of time.

Overall very happy. Unfortunately on our second last night a large group had arrived and were staying in the cabins next to us and behind us. They were very loud and had kids running up and down the stairs and shouting until around 2 in the morning. Then at 4 in the morning the adults right next to us got in a very loud screaming match that went on until around 5am. No sleep at all that night.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I'd like to especially send a shout out to your head of maintenance. He helped us with the TV in the room and provided information wrt the island since we've never visited so late in the year before. He took care of our issue quickly and was a pleasure to work with. His enthusiasm for his job is something sorely missing these days.

First time staying at a KOA and we lived every minute of it. The staff is super friendly and helped in so many ways. We will definitely be back!!

Lots of coachroaches in our deluxe cabin. There was a huge gap in the main bedroom where our little friends were coming in. It was the worst first night ever! They did spray for us the second day but we still all slept in the bunk beds. No way we would rent a cabin again there. I could have stayed in a nice hotel for the price we paid this time of year. We should have received a partial refund.

Enjoyed our stay. Very clean. Had a view of sunsets over the sound. Didn’t use any of the other facilities because it was November. Will definitely be back in spring!

We are relatively new to RV camping and decided to take one last trip for the season by visiting the Outer Banks. Everything was easy from check-in to leaving on our last day. Bathrooms were clean. We liked the family / self contained bathrooms with shower, sink and toilet. Garbage collection was wonderful. Staff were all ready to answer questions and assist in any way.

We always have a great time at your KOA. We live in the mountains and we come see you when my husband needs his ocean fix. Absolutely beautiful.

Showers are great!! I like the private rooms. It makes me feel at home! You could add a few more hooks one on the wall near the shower.

Had a great stay and host were very friendly. When we departed I left my water pressure regulator on the water connection. The host called me after we got home and asked if it was ours. I asked the host could they mail it to me and they stated they would if I paid the postage. So nice they contacted me; way beyond excellent service.

We had a wonderful stay. We were in the Outer Banks for our wedding. Our whole wedding party was able to book cabinS and spaces at the campground which was very convenient for us and we were able to use the campgrounds facilities as our venue for our wedding.

Location was good. But for a KOA that charges as much for a cabin in November as a nice hotel room, it was disappointing. The deluxe cabin didn't have heat, had no hot water for the shower and the lights in the mini kitchen area did not work. Neither the office staff nor the ground staff were helpful. Finally gave up asking and went and bought our own trash bags. Expected a little better.

Outstanding folks working there from the store staff to the grounds maintenance, every employee there was very friendly. Out of the 3 Resort KOA's we have been to, this one far surpasses the other 2. Our friends don't have a camper, but here that doesn't matter as they have cabins AND a 3 story Hotel attached to the store which is well stocked. The week here was the best trip we made in 3 years.

Deluxe cabin was dirty. We had cockroaches. They did come out and spray but it was unsettling and uncomfortable. Toaster did not work and only half of the grill worked. EXTREMELY rude call from an employee at about 8:00 pm one day into my stay asking why I had not checked and how I got a golf cart. I was clearly checked in and paid. Overall not a good experience.

Had reservations for November 11-15. Highway 12 was closed the previous weekend into the early part of week we were set to arrive from ocean overwash and we decided not to drive 5 hours not knowing what the conditions would be. Then y’all charged the full amount to my card. This place is nothing but crooks.

We will stay again. The property is fun and maintained. The deluxe cabin-the view was amazing, cleanliness was subpar. The unit was dusty/ bed skirt was riddled with dirt. The exhaust fan flap for the microwave caught wind and flapped all night. I made the mistake of dropping my wallet while walking-staff called me to let me know a grounds keeper found it but the cash was gone when returned.

Loves this Koa! Their shower house is the best shower house we have experienced at a campground! The lovely lady in front office is sweet as pie :) and the dog park was always nice and clean for our precious fur babies
