This was our second time staying at your KOA. Your campground is so beautiful, clean and safe. But most of all, the staff is amazing! Very friendly and kind. This is very important to us as new campers. They answered all of our questions and were very eager to please. From the maintenance helpers, to the cleaning crew, to the folks in the office, Thank You!! We will be back!!

My daughter and I rented an oceanfront cottage for a girls weekend and it did not disappoint! It had everything you could ever need and more. The views were amazing and the cottage was as clean as anywhere I have ever stayed. I will definitely be back!

Such great improvements since we were there a few months ago. The cabin was clean and had all basic needs for camping. Facilities were clean. Happy people working...friendly. It could have been a little warmer the first couple days, but you can't control that. So this is a 2 thumbs up visit. See you in a couple months.

The staff in general acted like they didn't want anyone bothering them. When I tried to get help with the wifi no one ever bothered to get back in touch with me. I tried calling the office and it went directly to voicemail. The wifi kept going out and considering how empty the campground was that does not make any sense. The cabin we stayed in could use work.

It was Extremely cold, We did not get notified the place did not having a heater, the poor neighbors went to their car in the middle of the night. I was very disappointed because we have electric blankets at home, We have a good space heater, that we could have use. I understand the weather was going to be bad, you should take the time to inform your customers about the situation staying there.

Everything was great but the bed was hard and made the experience not as great. A good night sleep goes a long way. The grounds, the cottage, the views and the staff was one of the greatest experiences ever. Thank you.

We stayed in Deluxe cabin. Everything was clean and well kept. We enjoyed our stay.

Exceeded my expectations! Wow! The cabin cleanliness and amenities were outstanding! We could not have had a better stay! Also, some pretty severe storms blew through during our visit but the cabin endured it with NO issues. We were snug as a bug in a rug while Mother Nature did her thing. It was phenomenal.

We stayed in a suite in the main building which was very comfortable. A corner unit with kitchen, full bath, two very comfortable queen beds and a balcony looking towards the ocean (overlooking the pool). Cable tv, lots of windows, well stocked Camp Store.

Our cabin walls leaked water, the door was about a quarter inch from the frame and the wind blew in, the family shower area doesn't have enough hooks, no hot water in the bathroom sinks. But, the staff is friendly and the price is reasonable.

Like always, this campground never disappoints!! It’s staff and facilities are the best!! We will be back again soon! Definitely would suggest to book a stay here!!

Really enjoyed my trip and stay at KOA. I stayed in a suite in the main building. Room was clean and neat however the floors were absolutely disgusting. I travel for work and stay in hotels all over the country. I have never seen floors this dirty. It appears that the floors were swept/vacuumed but have not been mopped in years.

Overall the stay was okay. The cabin needs painting along with maintenance. Front door was dirty and stained really bad from use. Outside railings need paint as well. Gas grill was old and dirty, unusable. Upon check in, they wanted $50 extra dollars to check-in an hour and half early. A little much for something that was available.

Was definitely not what was expected. The Deluxe cabins are definitely not deluxe and are do for a major upgrade. Very expensive for location ($10 for a bundle of wood) cost $5 anywhere else. Should use that on upgrading the camp. Not going to lie probably won’t stay again.

We stayed in the suites that are on the third floor of the main building. Our stay was great. We could see and hear the beach the whole time and were able to walk in the sand, collect shells, and see the sunrise and sunset almost every day. It is a great place to stay and use as a base camp which is what we did. From here the light houses and national parks are all a short drive.

We normally don't have issues at the KOA's where we stay this, we had one here. We happened to show up earlier than expected and were turned away, OK rules need to be followed, understood ; however the family in the cabins in front of us came early as well and, were allowed to check in. They had to pay extra ,which would have been fine with us had it been offered. We where told 3 was check in.

Very nice campground and most of the staff seemed nice. Large pool and some things for kids to do Overall good experience. The cabin could have been cleaner.

We love Roadanthe KOA, we've stayed many times. This time we stayed in a deluxe cabin--it was not clean upon arrival. Hair in floor, crumbs all over the counter and toaster, the toilet was disgusting.

GREAT THANKSGIVING DINNER! WAS TOLD MY CABIN HAD HEAT BUT DIDNT. WAITED FOR 2 DAYS TO RECIEVE FIREWOOD I HAD ORDERED. BATH HOUSE LEAVES ALOT TO BE DESIRED! ALL IN ALL WE STILL HAD A GOOD TIME SITE SEEING.

There was a dead roach by door of the of my suite. The entry light didn't work, the ceiling fan wasn't secure to the ceiling so it made a knocking noise when I had it on. The cleaning crew left someone else's dirty wash rag on top of the shower curtain in my room and the floor didn't seem like it was mopped because my socks were FILTHY from walking on the floor.

Having never stayed at a KOA before we weren't sure what to expect. We originally booked a Rustic Cabin but soon found out that it was not going to work for our stay. The staff was eager to help make things better and quickly, and seamlessly, upgraded us to a Deluxe Cabin for the remainder of our stay. The location was extremely clean and the staff were fantastic! We will certainly be back!

We had an issue with the power in our cabin and had to call the after hours number for help. David the maintenance supervisor sorted it out promptly and was very helpful. He even brought back some toys for my son. Super sweet. Every time I have stayed at this KOA has been great though so I would expect nothing more!

Great event on Thanksgiving night, deluxe cabin very clean and comfortable to stay. It's our second visit during 2021 and we'll be back, friendly team members and fair prices at the store.

Overall very happy. Unfortunately on our second last night a large group had arrived and were staying in the cabins next to us and behind us. They were very loud and had kids running up and down the stairs and shouting until around 2 in the morning. Then at 4 in the morning the adults right next to us got in a very loud screaming match that went on until around 5am. No sleep at all that night.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I'd like to especially send a shout out to your head of maintenance. He helped us with the TV in the room and provided information wrt the island since we've never visited so late in the year before. He took care of our issue quickly and was a pleasure to work with. His enthusiasm for his job is something sorely missing these days.

Lots of coachroaches in our deluxe cabin. There was a huge gap in the main bedroom where our little friends were coming in. It was the worst first night ever! They did spray for us the second day but we still all slept in the bunk beds. No way we would rent a cabin again there. I could have stayed in a nice hotel for the price we paid this time of year. We should have received a partial refund.

We had a wonderful stay. We were in the Outer Banks for our wedding. Our whole wedding party was able to book cabinS and spaces at the campground which was very convenient for us and we were able to use the campgrounds facilities as our venue for our wedding.

Loves this Koa! Their shower house is the best shower house we have experienced at a campground! The lovely lady in front office is sweet as pie :) and the dog park was always nice and clean for our precious fur babies
