Rainy days at the campground do not mean there is nothing to do! There are still plenty of ways to stay busy and have fun, even when the weather is not cooperating.
On rainy days, we offer free movie rentals for everyone, not just guests staying in cabins or lodges. A selection of movies is available in the office, making it a good option for relaxing indoors during the rain. We also provide free board game rentals in the office. These are easy to enjoy with family or friends at your site, in a cabin, or under a covered area.
For guests looking for something creative, there are free crafts and colouring sheets available in the office. These activities are especially popular with kids, but anyone is welcome to take part. They are a simple way to pass time and stay entertained while waiting for the rain to ease up.
Some scheduled activities may still run in the rain, depending on the weather. Guests are encouraged to check the activity schedule and our Instagram page for updates on what is still happening that day. If there is no thunder or lightning and the pool is open for the season, swimming is also an option, even in the rain.
Other fun rainy-day ideas include reading, listening to music, playing cards, or enjoying a warm drink while watching the rain. With these options available, a rainy day can still be a relaxing and enjoyable part of your stay.
