Camping is a great way to slow down and enjoy life without screens. The best way to stay off your devices is to dive into activities that keep you busy. Our campground has plenty of amenities and recreation options for all ages so everyone can have fun and stay engaged.
Outdoor Games and Friendly Competition
Start with something classic and interactive. Our giant outdoor chess set near the front park encourages strategy, laughter, and friendly rivalry. Nearby, the 18-hole mini putt course gives you the chance to test your aim. For a higher-energy challenge, gather a group for a game of volleyball or baseball in the backfield. Near the front park, enjoy a game of basketball or gaga ball. Sports equipment is available at the front office, making it easy to join a game on a whim.
Activities for Kids (And the Young at Heart)
Children hardly miss their devices when they discover the variety of amenities waiting for them. The Pirate Ship playground, Kids Climbing Wall, Spring Toy Park, Spinner, and our lively Children’s Park give little ones plenty of space to climb, spin, and explore. The Big Bouncer and Kiddie Big Bouncer remain crowd favourites, offering endless, screen-free entertainment.
On Saturdays all season long, and all week during July & August, our scheduled kids’ activities and games keep young campers busy and excited throughout the day. From arts and crafts to BINGO, outdoor movies, foam parties, ice cream socials, relay races, and more, there are endless opportunities to keep your children entertained.
Water Fun for Everyone
A warm day makes it easy to trade screen time for splash time. Our heated flat-bottom pool, open from Victoria Day to Labour Day (weather permitting), is always a popular spot. For something even more energetic, the splash pad provides a refreshing and lively way to cool off.
Adventure and Exploration
If your family enjoys a small adventure, the GEM Mining Station is a memorable experience. Kids can sift through rushing water to uncover gemstones, fossils, or arrowheads. Mining bags, which can be purchased in the store, are always a huge hit with campers of all ages.
Active guests can also enjoy a ride on our pedal bikes, which are available for rent in one, two, and four-seater styles. Exploring the campground on wheels is a great way to stay engaged without reaching for a device. Come to the front desk to rent a pedal bike in 1/2 hour intervals.
And for four-legged family members, our KampK9 Dog Park provides a leash-free space for play and exercise, complete with separate areas for large and small dogs.
