Sam is the hardest working person I’ve ever seen, always available to ensure you’re fully satisfied. Love the booking the pool option, would recommend keeping that even post COVID.

It was our first visit and we found it was really great. Lots of activities available- the pool was wonderful and we felt totally safe using it with the Covid-19 procedures that were in place. We enjoyed the treat of having fresh French fries and the ice cream fundraiser. We will definitely be back for another visit! Thanks to all the hard working staff ~ they were amazing!!

Nous n'avons pas restez au camping. Nous sommes arrivés au camping a 9h pm. Il n'y avait personne pour nous accueillir. Ils devaient ns laisser les pas pieds a la porte mais il ny y avait rien donc on ne savait quel terrain prendre. Nous avons envoyé des emails et laissé des messages et toujours pas de nouvelles de notre remboursement

We stayed in a lodge at KOA Cardinal for the 2nd year in a row and had an absolutely fabulous time again. Their COVID safety measures were reassuring and we did not feel like we missed out on anything. Great amenities, friendly staff and fun programming make this a go to for a glamping getaway just a hop and a skip away from home in Ottawa. Many thanks to the whole crew!

We had a great stay!The campground was always clean and the staff made our stay very safe in this covid time. We felt confident with our stay and the standards for keeping the park clean was set high. We will definitely go back and stay longer the next time. Thank you to the staff that made our stay excellent and carefree. Keep up the great work!

We always enjoy our stay at this location. We’ve been to other locations but always come back here. The grounds are well kept, the staff are friendly, and my kids love it. We’ve been going there for about 4 years now and will continue.

Upgraded to larger cabin, and enjoyed the cleaning living spaces. Not having to pack linens, cooking equipment was worth the added cost. With covid still going on, the park still made it's best efforts to ensure daily activities occured. Our kids loved the bubble machine activity. We have been to 2 other koas and would recommend this one.

It was very good family with 3 kids we rented the cabin everything was clean spacious and outside deck and bbq and firepit clean and spacious lots to do for kids and under this covid it was a great time you should be very proud of the owners and shows right down to the team members I work in retail and I know what it is like to always hear the negative and not to much possitive already can' wait

Extended our stay here from 4 nights to 33 nights and had an amazing time at the Cardinal KOA! We had a buddy site with friends, which made our stay even better as we faced each other. All of the staff were amazing, especially Sam!! Dan and Karen run an amazing campground, especially during Covid times. So many activities happening all while respecting Social distance guidelines. Best Vacay ever!

Considering all the covid rules they managed to find a way to make it work, keeping activities and making you feel safe, with very few disruptions. Staff remains friendly and helpful as always. My only wish is to have sewer sites if possible.

Lots to do here, most activities were for kids,it would be nice to have more adult activities.We did enjoy bingo&trivia!Clean & tidy place, well organized & had alot to offer.The only down side was, as we were enjoying our campfire were told twice to keep itdown & didnt feel that was necessary as we werent yellin or beingloud or obnoxious.Hopefully next visit they will relax a bit. Had Great time!

As usual, it was a great weekend considering the unusual rain we had. We were still able to do activities between rain storms. Great place to camp and I can't say enough about quiet time. Dedicated owners who care about their guests.

Amazing as always. My son and I created s'more memories! The staff is incredible. The grounds are clean and well maintained. And I felt very safe with all the covid-19 arrangements made. Thank you again for another great stay. See you next year!!

It was fantastic. Our cabin was clean and well equipped. The grounds had everything you could ask for, play structures, swimming pool, splash pad, mini golf, a bouncy pad, and a well stocked store. Lots of activities for the young, and the young at heart. I would definitely come again.

We stayed for 4 nights and the campsite was fantastic. The pool, playground, tons of trees, a pizza shop and a chip wagon. The campsite were generous and the staff was awesome!!

We booked for 2 nights. We had to delay visit at last minute due to Covid testing. Staff was very accommodating to allow us to move reservation without penalty till we were cleared. Also super nice front desk staff and employees. Pool was very clean. Bingo was fun. Bathrooms immaculate. Only thing is firewood was was overpriced 11$ for 6 small pieces and no kindling. It’s was dry tho.

You are not allowed to tie any rope/string/clothes line on the trees, so if you want to put a turf over your tent, you will have to basically peg them on the ground and be creative. The washrooms were kept clean at all times but the showers are kind a outdated compared to others. I wish the staff are a little bit more friendlier and accommodating like the other KOAs we’ve been.

We had a deluxe cabin booked for two nights, and I forgot to pack dishes/cutlery for our stay. The staff were amazing and gathered a full set of dishes, cups, mugs and utensils for us to borrow - allowing us to avoid buying disposable kitchen stuff. Very much appreciated! When the staff goes the extra mile to make their campers’ stay more enjoyable, it makes a big difference!

Very clean well maintained park. Lots of things for kids to do, nice dog park. The pizza and chip truck is a great idea. Staff was friendly, We would definitely stay here again and I would recommend the park to anyone staying in the area.

It was our first visit. We brought our 5 year old grandson who had a wonderful time. The bubble drop was awesome. The water gun fight was amazing. Thank you for such a well organized fun weekend.

Came for a visit at the end of July. We stayed in one of the cabins. The campground is well maintained. There were a lot of rules. We did our best to follow them. The fact we could only use pool in 30 minute increments was a little excessive. Hopefully when the pandemic restrictions soften they will let more people use pool as it really made things less fun. The owners were ok. We didn't have a bad experience with them but when I did speak to them they certainly weren't the nicest or best hosts that we have had at KOA's. The owners weren't mean. Just seemed busy all the time. Can't be easy to run a business in a pandemic so I have to say it wasn't a deal breaker for us. The campground was only about half full. Perhaps the pandemic was the reason why or maybe the bad reviews are finally catching up to them. We used this campground as a base to go visit Ottawa. Drive to Ottawa wasn't bad. Was nice to have all the outdoor activities for the kids.

KOA I incredible ❤ I recommend 100% there so much for kids to do 2 parks a splash pad and a huge bubble to bounce on. Plus they schedule events such as the best haunted house I've ever experienced.
