Very nice campsite with good amentities. Facilities were very clean and well maintained. Lots of staff available and easy to find for any questions. We are looking forward to returning.

Lot G7 was a challenge getting into and out from with a 40’ fifth wheel. Washroom facilities weren’t wheelchair accessible. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Despite being packed in, enjoyed the long weekend

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for staying with us. Our campground was built in 1973 when trailers were much smaller. 40' is about the maximum size we can accommodate nicely because of the trees you need to negotiate around. We have several with easier access but you need to book early as they go first.

We loved our stay at Cardinal KOA, everything was very clean and organized. The kids loved the activities and events. We will definitely be going back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cardinal KOA . All of the staff did an excellent job and management and staff went the extra mile to ensure that everything was up to covid protocol standards. We really appreciated the extra effort they put forth to make our stay so enjoyable!

As lovely as every other time. Comfortable facilities, welcoming staff and great activities. We plan our meals with the chip wagon and ice cream event in mind and they don't disappoint! Going to try to squeeze one more stay in before the end of this season. Thanks to all for the excellent visit!

Best kept secret! We found this campgrounds at the beginning of summer stayed for a week in June and a week in August and we already have October booked! This park has everything you need in one spot; large exceptionally clean lots, they vacuum their fire pits! Dog park, kids playgrounds tons for families with planned activities daily. Food truck and Pizza Hut make it a winning camping holiday!

Very clean and nice amenities. Loved the pizza but very strict. Felt like we were being watched all the time. No visitors allowed and heard kids being told to be quiet while at the playground.

Everything is great except their treatment of those who legitimately use cannabis as prescribed by a physician. Their pamphlet states “No use of MJ unless for medical reasons.” While checking in I mentioned one of our party used medical MJ and was told they wouldn’t be able to smoke it at all on the property. This is contrary to the provincial and federal human rights code and discriminatory

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our trailer sites are very close together with families on either side. We provided you with three alternatives: Smoke in your trailer with the windows closed, go to our party tent area or the front parking lot away from kids. Unfortunately you were not willing to be flexible.

Nice campground for Kids good play structure and the splash pad was a hit! The campground doesn’t allow families with more than 4 kids and doesn’t allow an option to pay a surcharge for kids over the limit you have to book a whole other campsite is what we were told. We had to leave 2 kids elsewhere. The rule almost turned us off all together from renting a site.

We were sitting around the campfire singing at 10pm and very a very rude employee came to tell us to shut it down immediately. I thought 11 was the shut down and he said no it was 10 so I said when I checked in she circled the time and it was 11. yelling at me he told me no music, no instruments, no singing so I said what is the difference then at 11 and he said lights out at 11. It was a fantastic family vacation!! The play areas, pool and splash pad entertained my busy 15 month old and 3 year old. The safety measures surrounding Covid are excellent. We felt safe and made so many happy memories!

The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The park is immaculate and well equipped. The only thing that would have been nicer was to have had a sewer connection on the campsite.

It was wonderful. Clean camp and cleaning on going. Liked their pool setup. A little longer in the pool would have been lovely, but their pool cleaning procedures could not have been better. Amazing friendly staff. Very caring and extremely helpful and patient. Will definitely be going back and taking our grandkids. Activities for kids terrific.

Nice place, we have always enjoyed it. It is however relatively expensive and risks pricing itself out of the market.

Came for a visit at the end of July. We stayed in one of the cabins. The campground is well maintained. There were a lot of rules. We did our best to follow them. The fact we could only use pool in 30 minute increments was a little excessive. Hopefully when the pandemic restrictions soften they will let more people use pool as it really made things less fun. The owners were ok. We didn't have a bad experience with them but when I did speak to them they certainly weren't the nicest or best hosts that we have had at KOA's. The owners weren't mean. Just seemed busy all the time. Can't be easy to run a business in a pandemic so I have to say it wasn't a deal breaker for us. The campground was only about half full. Perhaps the pandemic was the reason why or maybe the bad reviews are finally catching up to them. We used this campground as a base to go visit Ottawa. Drive to Ottawa wasn't bad. Was nice to have all the outdoor activities for the kids.

KOA I incredible ❤ I recommend 100% there so much for kids to do 2 parks a splash pad and a huge bubble to bounce on. Plus they schedule events such as the best haunted house I've ever experienced.
