We had an amazing time! KOA Cardinal thought of everything to make our stay easy and fun! The days were jam packed with activities for children to enjoy! KOA Cardinal is a family oriented camp ground that aims to please, which they did, we were very pleased and willl be back again! Definitely the best KOA we've been to!

Very accommodating, friendly and helpful staff. I have a mask exemption and couldn't get into the store, so the staff came out to serve me. Fantastic service.

Clean, friendly staff. Awesome fun and entertainment for the kids all weekend! They do an amazing job entertaining with so many options. Only 2 things to comment on. There are only 4 tenting sites available and they all have raised tent pads that are too small for our tent. The other comment is that the bathrooms aren’t Wheelchair accessible. This KOA still deserves a 5 star rating!

We loved this KOA! Our Cabin and lot area was clean and well kept. This place is for the kids, there was so much to do to keep them active. The booking of the splash pad and pool was easy and we really appreciated the staff's efforts to keep all areas clean and sanitized. The paid activities were fairly priced and we liked that we didn't have to leave the grounds to find things to do.

The facility was clean and has lots of fun activities for the family! We had a lot of fun through the day! That said, the fire curfew was what ruined it for us. We wanted to have fun all day with the kids but once the kids go to bed the parents like to hang out and have fun but fires out by midnight was no good.. sorry but we paid to rent the place and don't like being told it's my bedtime..

This was our first stay at a KOA and it was a fantastic experience! Everything was very clean and very well maintained. We found the cleaning staff, pool staff and front desk staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. We will be back!

The sites and facilities were extremely well kept and clean. Great variety of activities and recreation for the entire family to enjoy throughout out stay. Easy to get firewood and ice when needed.

Although we had an exceptional time, I’m surprised there’s nothing special for kids celebrating birthdays there. A special sign for the site or a coupon for the store. But we did have a great time.

We've been coming to this KOA every summer for ages but are finally considering seeking out another KOA due to rudeness on the part of a senior staff member. "Sam" seemed to have it out for us and our friends we were camping with, looking for issues with anything we did when we were doing nothing wrong. She was blunt, rude and made us feel unwelcome, even though we pay plenty of money to camp here

Everything was great, only issue was that staff were not wearing masks within the koa building. Covid 19 is an airborne virus and masks must be worn to protect the client and employee.

Thank you for staying with us, we appreciate your business. We abide by all COVID regulations. Our health department advised in writing that when our staff are behind the plastic counter screens they are not required to wear a mask. At all other times they do wear them for the safety of all.

Excellent facilities; most personnel amazing. Stayed twice, 10 days apart, btwn visits, squeaky door I didn't mention had been fixed! Bikes chedule more limited than I'd like (closes at 5 and no fri/sun) & pizza wasn't amazing, but otherwise thrilled...except we kept getting told we were out of bounds, kinda rudely, though no signage & map/rules didn't indicate strictness or location of boundary

Thanks for staying with us, we appreciate your business. Our bikes are closed all day Fridays and Sunday until 2pm to avoid accidents. This is the timeframe that traffic is busiest going in/out of the park and we don't want any of our guests to get hurt. We hope to see you again soon.

Cabins are very clean, and the provision of linens was very helpful to our family. The kids had a blast and enjoyed the multitude of amenities available.

Some of the staff is very discourteous. Samantha in particular was very blunt and rude, even with toddlers. She behaves with guests like a nanny, intruding privacy and reiterating rules even when it is not called for. She should be told to mind her own business and not try to be security without a formal complaint. Other than this the stay was great.

It is unfortunate that your music was blaring and Sam had to get you to turn it down. We are proactive and do not wait for "formal complaints" to deal with issues. We ensure all campers are able to enjoy their time here.

I loved our cabin, the amenities were great! Most staff we’re extremely friendly. My only concern was that there was one staff that was very rude to my children however when speaking to me changed their tone. I completely understand covid precautions, however children deserve to be spoken to respectfully just as much as adults. This was disappointing bc the rest of the stay was fabulous.

Rented 3 cabins for 3 days, for 10 people. This was a family gathering of parents, children and grandchildren. Because of the younger people KOA was chosen for the amenities available. We were greeted well at the office and explained the rules and regulations of the day. (covid ) The cabins were well equipped and air conditioned. Sites were bigger in general then expected. I recommend this KOA.

We loved our stay at the Cardinal KOA and hope to be back next year! The many amenities kept our kids busy for the four days we were there and they would have been thrilled to stay longer! The staff were friendly and the cabin we stayed in was spotless. Loved the rainy day activities too!

We stayed in the deluxe cabin. It was very very clean and comfortable. Everything is provided, just bring your food and clothes. The staff are excellent, courteous and friendly. The campground sites are very clean and the campground is really well maintained. Loved it!

While pricey, it met our needs. The staff was great. Our neighbors on the last night were frustrating with the Indian music into the eve.. and first thing the next morning. Made it difficult to be outside enjoying the campfire with our family.

Came for a visit at the end of July. We stayed in one of the cabins. The campground is well maintained. There were a lot of rules. We did our best to follow them. The fact we could only use pool in 30 minute increments was a little excessive. Hopefully when the pandemic restrictions soften they will let more people use pool as it really made things less fun. The owners were ok. We didn't have a bad experience with them but when I did speak to them they certainly weren't the nicest or best hosts that we have had at KOA's. The owners weren't mean. Just seemed busy all the time. Can't be easy to run a business in a pandemic so I have to say it wasn't a deal breaker for us. The campground was only about half full. Perhaps the pandemic was the reason why or maybe the bad reviews are finally catching up to them. We used this campground as a base to go visit Ottawa. Drive to Ottawa wasn't bad. Was nice to have all the outdoor activities for the kids.

KOA I incredible ❤ I recommend 100% there so much for kids to do 2 parks a splash pad and a huge bubble to bounce on. Plus they schedule events such as the best haunted house I've ever experienced.
