Another great camping season. We were super impressed with all the covid safety protocols put in place. They kept everyone safe and still guaranteed a high level of enjoyment for all. Looking forward to next year!

The Halloween weekend was spectacular! The haunted house and pumpkin walk were so well done and fun for the whole family. We will be back!

Great weekend and so much preparation on behalf of the staff for Halloween weekend. These owners care about their campers and it shows in everything they do. Our 5 year old granddaughter keeps mentioning how she wants to camp at KOA Cardinal all the time.

This is a very organized KOA, and one of the best we've ever been to. It's quiet, without the usual highway or rail noise we've had before, but there are so many things to do, especially for kids. There are plenty of playgrounds according to age, which is a relief for smaller kids. There are two "bouncy pillows" and a very large pool and agility course for dogs! Great location! We will return!

Stayed for 2 nights in September. Lucked out to have booked during their Halloween Celebration. Had an absolutely great time!!! They dropped off bags of candy for the kids, had a decorating and costume contest, bingo game organized over the radio, an incredible display of carved pumpkins and an amazing haunted house. I was really impressed with the cleanliness and organization of activities!!!!!

Halloween was fantastic!! I do think that certain things should be open based on temperature such as the pool and bike rentals. Both were closed but it was warm enough to swim and I am not certain why the bike rentals were closed. The activities were all fantastic and we will be back again for halloween!!

If you're looking for a safe place to celebrate Halloween this year, this is the place to do it! So many fun, socially distanced, SAFE activities for all ages!!! Reverse trick-or-treating (staff drop bags of candy off to the kids), a stunning pumpkin walk, and a truly terrifying haunted house. Plus crafts, pumpkin carving, costume parade....So much fun!

Was a fantastic weekend weather was perfect, a great weekend to kick off the fall Halloween pumpkin walk and Haunted house. Thanks to all the staff for making this camping season 2020 a very safe and enjoyable one for everyone. �

The campground is wonderful. There are lots of activities and staff are friendly. The property is well maintained and the Halloween weekends are amongst the best. Very kid and family friendly with excellent amenities.

Our trip was out of necessity, moving houses, travelling from Ontario to New Brunswick during the covid pandemic. We arrived much later than expected. Just 30 minutes before the 11PM gate lock. As we were navigating through the park, someone from KOA met us and guided us to our campsite. All employees and campers were nice. A great place to play for our son. Lots of children around.

The staff was very friendly and the campground was very clean. We appreciated the quick and efficient dump station attendants at our check out. There were no line ups. That was our greatest fear.

My grandson was so thrilled with all of the activities. There was so much to do that he was exhausted and feel straight to sleep! He can't stop talking about KOA :)

This is our second stay with the team at Cardinal/Ottawa South KOA and their service is second to none. Theirs always lots of stuff to do and they make us feel very welcomed and safe during these worrisome times. I highly recommend this location if you're ever in the area.

Amazing stay over the weekend for the whole family, puppy included. Great campground with super attentive hosts, great play structures for the kids and a complete Kamp K9. Will definetly return and recommend to everyone in the Ottawa/Prescott area to stop by!

The staff are fantastic. So friendly. The facilities are clean and everything is so well laid out. Lots for everyone to do. The only thing is that when the campground is full, it is impossible for us to get on the internet. This only true during the day. At night when everyone is off line - ie they are snoozing - we have access. That said, I rate this KOA as first class.

We had a fantastic stay. Campsite in excellent condition, service was very good. And rules of the campsite enforced. We will stay there again without question.

Great stay once again. The owners and their staff take great pride in their campground and offer. Ate at the chip wagon and pizza place too. The fries are perfect and poutine even better. Delivery style pizza Washrooms in the back are always super clean. Really appreciate that COVID precautions are taken seriously all season long (we can attest as we stayed several times over the summer)

Came for a visit at the end of July. We stayed in one of the cabins. The campground is well maintained. There were a lot of rules. We did our best to follow them. The fact we could only use pool in 30 minute increments was a little excessive. Hopefully when the pandemic restrictions soften they will let more people use pool as it really made things less fun. The owners were ok. We didn't have a bad experience with them but when I did speak to them they certainly weren't the nicest or best hosts that we have had at KOA's. The owners weren't mean. Just seemed busy all the time. Can't be easy to run a business in a pandemic so I have to say it wasn't a deal breaker for us. The campground was only about half full. Perhaps the pandemic was the reason why or maybe the bad reviews are finally catching up to them. We used this campground as a base to go visit Ottawa. Drive to Ottawa wasn't bad. Was nice to have all the outdoor activities for the kids.

KOA I incredible ❤ I recommend 100% there so much for kids to do 2 parks a splash pad and a huge bubble to bounce on. Plus they schedule events such as the best haunted house I've ever experienced.
