campground was clean, for the price not worth it charging top dollar and only 2 services,most important the person was rude in the pizza truck on site, the night security man would sneak around by foot on your site his name was daniel,only after when i required to make a complaint daniel was the OWNER.there are many different types of campers,daniel needs to adjust,signed 25 year campers.

We had a great time as always! With the Covid measures in place, Cardinal / Ottawa South does a great job ensuring the safety of all, while managing to have a little impact of the activities.. Great job!

First time camping at a KOA but will not be our last. The park was clean and well organized. So many things to do with our kids and we had an amazing weekend. Can’t wait to come back

Awesome stay as usual. Love the bingo's, and the auction was great fun for a great fund for a great cause!

Staff were friendly, facilities were clean, service was quick and with no cash environment, easy. My only suggestion would be to provide a detailed receipt of the charges to site. We will be back!

We had a fantastic week! Staff were friendly and helpful. The entire park was clean and well maintained. The activities & amenities were great. No complaints whatsoever. Thanks KOA Cardinal. We’ll be back!

It was very relaxing. Park was not full up. Very well maintained, clean. The extras like bingo, pizza, etc. made it more home like than minimal campgrounds and parks do. Staff very responsive and pleasant.

Although a beautiful spot with lots to do and amazingly clean and well run, the owners and staff make it very difficult to enjoy yourself. It seems they’ve lost their passion for running this place and are always glum and barking orders at guests. The campground was barren with maybe 30% capacity in a time where every other campground has full capacity and no bookings available.

This is my 5th year returning to Cardinal KOA. We absolutely love this campground. Staff are very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. We tried the pizza this year and it’s absolutely delicious. We will try snd book another weekend before the season ends

We stayed 4 nights was great , park clean and friendly! Lots for kids to do if you had them with you! We played mini putt beautiful course ! Highly recommend

We had a great time, the staff was super friendly and always at hand when we asked for something. Activities were very well planned . No negative comments on our behalf , the whole weekend was great. Good job on behalf of your entire staff .

Only negative was that we wanted to have our trailer pumped out Monday morning early, was told a checkin no problem, but we ended up having to do it ourselves

What a great KOA! Fantastic facilities, pool, splash pad, mini golf, chip wagon, pizza hut, and more. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing that would make the park better would be sewer hook ups! Oh well, I can dream...

Easy to say owners were excellent and campground was great, but I would like to stress how organized all activities were. You could see how much time and effort was put into making sure all campers, young and old had a great time. Location, and large pull through lots, fantastic pizzas, chip wagon. I love it each and every time we go, We love staying at E-11 right by the K-9 dog park, the play structures and the washrooms, we try to book the spot every 2 weeks if at all possible. The owners and staff are awesome and we hope to get a seasonal spot one year.

Came for a visit at the end of July. We stayed in one of the cabins. The campground is well maintained. There were a lot of rules. We did our best to follow them. The fact we could only use pool in 30 minute increments was a little excessive. Hopefully when the pandemic restrictions soften they will let more people use pool as it really made things less fun. The owners were ok. We didn't have a bad experience with them but when I did speak to them they certainly weren't the nicest or best hosts that we have had at KOA's. The owners weren't mean. Just seemed busy all the time. Can't be easy to run a business in a pandemic so I have to say it wasn't a deal breaker for us. The campground was only about half full. Perhaps the pandemic was the reason why or maybe the bad reviews are finally catching up to them. We used this campground as a base to go visit Ottawa. Drive to Ottawa wasn't bad. Was nice to have all the outdoor activities for the kids.

KOA I incredible ❤ I recommend 100% there so much for kids to do 2 parks a splash pad and a huge bubble to bounce on. Plus they schedule events such as the best haunted house I've ever experienced.
