The train was to much. Woke up 3 or4 times because of horn. And we looked right into the trailer of the persons next to us because they were so close. The people who ran the koa were very helpful and nice to us.

The campsite was clean. The park was full, but kept up. The store as always, had many gifts for purchase. From the park it is easy to make your way to town or points beyond. We always enjoy our time here!

We stayed at this KOA for 3 months and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly. The sites are spacious and the facilities were always clean and functional. A couple of things to note: Wifi is limited, it's heavily forested so satellite signal can be a challenge and the train tracks are located adjacent to the campsite so try to get a spot further away. We will definitely be back.

This was our first time driving an RV since my husband died. Michael helped us set up and walked us through everything. He was amazing, and went above and beyond. He deserves a 10+ rating on his own!

Catherine and Sandy were so nice and helpful when my plans changed last minute and I had to stay an additional 2 nights. The campsite itself is very well maintained, and Cascade Locks is a charming little town with 2 breweries, a market, some restaurants and lots of local history. And the view is to die for! Only negative thing was the freight trains coming through at odd hours.

I’m so super pleased with my first KOA experience! I met a friend there and she’s not much of a camper. She LOVED it! The staff was wonderful! The grounds were absolutely lovely!

Great place to escape Portland for a weekend. The huge trees provide great shade. The trains come by, but they did not bother us as of where we live in Portland.

I didn’t like the fact they charged you in early check-in fee for 40 minutes when he didn’t have nothing to do for the spot was empty and they didn’t have to go clean nothing and they didn’t have to check nothing they looked over and said Yep your spots empty charge me $10 to do that I was very upset about that

Had a Great stay, people friendly, clean park, relaxed environment, Thank You Staff

Our first experience with KOA, and we'll DEFINITELY be back!! Plan to check out some of your other locations over the next few months. Campground was clean; staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The only thing we would suggest is to upgrade the picnic table. Ours was one of the really OLD wooden ones, which was badly in need of paint, and too uncomfortable to sit at. Thanks!

Nice campground but the ground for our RV was not even close to being levle, and no information was given about the dump station being closed. We drove around to dump the holding tank only to find it had a sign on it saying to use a camp site which meant we would have to drive back through the campgrounds again to find it. at least have the courtesy to let people know where to dump, Total BS

Cascade Locks KOA is a great place to stay and explore the Columbia River Gorge. If your a train enthusiast you will love the tracks behind the camp grounds, many trains travel those tracks. Cascade Locks KOA has my vote. I will be back. !!

Great for a 1 night stay. The train doesn't bother me at all, however it is something to consider. The sewer hookups are a little elevated, and some of electrical disconnects have blanks missing.

This is a cozy comfortable location. The noise from the trains were very calming. Loved being so close. This is a fantastic location.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean campground. Somewhat noisy due to train passing by several times day and night.

Great KOA campground. We will stay again when heading back to Tucson AZ

The location & grounds are very nice. However, the store/office is typically closed when one arrives between 6 & 7. If this were slow season, it would be understandable. But in high season, this makes NO sense. It seems the people who run this are not very interested in meeting customer needs. Other KOAs are open later, which facilitates check-in. Reserving in advance is not always possible.

Very nice RV resort. A little surprised by the trains going by but it was nice.

Tight for big rigs. Stayed overnight without having to unhook. Guide took us to site. Watch out for children on bicycles.

Right next to railroad tracks, so be ready for a 10pm or 7am horn. Nice place with friendly staff. Easy driving distance to waterfalls.

It was wonderful to see so many children outside playing. Not having children with us, we were given a site right next to the playground, which was heavily used. Our site was right behind 2 cabins and the way to the playground was apparently through our site. The train comes throughout the night blowing its horn too. The staff was very friendly. We did not use any facilities, so no comment.

Staff pleasant and very helpful. Nice clean quiet serene environment!

Site was close to the amenities but was basically a muddy mess

On our 4 month adventure this was by far the nicest KOA Campground we have been in but also the best campground just for its sheer aesthetics. Thank you to the staff who made it so pleasant.

Location is great for sightseeing in the area. 50 amp pull thru spots are a little hard to get into due to tight curve, but do-able…nice and shady. Train wasn’t a problem for us but could be for some

The two staffers I had contact with were nice and helpful. My primary impression of this park is: mud. My slip was little more that a flat spot of dirt with a beat up table. The park can’t control the rain, but they can put down fresh gravel. Some spots are paved, but it seems pretty random. You’ll have a paved spot, and then a dirt spot beside it. The park is well located for the sites.

It was a pleasant stay. It was a rainy but still had a good experience. Me and the family loved it and plan to come again.
