Nothing against the park but wish we had known about train frequency.

The staff was super friendly nice pleasant welcoming the place is very safe for kids however there is a train that runs right next to the campground and if you’re looking for peace and quiet about every hour a train comes through with a loud horn the place is very clean the campgrounds are clean the bathrooms are clean the playground is clean my grandkids love it... the camp sites are very cle

Very nice staff. Clean and spacious park. We were very comfortable.

Very polite, the cabin was clean. Only downfall was our last night we were boxed in between two families who were together and walking right through our camp and 3 big dogs not on a leash.

The train was constant, loud and so close. The WiFi didn’t work so kids couldn’t get schooling done. The park was clean but the trash area was overflowing so we took ours with us.

Nice little stop along the way to Lincoln City. Pull thru sites were a little tight (trees, building, etc.) , requiring we back out when leaving. Mostly level paved sites. Staff was friendly, assisting late arrivals navigate the park. This park is alongside a very busy train line. The trains run many times, all night long. Every time the train passes, they sounds off several loud horn bursts.

Very friendly folks, Beautiful place. Only one suggestion, they need more frequent trash collection or another dumpster.

The campground and shower facilities were excellent, the only problem was the trains that went by the camp they would lay on their horns till they got pasted the camp.

Convenient location, very nice space we had and no problem for our 30 foot motorhome. Longer trailers did have issues maneuvering around property. Lots of train traffic.

It was a cute park. We got an event spot right behind our friend’s who were staying in a cabin, there was a nice park and the friendly camp shop that sold good stuff. We enjoyed it. BUT there is a very noisy train that does run quite frequently during the day and night

Firepits were not secured Neglected to tell us that the campsite we re-chose was pushed up against a family that was arriving later. They partied until about 11, watching us the entire time they did it. Super uncomfortable. Also, bathrooms were locked the entire time after being told they were open?

Nice small campground, lots of trees, bathrooms were clean and the front desk staff along with the guys who worked the property were all very helpful and kind. Only draw back is it being so close to the train track but we will definitely go back!

Our cabin was stinky (like the guests before us burnt fish inside) but it was clean and we had a great time!

We have been here many times will speak forWe have been here many times with a travel trailer and in the cabins. We were very disappointed at how unclean the cabin was especially since it is advertised that they are sanitized between guests. Staff was great as always.

Lots of shade trees. Small picnic tables. Nice proximity to tourist sites in the Columbia River area.

If I had known their would be a train going by blaring it’s horn every few hours throughout the night we would not have stayed here. The campgrounds were also a little sad. Our square fire pit with welded on grate made making a fire difficult. We had to go pull our own picnic table from another empty site because there wasn’t one at ours, there was debree and branches everywhere. Staff was nic

We were assigned the perfect spot! I liked having the forest on one side of our site. We felt very safe with the spacing to other campers. Your facilities were very well maintained (honestly the nicest camping bathrooms I've every seen). The staff was very friendly.

I would give this park 5 stars except for the fact it is right next to a significant freight railway. The trains themselves are not much of a bother but for some reason, every one of them feels they need to blast their horns several times as they pass the park. This is very disruptive and annoying. Other than the trains, this park is very well kept, the hosts are extremely friendly. Lovely!

biggest issue is RR trains going thru on a regular basis ALL NIGHT LONG and blowing their warning horn which wakes up campers several times until morning!

The firepit was a small box half blocked with grill grates that don't retract. Building and keeping the fire going was very difficult.

It rained the whole night and the rain drops falling on the metal roof of cabin was noisy and disturbed our sleep. Being next to road, close to railroad, and residential homes doesnt give the feel of being close to nature.

Trains at night blowing their whistles are a bunch much. Hard to sleep when every couple hours the trains come through. Other then that was a wonderful and enjoyable stay. Gentleman was very helpful.

The staff and work campers are great. Always friendly, and if your in need of anything there is a great little store on site. The kids love the store because they can get ice cream and treats. If you like the outdoors and camping in the woods this park is for you. Had a great time .

Despite the extreme rain, we were able to have a restful night. Electrical problems were internal. We will be back !

This was our 2nd visit staying in a cabin with our dogs. Our cabin had a bathroom and small kitchen. It was very cute and comfortable. We had all the kitchen utensils we needed except a fry pan. That would have been nice.

Park had nice concrete pads, though trees were a little challenging to get around. Office staff was amazing and very nice. Dog park needs some attention, but there was plenty of places to walk them around. Would certainly stay again if we are back in the area

I have always had a great stay at a KOA RV park. This one sounded good as we made a reservation BUT Oh, you're not allowed to use the restroom and shower unless you're in a cottage and the pool and hot tub area looked to have last been open in the late '60's. Sorry but for 40 bucks you get a zero.

The first time we stayed we had no idea about the trains, but got used to it, so less than a month later we booked another stay. Fairly easy access to all that we wanted to do in Hood River.

Not much to choose from in the area. Very nice staff. Mostly dirt so can be very dusty when dry or muddy when wet. Noise from train tracks right behind site can be very disturbing and trains run day and night. Nice feature is walking distance to lovely Cascade Locks Park.

We love a weekend at a KOA cabin. Less than a hour drive and we feel like it is a world away.
