Camped koa many years. First stay in a cabin. It was great! Needs a fire pit but the grill worked out well instead. TV remote troubles but the staff worked hard to fix the issue. Very nice staff. Excellent stay. Clean and safe. Thank you KOA!

Was an overnight stay and we have always been pleased with this KOA. Bathroom/showers are clean, the site 127 is the one we usually get and it is easy in and easy out. Will always stay here when we go South!

Sites were on top of one another due to guest hooking sewer to wrong hookup for there sites. Bathroom keypads were missing buttons. Was ok for an overnight stay but not for us again. Would rather pay more for better sites.

Site pad was level concrete which seems to be an exception across the country. Staff were excellent and very friendly. Propane service great. It is a great park for walking your dogs.

Nice place... lots of trees... My only complaint is the prevalence of heavy and sharp gravel in the area which is very uncomfortable to out poor dogs feet.

The only negative is that we drove right by the office before we saw signs to register before entering the park. There needs to be some type of signage as soon as you drive through the fence. The best thing was the sign on Gold Hill-you definately cannot miss the park entrance.

We loved our site #85. We loved the area. I loved watching planes coming in to land at Charlotte. Our site was big. However I’m glad we weren’t at some of the smaller sites across from us. Some of them even faced each other, which could have been a problem.

The person who took us to our site, Dennis, was extremely conscientious about making sure we safely navigated corners, cars, trees, etc. He even got out of the cart and helped with hand signals. As the park has some narrow areas to sites, it was very welcomed. Kudos for his attention and thoughtfulness.

Staff was very helpful and friendly, facilities were less than what was expected. Too congested and a great deal of road noise and aircraft noise. Not really inviting to visit.

Conveniently located directly off I-77 and walking distance to major grocery brands. This is a "no frills" basic KOA and not much to do, but perfect for a short stay and reload. I am still giving 5 stars for the awesome ladies in the office and super friendly / helpful golf cart escort guys.

My family and I enjoyed ourselves at this KOA. The cabin was clean, nice, and cozy. We will be staying again.

The staff was very friendly. The location was easily accessible. The bathhouse was very clean.. We will stay again. We would like to see more cement pads available.

New campers came late at night -loud and disruptive - but the camp site was great and front desk was very nice.

Located Right next to interstate 77 and a shopping center with a first class Publix thus KOA is nice for and urban campground. Check in was efficient, staff were friendly, sites were clean and easily accessible.

This was a high-priced KOA, who's cable channels don't work. Sites were packed together, and the location is very urban. Access is confusing, and departing meant driving through the Publix parking lot to get to a traffic light. Not my favorite KOA.

Didnt feel safe staying there. The whole area felt tense. Men's bathroom only one toilet available, the other two were broken, vandalized. Plus point, Publix in walking distance, gas station directly outside the park. The site was ok, level, clean.

Nice and convenient, Bill was the best for guiding us into our site. Great to be close to a Publix and other amenities. A little too close to the highway and the weekend emergency vehicle sirens.

I pulled in for a quick overnight stay. I didnt use the amenities. The check-in experience was friendly and efficient. Campground has lots of mature shade trees - neat and clean. Wifi was adequate for watching YouTube and checking emails. Walk to a sports bar and grocery store.

We stayed at a deluxe cabin (80B) 2 nights and had great time visiting the NASCAR Hall of Fame as well as Moochies Tavern and John’s Place. Grounds were clean and patrons were quiet. Visit again: Definitely! Campground Vibe (adult/upper scale, family/kids, stopover only): Adult, overnight and big rig friendly. Felt safe: yes GPS accuracy: yes Type of site: pull-thru Site surface (condition/leveling/material): concrete level pad with gravel all around. Spacing between sites: very generous Sewer/Electric/Water conditions: excellent Noise level: quiet Staff: EXCELLENT. I wish I had their names. Office host was so cheerful which we needed after being on the road for 28 days. The host that took us to our site was beyond helpful He took extra time to ensure we'd be perfectly level to stay hooked up to the truck. He knew the sites like the back of his hand. Campground roads: (such as trees, ditches or rocks): Easy to navigate around. Reason for our visit: our last night stop before driving the final leg home after 28 days on the road. Quiet. Relaxing and easy. I wish I had taken photos but I was just too tired.

Nice campground. Clean bath house. Walking distance to a local bar next to the gas station. Had good live music and decently priced alcohol. Friendly people.
