The person who took us to our site, Dennis, was extremely conscientious about making sure we safely navigated corners, cars, trees, etc. He even got out of the cart and helped with hand signals. As the park has some narrow areas to sites, it was very welcomed. Kudos for his attention and thoughtfulness.

Staff was very helpful and friendly, facilities were less than what was expected. Too congested and a great deal of road noise and aircraft noise. Not really inviting to visit.

Conveniently located directly off I-77 and walking distance to major grocery brands. This is a "no frills" basic KOA and not much to do, but perfect for a short stay and reload. I am still giving 5 stars for the awesome ladies in the office and super friendly / helpful golf cart escort guys.

The staff was very friendly. The location was easily accessible. The bathhouse was very clean.. We will stay again. We would like to see more cement pads available.

Located Right next to interstate 77 and a shopping center with a first class Publix thus KOA is nice for and urban campground. Check in was efficient, staff were friendly, sites were clean and easily accessible.

This was a high-priced KOA, who's cable channels don't work. Sites were packed together, and the location is very urban. Access is confusing, and departing meant driving through the Publix parking lot to get to a traffic light. Not my favorite KOA.

Didnt feel safe staying there. The whole area felt tense. Men's bathroom only one toilet available, the other two were broken, vandalized. Plus point, Publix in walking distance, gas station directly outside the park. The site was ok, level, clean.

Nice and convenient, Bill was the best for guiding us into our site. Great to be close to a Publix and other amenities. A little too close to the highway and the weekend emergency vehicle sirens.

I pulled in for a quick overnight stay. I didnt use the amenities. The check-in experience was friendly and efficient. Campground has lots of mature shade trees - neat and clean. Wifi was adequate for watching YouTube and checking emails. Walk to a sports bar and grocery store.

Reserved a drive thru patio for 2 nights. Got a back-in concrete slab with no patio. A total of $10 off.

Enjoyed our stay. Was in town for the Charlotte Roval race and it was a great area away from the hustle. Will be staying here again for the race next year.

Staff were friendly, but the campgrounds was nothing short of a big gravel parking lot without any defined site lines/boundaries. I would have given this KOA a ZERO with the exception of the Staff and the nice clean bathrooms. Will NOT be staying there again. Any state park has better sites. Also, the noise level from street racing and the nearby airport make it impossible to sleep.

Lots of good things here: nice pool and outdoor recreation area, nice bathrooms, very nice staff, convenient to the Interstate, grocery next door (Publix). The sites are very close together and a little tricky for big rigs in some areas. Otherwise, a great place to stay.

While the park is old and the sites are close together, the location is great. The staff work hard and are very accommodating. This park could really be spectacular if time and money were spent on adding concrete pads to more of the sites. i will stay here again.

We just had a stopover and a one night stay, but the campground was easy to access from interstate 77 and clearly signposted. Clean campground and recommend to travelers. We will stay again on future travels.

Nice quiet campground. Perfect for a quick stop or to spend a few days. Biggest complaint was the lack of grass around our campsite for the dogs but was manageable with a short walk. Hosts were great to work with and helpful.

Visit again: Definitely! Campground Vibe (adult/upper scale, family/kids, stopover only): Adult, overnight and big rig friendly. Felt safe: yes GPS accuracy: yes Type of site: pull-thru Site surface (condition/leveling/material): concrete level pad with gravel all around. Spacing between sites: very generous Sewer/Electric/Water conditions: excellent Noise level: quiet Staff: EXCELLENT. I wish I had their names. Office host was so cheerful which we needed after being on the road for 28 days. The host that took us to our site was beyond helpful He took extra time to ensure we'd be perfectly level to stay hooked up to the truck. He knew the sites like the back of his hand. Campground roads: (such as trees, ditches or rocks): Easy to navigate around. Reason for our visit: our last night stop before driving the final leg home after 28 days on the road. Quiet. Relaxing and easy. I wish I had taken photos but I was just too tired.

Nice campground. Clean bath house. Walking distance to a local bar next to the gas station. Had good live music and decently priced alcohol. Friendly people.
