Absolutely love this campground! It's place is a beautiful campground. Great place for some real r & r. Great hiking trail and dog walk. Love the campsites.

Really friendly. Nice cabins. The best restrooms/ showers I've ever seen in a campground. Nice game room and laundry room. Had a very nice time at your campground.

Our site #4 was very difficult to get in and out. If I visited again, I would definitely not want that site. The campground was clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

only reason for 4 stars is camp ground lost power and water and was out for several hours andbi had no way clean out my tanks should have some sort of back up

We stayed here for a weekend so we could take our high schooler to look at UVA. The campground was smaller than other KOA's we have been to. The sites were level with new gravel. The campground was fairly quiet and low-key, not too many kids there. There is a small pool which was nice and refreshing. Overall, a pleasant stay and we liked the quiet. :)

Loved the campground. We visited Monticello, Walton’s mountain, Mitchie Tavern and Trump winery. Staff and campers were friendly. We will come back maybe in the fall. Thank you!

We have a 2016 Thor and your cable tv system does not work with our tv system. Makes no since for the excuse we were given as to why it did not give us cable. We stay in KOA campgrounds from Va Tx Fla Ga all over the eastern United States and never had this issue. Very disappointing for this issue at your campground

Pool was clean. Bathrooms/ shower was nice and clean. Lady at desk let me switch tent sites to the nicer one. Neighbors were a little noisy at night.but that’s not koa fault. Will probably stay at this camp this work week again. Hopefully I can request T55 site.

Neat and clean campground. Really nice, updated bathrooms. Lots of fun stuff to keep the kids occupied. I loved the scenic nature hike.

Nice, clean campground in a peaceful wooded setting, great if you like being several miles away from the interstate and a town. But they really need some signage, both from the roads and in the campground itself. This was the only KOA we've used that had no escort, and it was the only one where we actually needed one.

We were excited that this KOA had openings with ja few days notice. We are new to RV'ing and want to check out campgrounds close to home. Office staff was helpful and friendly. Nice amenities. CLEAN and well kept. We loved the shaded dog park! A really nice campground in a beautiful area. Loved the parking layout that was staggered so you felt like there was more privacy. We'll be back!!

Checkin easy. Sites clean and not crowded. Nice bathrooms with separate showers ( we didn’t use because we had RV, but we had friends staying in cabins who did). Close to many fun wineries!

The gravel for the campsite had not been completed. It was a terrible mess with 3 small boys. We were charged for the 3rd child (not yet 2 yrs old) & for visitors. Several of the sites were right on the road! Definitely overcharged for what we got. Disappointing.

Sorry but the showers were great. The campsite was tucked away and very pretty. The pool was a real pool for real swimmers. I have not so much fun in a pool since I was kid the 8 foot deep end was my highlight.

Nice campground convenient overnight stay passing thru Charlottesville. Owner and staff were very nice and friendly. Camp office and store were well stocked. Bathrooms were newly remodeled and were very nice.

Easy in and easy out of park and spots.... Staff was pleasurable and friendly. Pretty much all gravel roads throughout the campground. All amenities were clean. Great little walking trail on the woods, even got to see a doe. Only issue was cell service for T-Mobile/Sprint which is non-existant and the camp Wi-Fi is aweful.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sprint works the best on the campground. T-mobile is not good when in suburban or rural areas across the country.

We liked being nestled in the woods. However, a grassy area to walk dogs would be very nice. There seems to be little (if any) outdoor lighting, which was unnerving in the wee hours while walking the dogs.

This is a hidden gem a little over a half an hour outside Shenandoah NP. Exceptionally friendly staff welcome you to a woodsy KOA that has all the usual attractions but each camouflaged between towering trees. We visited in autumn with our 2 dogs and throughly enjoyed our stay. Our site was spacious and semi private. We hiked their nature trail each morning and evening with the dogs and enjoyed views of Beaver pond while appreciating the mutt mitt station along our route. A small fenced in pet playground allowed the pooches to run free and meet friends. You'll find very clean private showers and bathrooms as well as a nice little camp store with souvenirs and snacks. Very well done! Thank you to our hosts.

Relatively small, quaint and VERY quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms and shower facilities were spotless. Would definitely stay here again. (25' motorhome)

Upon arrival, check in was only a few moments, it was easy to find our campsite. Internet connection is about 118 mbs, very fast, cellular connection is great. Everything in the campground is clean, the restrooms are private, clean and warm. We stayed 10/21-22/2021. A fantastic time.
