One of our favorites campsites to visit. Always a great time.

Always a good stay here in the tent area which is set aside in the woods from the larger RV section. The bathrooms have been completely renovated also, allowing for essentially private full baths which are cleaner than the older set-up and quite nice. Only concern this year was seeing the reduction in tent sites as more RV sites were put back in the woods. Hope you'll keep space for the tents!

Great stay. Tent site was large and flat with plenty of space for my tent. Campground was quiet and bathroom/showers were clean. Great area and close to lots of sites and attractions. Would recommend to anyone going to the area.

Need soap in bathroom next to pool. Possibly electric at each site. Suggest small corner bench in all shower areas and attach stand to the wall or next to bench. Very quiet which was relaxing

I loved the campground as a whole. The grounds were well kept and bathhouse was amazing! I wish they kept the bathroom by the pool open all night as that is the closest bathroom to where we camped. Also the choline was too high in the pool. Otherwise, the lady at the front was so sweet! She worked all weekend and was always helpful!

Overall very pleased. Easy check in, great very clean bathroom facilities, nice pool that seems well managed. Only negative is there was a large “widow maker” tree limb literally right over our tent site location (the middle of the 3 tent site locations) that really needs to be cut down. Moved my tent closer to the road to avoid any accidents from falling limbs.

Pool was clean. Bathrooms/ shower was nice and clean. Lady at desk let me switch tent sites to the nicer one. Neighbors were a little noisy at night.but that’s not koa fault. Will probably stay at this camp this work week again. Hopefully I can request T55 site.

Sorry but the showers were great. The campsite was tucked away and very pretty. The pool was a real pool for real swimmers. I have not so much fun in a pool since I was kid the 8 foot deep end was my highlight.

Super friendly check in staff. Clean bathrooms with private sink, toilet, and shower. Quiet hours enforced nicely. Very convenient to Monticello, Charlottesville, and hiking!

I had a great stay, the staff was very helpful and welcoming. The camp ground was clean and modern. Best part was the clean private bathrooms. Next time my travels bring me to Charlottesville I will be staying at the KOA.

We had a great time. Bring your own firewood, the firewood they had didn't light but instead smoked. I think it may have been wet still. Campground was nice, bathrooms were clean. Ten sites were a little small, but overall, nice campground.

Great little campground. Bathrooms were super clean and our site was very nice. Could use some serious leaf blowing to clean up the premises a bit, and it would be nice if the girl who checked us in would wear a mask. But otherwise we had a great stay!

First of all, those upgraded bathrooms were luxurious! Second, it was over all just very wonderful. The staff was very friendly, and when we were being a little loud they just politely reminded us it was quiet hours. We'll definitely be back. 12/10

The bath house is very nice. Cleanest bathrooms I've seen at any campsite. Tent sites were great, the ground for the tents are leveled, and smoothed. Office staff were nice and helpful. Great site.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at the campsite. Although we were only there one night it was still very nice and enjoyable! We will definitely be returning for future camping!

We had a great stay. Check in and check out was easy and quick. The tent site was a good size and close enough to bathrooms. The bathrooms were very new and clean. We would love to come back.

We appreciated the clean facilities, and easy check in process. The only downside is that it was quite loud late into the night, as in past midnight. There needs to be some enforcement of quiet time. I get the people are having fun, but put the guitar away. Y'all will never be Janis Joplin, so let Bobby McGee go.

The nature trail was great and not too long (good for kids), bathrooms were sparkling clean the entire time we were there!

We were kept up until 1:00 am on Saturday night by people partying and then kids up at 7:00 bouncing basketballs but in Sunday night when my children were laughing in our tent with NO ONE around us we were told to be quiet at 10:15. Everyone else was in a cabin or a camper doing whatever they wanted but we were singled out. It was absolutely ridiculous!

We LOVE the renovated bathrooms! LOVE THEM! And thank you for keeping them so clean. We really appreciate your attention to detail. We also love the convenience store, moon bounce, pavilion, and sports areas. We are repeat campers at your KOA. Would it be possible to request a campsite in future reservations, particularly if we plan month(s) in advance?

A beautiful, quiet setting, this campground is near historic landmarks, such as Jefferson’s Monticello and Monroe’s Highland, but maintains the qualities of being in the wilderness. Clean, warm restrooms and showers. Friendly, helpful staff.

My stay was amazing! It was very clean and so quiet...exactly what we needed to unwind and unplug. I had concerns about the lack of enforcement re: mask policy, but we kept ours on and just went about our business. Zero issues!

RUDE management! Normally stay at Misty Mountain Resort, they were booked so I stayed here. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Very nice campsite. The game room was locked, unfortunately. At 7:00 pm the people in the campsite below us started playing music REALLY loud. It was obnoxious and annoying. That went on for an hour. The pool was nice and so were the bathrooms.

IT WAS QUIET. OTHER CAMPERS WERE HELPFUL WHEN WE HAD DIFFICULTY FIXING OUR CAMP STOVE. THE CLEAN, PRIVATE, SPACIOUS BATHROOMS WERE A BIG HIT WITH US. VERY WELL LOCATED NEAR MONTECELLO AND OTHER HISTORIC SIGHTS. HELPFUL STAFF. WISH THE STORE WAS OPEN TILL 7PM.

We had a spacious tent site conveniently located close to the bathrooms. The beautiful bathrooms were clean. Really liked the utility sink and work bench for washing our dishes. Our kids really enjoyed the jump pad, pool, horseshoes and tetherball. We would definitely camp there again.

While it is a smaller KOA it has more then enough to do. Clean showers good WiFi, .25 walking trail. I think the only thing it might need is a place to do Landry. Staff was very friendly.

This is a hidden gem a little over a half an hour outside Shenandoah NP. Exceptionally friendly staff welcome you to a woodsy KOA that has all the usual attractions but each camouflaged between towering trees. We visited in autumn with our 2 dogs and throughly enjoyed our stay. Our site was spacious and semi private. We hiked their nature trail each morning and evening with the dogs and enjoyed views of Beaver pond while appreciating the mutt mitt station along our route. A small fenced in pet playground allowed the pooches to run free and meet friends. You'll find very clean private showers and bathrooms as well as a nice little camp store with souvenirs and snacks. Very well done! Thank you to our hosts.

Relatively small, quaint and VERY quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms and shower facilities were spotless. Would definitely stay here again. (25' motorhome)

Upon arrival, check in was only a few moments, it was easy to find our campsite. Internet connection is about 118 mbs, very fast, cellular connection is great. Everything in the campground is clean, the restrooms are private, clean and warm. We stayed 10/21-22/2021. A fantastic time.
