Loved this campground spacious and private our camping cabin was very clean. Camping cabin was in a very woodys area. Very friendly staff. I wish I would have booked a longer stay. Close to Charolettsville. Very nice city.

Peace and serenity abound. Couldn't have been happier with this KOA. Close enough to everything but far enough away to truly relax. The bath facilities were some of the best we've encountered at a KOA, and made the experience even better.

Small but clean campground. Only has one site with a patio (which we were lucky enough to get for our stay). Close to all the site seeing things in the area. The WiFi service was spotty, and could be improved. The cable for our site didn't work.

Friendly staff at check in. Just a warning - it's a hilly, curvy road from 64 to the campground. Take your time and enjoy the scenery on the way in and out.

Lovely quiet campground in a wooded setting. Only negitive is being charged $5 a person, adults as well as small children, each time my family stopped by. We have family living in three states. These travels are to see grandkids. A bit pricey add ons in my opinion.

Cabin and facilities plus bath house all excellent. My only issue with all KOA’s are that the extra charges for more than two adults seem excessive.

We enjoyed this quiet, well maintained campground. We appreciated the friendliness of the check in staff and the comfortable atmosphere of this KOA. We really like all the trees in the campground and the short, scenic walking trail by the pond.

No trash pickup. High prices. Nothing to do. Long way from Charlottesville. Packed in RVs when there were many open spaces that could have been used to spread out campers so they were not on top of each other....

We were so pleased with our campsite and the campground. It was the kind of site we asked for in our reservation, which was amazing considering the busy holiday weekend. Everything was well maintained, and the common areas were clean. We enjoyed taking our dog on the nature trail in the park, and having Walnut Creek Park nearby gave us greater hiking options. We will certainly be back!

Very nice campground that was very well maintained and staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Sites are very spacious and location is QUIET which is what we wanted.

Very nice level site, free cable and WIFI are a definite plus! The staff was very nice and worked hard to keep the grounds well maintained. Bath house was probably the nicest I've see with individual small rooms instead of communal showers. Although the campground was full (all sites occupied) it didn't feel crowded and quiet time was well respected. We will definitely be back.

This is a small campground with mostly RV sites. There were weekend activities for the kids and my husband enjoyed several games of volleyball. The loose gravel isn’t good for bicycles but pedal bikes are available for rent.

We arrived expecting to stay 2 nights...but the location is very good for multiple attractions, and we were able to take our time touring, enjoy the stay , and easily find our way to the next adventure...after a total of 4 nights...it was that good.!

We were in town to see our daughter walk. So this was a fun trip. I have been visiting this location for several years. It was always been nice. Last year I didn’t visit (COVID) so it has been a while, there are more pull through sights and a lot of work has gone enlarging the camp. I love the tall trees that bring cool shade most of the day.

No sink or bathroom in the laundry room. The rvs were to close for my comfort. The pond was a good hike to it. It was overgrown. I saw a copper head snake in the pond.

We had a wonderful stay. The hostess was very attentive to our wants and picked the prefect camp site for us. The whole camp area was clean and up to date. We enjoyed the nature trail that went around the camping area. The camp store had everything we needed and the bathrooms and showers very clean. The pool was very spacious and they were preparing to open for the holiday.We will surely come back

This is a hidden gem a little over a half an hour outside Shenandoah NP. Exceptionally friendly staff welcome you to a woodsy KOA that has all the usual attractions but each camouflaged between towering trees. We visited in autumn with our 2 dogs and throughly enjoyed our stay. Our site was spacious and semi private. We hiked their nature trail each morning and evening with the dogs and enjoyed views of Beaver pond while appreciating the mutt mitt station along our route. A small fenced in pet playground allowed the pooches to run free and meet friends. You'll find very clean private showers and bathrooms as well as a nice little camp store with souvenirs and snacks. Very well done! Thank you to our hosts.

Relatively small, quaint and VERY quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms and shower facilities were spotless. Would definitely stay here again. (25' motorhome)

Upon arrival, check in was only a few moments, it was easy to find our campsite. Internet connection is about 118 mbs, very fast, cellular connection is great. Everything in the campground is clean, the restrooms are private, clean and warm. We stayed 10/21-22/2021. A fantastic time.
