Wonderful. Pretty campground and level large sites.

The camp ground is very nice, hookups were the closest we’ve ever had! They have a nice walking trail, and the sites are well maintained. Will definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed the peacefulness and cleanliness of the facility, its amenities, and surrounding area. Great place to visit with tons of things to do in the area; especially if you like "grapes" and "grains"!!!

With a serious roof project underway... why would you put RV'ers in the closest site to your project?? Since the campground was nearly empty, this makes no sense. We left early on Friday because the roof work, workers yelling, music and nail guns started at 6 AM! So much for KOA quiet time. We will come back, but will ask first about construction projects.

The campground is in a peaceful setting.

We loved our site, very safe and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Only downside for us as full timers is that our family chose not to visit us due to $5 visitor fees. It would be nice if the fees could be waived for those with longer stays, especially during the off season when the pool isn’t open. Aside from that, we recommend this campground!

This campground is a work in progress. We stayed there several years back and it has changed, but not much. Think this one should not be referred to as a Holiday. I like KOA's in general but think this one has to go some. Thanks, AC

Very nice staff and campers BUT the park is poorly developed, too much gravel and not enough green landscaping. I almost got stuck in my Roadtrek camper van while driving on an internal road. To me, this facility is a missed opportunity to do something spectacular: beautifully forested area, easy access, high end market in C'ville. But I will return when I visit family in the area.

The campground was very clean and the surrounding area was beautiful. We had an issue with one of our tire on our motorhome and the staff helped us with our little issue. The staff was amazing and so very nice. We totally recommend this KOA for anyone who likes a natural setting.

We would stay again, my kids liked grounds. The bathrooms were the cleanest I have ever seen camping anywhere. Only recommendation I have is for the cabin to be cleaned more thoroughly. The first day my kids found a lighter under the bed and we had not brought this. The first shift lady who worked was kind.

Wonderful place. Nestled in among trees. It’s in a perfect location for so much tourism. Wineries, The Monticello, etc.

Lovely cabin and campground, and friendly staff. However — and it’s a big one — all staff ignores the STATE LAW that masks are mandatory indoors. No staff wore a mask, ever, and no staff enforced the mask mandate on any guests, verbally or via a sign. This is a law; it isn’t optional.

Super friendly check in staff. Clean bathrooms with private sink, toilet, and shower. Quiet hours enforced nicely. Very convenient to Monticello, Charlottesville, and hiking!

Great location that is in wine country and close to Charlottesville. Smallish (but full service) campground that has nice sites that are fairly well spaced with some being a bit crowded (but still a lot better that most other KOAs). Would recommend to anyone and will stay again when in area.

No tent on RV campsite is disappointing. Perhaps allow 1 tent, to be erected no sooner than 9pm, and taken down no later than 9am.

Campground was very quiet during or stay at end of April 2021. We had a pull-thru site 17. We saw equipment improving some sites. We had a very stable 50 Amp connection. Cable TV connection is included. Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful.

The office staff was great! The restrooms were the cleanest we have seen this year. We loved our site.

A great peaceful setting. We had spot #17 at the end of a row, plenty of space and a nice view of the woods. Very quiet at night. Plenty of birds and a nice walking trail.

Can’t rave about this place enough - almost every site is private, immaculate bathrooms/showers, and polite staff. Will be back if ever in the area again.

Excellent short stay. Campground well kept, excellent hookups. Will definitely stay there again when in area. Staff very polite and friendly.

Stayed in new section. I told Ashley about a low hanging branch as she made her rounds. Within 45 minutes one of the maintenance men arrived, cut the Branch down and trimmed of few others. Great customer service, friendly staff. New sites are clean and quiet.

This is a hidden gem a little over a half an hour outside Shenandoah NP. Exceptionally friendly staff welcome you to a woodsy KOA that has all the usual attractions but each camouflaged between towering trees. We visited in autumn with our 2 dogs and throughly enjoyed our stay. Our site was spacious and semi private. We hiked their nature trail each morning and evening with the dogs and enjoyed views of Beaver pond while appreciating the mutt mitt station along our route. A small fenced in pet playground allowed the pooches to run free and meet friends. You'll find very clean private showers and bathrooms as well as a nice little camp store with souvenirs and snacks. Very well done! Thank you to our hosts.

Upon arrival, check in was only a few moments, it was easy to find our campsite. Internet connection is about 118 mbs, very fast, cellular connection is great. Everything in the campground is clean, the restrooms are private, clean and warm. We stayed 10/21-22/2021. A fantastic time.
